Objective To investgate the value of interventional therapy in inferior vena cava stenosis or obstruction caused by tumor and management after the operation. Methods 53 patients with IVC stenosis caused by tumor had detailed information. After the guide wire passed through the stenosised part and then undergoing balloon expansion, Gianturco Z stents or wallstents were implanted to undergo venography and measuring pressure after that. Results Technical success was attained in 50 patients, 3 cases was failure because the guide wire couldn't pass through the obstructed region. The technical success rate is 94.3%. 2 patients with IVC stenosis over 10 cm length was placed two stents. In other 48 patients, everyone was placed one stent. The pressure of IVC dropped from (28.66?4.08)cm H 2O (1 cm H 2O =0.098 kPa) before operation to (17.65?4.18)cm H 2O after operation. Through t examination, the difference of IVC pressure before and after treatment has statistic significance( t =3.261, P

Objective To evaluate the effect of 6% hydroxyethyl starch (HES) 200/0.5 on the pulmonary capillary permeability in oleic acid induced acute lung injury (ALI) and investigate the possible mechanism of the therapeutic effect of HES. Methods Forty male SD rats weighing 280-370 g were randomly divided into four groups: group I balanced solution (control); group II 6% HES 200/0.5; group III gelatin and group IV dextran 40. The animals were anesthetized with intraperitoneal 3% pentobarbital 30-40 mg?kg-1 . Right external jugular vein was cannulated. Oleic acid 0.06 ml?kg-1 was given iv.10 ml?kg-1 of the above-mentioned different solutions was infused over 1.5 h in the four groups. Then 0.5% Evan's blue 1ml was injected iv. Four hours later the animals were sacrificed and lungs removed for pathologic examination under microscope, and determination of lung water content [ (wet weight -dry weight)/wet weight ? 100% ] . Lung Evan's blue content was determined by formamide extracting method. Lung MDA content and MPO activity were also determined. Results Lung water and Evan's blue contents were significantly lower in group II than those in any other groups. MPO activity and MDA level in group II were lowest among the four groups. Conclusions HES can decrease pulmonary capillary permeability, attentuate pulmonary edema and lung injury, and depress MPO activity and MDA level. The underlying mechanism may be due to its depressant effect on PMN aggregation and lipid peroxidation.

Objective:To explore the expression of GATA3 in breast cancer tissues and its correlation with pathological types of tumors and prognosis. Methods:The paraffin samples of breast cancer tissues and paraffin samples of normal para-cancerous tissues from 100 breast cancer patients who underwent surgical excision in Luanzhou People′s Hospital of Hebei Province from June 2014 to June 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. The expression of GATA3 in breast cancer tissues and normal para-cancerous tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry. And its significance in prognosis evaluation was analyzed. The survival rates of patients with different GATA3 expression were analyzed by Kaplan-Meier survival curves. Results:The positive expression rate of GATA3 in breast cancer tissues was significantly lower than that in normal para-cancerous tissues: 61.00% (61/100) vs. 86.00% (86/100), and there was statistical difference ( χ2 = 16.044, P<0.01). The positive expression rate of GATA3 was related with histological grading, lymph node metastasis, estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR) and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER-2), P<0.05, and not related with age, TNM staging or tumor long diameter ( P>0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis result showed that histological grading at gradeⅢ, positive HER-2 and lymph node metastasis were independent risk factors of GATA3 positive expression of breast cancer tissues in patients with breast cancer ( OR = 1.747, 2.699 and 1.730; 95% CI 1.107 to 2.758, 1.035 to 7.039 and 1.139 to 2.626; P<0.05). The 3-year survival rate in GATA3 positive patients was significantly higher than that in GATA3 negative patients: 86.89% (53/61) vs. 66.67% (26/39), and there was statistical difference ( P<0.05). Conclusions:The positive expression rate of GATA3 in breast cancer tissues is significantly lower than that in normal para-cancerous tissues. The expression level of GATA3 is related to pathological types of breast cancer, histological grading, lymph node metastasis, ER, PR and HER-2. The expression level of GATA3 is of certain significance in evaluating prognosis of patients.

Objective: To investigate the psychosocial characteristics and mind-physique status of pa-tients with gynecological malignant tumors. Methods: Clinical psycho-rating scale [life event scale (LES) and symptom checklist-90 (SCL-90)] was applied to test life events and mind-physique status of 60 cases of pa-tients with gynecological malignant tumor. The results were compared with those of 40 female patients with benign tumors and 40 normal females. Results: The frequency and tension value of total life events and those of negative life events in the malignant cancer group were much higher than those in the benign tumor group and normal group (P<0.05) and no remarkable differences were found in the frequency of positive life events among the three groups. The frequencies of total life events and negative life events were higher in the be-nign tumor group than those in the normal group (P<0.05) but there were no significant differences in the fre-quency of positive life events, total tension value or positive tension value among the three groups. No signifi-cant differences were found in the indices of SCL-90, positive scores and scorns of other factors among the three groups (P>0.05). The scores of somatization, obsession, interpersonal relationship sensitivity, anxiety, hostility, phobia, and paranoia were higher in the malignant tumor group than in the benign tumor group and normal group (P<0.05). The average positive scores and the depression scores in the benign tumor group were higher than those in the normal group (P<0.05), but there was no statistical significance in other indices between the benign tumor group and the normal group (P>0.05). Conclusion: Negative psychosocial factors are closely correlated with the occurrence and growth of gynecological malignant tumors. Active psychological intervention should be performed as eady as possible.
