Objective: To investigate the plasma effective constituents of Beagle dogs after oral administration with the extract of Polygonum multiflorum thunb. Methods: Based on the established HPLC fingerprints, comparison was carried out among the blank plasma, plasma containing drug, Polygonum multiflorum thunb. Simultaneously, the retention time and UV spectrogram were utilized as index to evaluate the relation among the fingerprint peaks so as to confirm the original of peaks. Result: Fourteen components were detected after oral administration. Four of them were the original components existed in Polygonum multiflorum thunb and ten of them were metabolites. Conclusion: Studying on the constituents and metabolites in plasma is useful to research the effective substances of Chinese medicine of Polygonum multiflorum thunb in vivo.

This study analyzed the pesticide residue and heavy metal contents in Panaxnotoginseng (Burk.) F.H.Chen to provide the basis for the quality criterion of pollution-freemedicinal materials and slices of notoginseng. We randomly collected 100 samples of notoginseng from farmer's markets, producing areas of notoginseng and internet markets. We entrusted the third-party authoritative testing institutions to detect 203 items of the pesticide residues and 4 items of heavy metals.According to relative standards of Japan,Korea, the United States and the European Union,we analyzed and summarized the data in this study. We confirmed the 25 species of pesticides with high operating frequency and detection rate and the limited amount index of 4 heavy metals. In conclusion, these results enriched the limited amount index of the pesticide residues and heavy metal contents based on the previous notoginseng standard system serving as the quality criterion of pollution-free notoginseng, which was applicative and operable.

Panax notoginseng (BurK.) F.H.Chen is a traditional Chinese medicinal material with a time-honored history of cultivation. There are a series of problems, such as high pesticide residues, serious disease and pest, and continuous cropping obstacles in the process of the cultivation of notoginseng.Pollution-free cultivation is an effective strategy for the sustainable development of notoginseng industry. We herein summarized three points of the pollution-free cultivation of notoginseng in this review. The standard of lands suitable for the cultivation of notoginseng was established on the basis of the analysis of medicinal plants around global producing areas. The integrated measures of soil improvement were put forward by cfficient rotation and soil disinfection with new varieties breeding combined with the management of water, light and fertilization, and the safe and low-toxic methods of disease and pest control.Additionally, the mode of wild tending should be carried out when the marker-assisted breeding of new varieties was developed, and the platform of comprehensive disease and pest control was founded.Above-mentioned points can effectively perfect and optimize the pollution-free cultivation of notoginseng and promote sustainable development of notoginseng industry.

Objective:
To establish a method to determine fluorine ion in human urine by ion chromatography method.
Methods:
The samples were centrifuged, diluted and processed by C18 solid-phase column, potassium hydroxide as mobile phase, gradient elution, separated by AS15, and determined by anion conductivity detector.
Results:
The linear correlation coefficient of fluoride ion in the range of 0.02-10.00 mg/L was more than 0.999. The lowest detection limit of urinary fluoride was 0.06 mg/L (in 3 ml urine) . The recoveries of the method were 96.9%-99.5%, the inter batch precision range was 0.40%-2.89%. The intra batch precision was from 1.01 to 7.23%. Fluoride samples could be stored for 7 days at room temperature and 4 ℃, and be stored for 14 days at -20 ℃.
Conclusion
Determination of fluoride in urine by ion chromatography, the method could meet the requirement in GBZ/T 210.5-2008.

Chinese Journal of Preventive Medicine 2018;52(2):180-184
Objective:
To analyze the results obtained from the proficiency testing program for determination of bovine blood lead and urinary cadmium, so as to evaluate the proficiency of the laboratories, and improve the detection and quality control capability of occapational health laboratory.
Methods:
Prepared 3 levels of lead samples with bovine blood as base material, taking Technical Norm of Primary Reference Material as Operating standard, 60, 80, 180 μg/L were used as the standard concentration. All samples were made for 200 bottles. Normal urine were used to prepared 3 levels of cadmium samples with 5.0, 7.0, 10.0 μg/L as standard concentration, then 3 level of samples were made for 200 bottles respectively. Blood lead and urinary cadmium samples were sent to each laboratory in the form of sample pairs. One-way ANOVA was used to investigate the homogeneity. The results of each laboratory were statistically analyzed by robust statistical method, and the detection ability of the laboratory was evaluated by the
