1.Practice in and exploration of marketing by medium-sized and small hospitals
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(09):-
The paper analyzes the marketing circumstances for the operation of medium-sized and small hospitals under a market-oriented economy and gives an account of how the hospital the author works with has treaded the path of rapid and healthy development by actively changing marketing concepts, implementing marketing strategies in the light of local conditions, promoting one-to-one marketing, and persisting in people-oriented services. The experiences will hopefully shed light on the survival and development of medium-sized and small hospitals.

OBJECTIVE To find out the distribution and durg resistance of the pathogens in 2008 in the 8th People′s Hospital of Guangzhou.METHODS Disc diffusion test(KB methods) was employed to study the antimicrobial susceptibility.WHONET 5.3 was applied for date analysis.RESULTS 208 Gram positive coccus strains accounted for(46.3%),241 Gram negative bacillus strains(53.67%) in A total of 449 pathogenic strains.Meticillin resistant strains accounted for 41.7%and Staphylococcus aureus and CNS for 55%.All the Staphylococcus strains were not Vancomycin-resistance.Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pnenmoniae strains producing extended spectrum-beta-lactamas accounted for 41.4%and 44.2%,but were highly sensitive to Carbapenem.Acinetobacter baumannii and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were highly sensitive to Carbapenem.CONCLUSIONS The resistance of antibiotics should be continuously monitored to provide basis for reasonable use of drugs in clinical practice and take effective evidence for the control of the problem.

Objective To improve the level of diagnosis and treatment for Ureter behind Lower Vena Cava. Methods 11 cases of Ureter behind Lower Vena Cava patients′clinical information have been reviewed and analysed. The main symptom for these patients include waist ache, right kidney colic, hematuria and so on.Through visualizating on vein urinary passage, pelvis visualizating conversely and so on,a correct diagnosis can be gained mostly. Results As for 11 cases of patients who have been done ureteroureteral anastomsis, based on respective follow-up visit conducted during 1 to 10 years, their clinical symptom have disappeared, for example, right kidney hydrocele are mending well, ureter becomes smooth and kidney function normal. Conclusion Visualizating on vein urinary passage and pelvis visualizating conversely will bring mostly a correct diagnosis. When it is difficult to diagnose,a correct diagnosis can be obtained by combining such visualization with MRU or CT inspection.Surgical is a top choice for such patients, and can bring a satifactory effect.

Objective To identify the pathogens that cause hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) in adults and analyze the nucleotide sequences characteristics of enterovirus 71 (EV71). Methods The reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method was used to detect the enterovirus from the samples of four adult HFMD patients. The 227 bp amplified segments of EVT1 were then sequenced and compared with the sequences of previously isolated EVT1 strains available from GenBank by homogeneity and phylogenetic tree analyses. Results All the results of RT-PCR with enterovirus universal primers and EVT1 specific primers were positive. The EV71 sequences analysis showed that the four new sequences (named as GZ19610, GZ99310, GZ99355 and GZ46477) shared 96.0% to 99.1% nucleotide identify themselves and shared 96.9% to 100.0% homology with the strain Fuyang/17.08/3 isolated in 2008 from Fuyang, Anhui Province. Phylogenetic tree analysis showed that the genotype of the four new sequences was all subtype C4, they were the same sub-genotype as those strains isolated from Chinese mainland and Chinese Taiwan in 2004, and the genetic distance between them was most closely. Conclusions EV71 can cause adult HFMD. Compared with the nucleotide sequences of EV71 strains that isolated now and formerly in China, there is no large variation of the EV71 sequences isolated from four adult HFMD patients in Guangzhou this time. The adult HFMD patients should be isolated for treatment to avoid them transmitting the virus and causing disease spreading.

AIM: DNA vaccines expressing protective domain of surface protective antigen A(spaA)of Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae have been relatively ineffective at generating high-titer, long-lasting, neutralizing antibodies in murine models. METHODS: This paper report using a DNA vaccine expressing a fusion of the spaA protein and various elements, such as a secretion leader sequence from the highly expressed human gene encoding α1-antitrypsin (AAT), a highly soluble and stably folded domain from the rat cartilage oligomerization matrix protein (COMP), and three copies of the complement component, C3d3, to enhance the titers of neutralizing spaA-specific antibody. RESULTS: Analysis of titers of the antibody raised in vaccinated mice at different time points indicated that immunizations with the DNA expressing pcDNA3-AAT-COMP-spaAN-3C3d((pcD-ACSC)) had higher titers than pcDNA3-spaA_N(pcD-S) at weeks 4. Furthermore, the immune protective efficacy of the spaA-chimeras was demonstrated by lethal challenge with a virulent homologous strain 1249 against immunized mice. CONCLUSION: These results suggest that using a plasmid vector containing a strong heterologous signal sequence that mediate efficient antigen secretion in vivo and a fused piece of sequence improving antigens solubility, as well as C3d3, genetic adjuvant, could enhance the antibody responses level. This approach might be an efficient way to improve the antibody level of spaA_N DNA vaccination.

Journal of Practical Radiology 1996;0(04):-
Objective To explore the imaging features of breast cancer by CR mammography,in order to improve the diagnostic level. Methods The CR mamographic features of 37 patients with breast cancer confirmed surgically and pathologically were analysed retrospectively. Results In the 37 cases of breast cancer, the following abnormal signs were found in CR mammograms: mass(n=29),without mass(n=8),calcification(n=15),abnormal vascularity(n=7),inverted nipple(n=6),thickened skin(n=3),sign of tower's tine(n=3),sign of funnel(n=1),focal structural disorder and small focus of increased density(n=3). Conclusion The masses and calcificationsare the main radiological features in breast cancer,CR mammography may show the characteristics of breast cancer,it is one of the mosteffective means in diagnosis of breast cancer.

The incidence of male infertility increased year by year, which seriously affects family welfare and social development. This article reviews and sorts out recent years’ studies on acupuncture treatment for male infertility. The results show that acupuncture treatment has produced a good clinical effect on this disease. Some progresses have been made in clinical acupuncture point selection, operating methods, complex treatment and therapeutic mechanism. The clinical effect and the mechanism of action of acupuncture treatment for this disease have been deeply explored from symptom differentiation and classification, acupoint selection and prescription, acupoint stimulation mode, and combined acupuncture and moxibustion therapy so as to provide new ideas for clinical acupuncture treatment and basic study.

Cancer Research and Clinic 2000;0(01):-
The process of lung cancer invasion and metastasis consists of a complex series of multigene and multistep, CD44V6 is a broadly distributed transmembrane glycoprotein, which mainly participates in the specific adhesion process and plays an important role in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. The researches showed that the high expression of CD44V6 was helpful for metastasis ability of tumor cell. MMps is a groups of metal hydronium depend-proteinase, it exhibits proteolytic activity against components of the extracellular matrix (ECM). The recent study indicated that MMps has been played important roles not only in degradation of ECM proteins, but also in the regulation of tumorigenesis. Combined with two marker might be an important significant to judge prognosis ,metastasis and development.
