Object To determine the content of glycyrrihizic acid obtained when each individual ingredient in MAHUANG DECOCTION was decocted separately and then mixing the extracts with boiling water in comparison with that obtained by decocting the total composition together as a whole in the traditional way. Methods The contents of glycyrrhizic acid was determined by HPLC. Hypersil C 18 column was used, with acetonitrile∶0.1% acetic acid (33∶67) as the mobile phase and detected at the wavelength of 254 nm. Results The average recovery of glycyrrhizic acid when separately decocted was 102.43%, RSD=2.65%, while that of decoction in whole was 99.41%, RSD=3.11%. Conclusion The method was simple and accurate and was not interfered by other constituents in the prescription.

Objective To develop a reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography ( RP￣HPLC) method determining the related substances and levidipine. Methods The Welchrom C18 column (250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) was used with Octadecylsilane bonded silica as a filler.The mobile phase consisted of methanol￣ethanol￣water (40:20:40),at the flow rate of 1 mL.min-1 in an isocratic elution,the temperature was at 45 ℃ , and the detective wavelength was 240 nm. Results Levidipine could be separated from all impurities and intermediates within the concentration range from151 to 604 ng.mL-1 , which had a satisfied linear relationship (r= 0.999 9) with a regression equation of Y= 0.049 9X+0.597 9.The LOQ of detection was 31.9 ng.mL-1 . Conclusion The developed method is specific,sensitive,easy and fast to operate,which is suitable for detecting levidipine and its related impurities.

METHODS: The chromatographic seperation was performed on a Diamonsil C_(18) (250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm)with a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid, gradient eluent, at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The UV detection was set at 340 nm. RESULTS: There was an apparent difference in fingerprint between Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides and its adulterants. CONCLUSION: The method is stable and reliable with a good reproducibility andprovides a reference standard for identifying Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides and its adulterants.

To improve the anesthesia skills of younger anesthesiologists ,department of anes-thesiology of the Affiliated Hospital of Yangzhou University formed the tutorial system based on tutori-al team. Through enhancing the selection of tutors,establishing of tutorial team and conducting clini-cal skill guidance and scientific research ability training,department of anesthesiology aimed to devel-op personal quality,clinical and scientific research ability of younger anesthesiologists in the process of clinical completion and application of scientific research subject.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of application of single and dual antiplatelet aggregation therapy in high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) level in patients with angina pectoris. Methods Ninety-six hospitalized patients with angina 6~48 h (hs-CRP< 2 mg/L) were selected and randomly divided into single aspirin group (aspirin 100 mg/d, n=48) and aspirin plus clopidogrel combination therapy group (aspirin 100 mg/d and clopidogrel 75 mg/d, n=48). The efficacy was evaluated after 30-day treatment. Data of composite end points were analyzed by follow-up in patients within 6 months. Results The total effective rates were 85.42%for combination therapy group and 81.25%for single aspirin group. There was no significant difference in total effective rate between two groups (P>0.05). There were no significant differences in events of composite end points in patients after treatment between two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion For angina pectoris patients with hs-CRP<2 mg/L, the risk of cardiovascular events is relatively little. There is no obvious difference in curative effect between single and dual antiplatelet aggreration therapies.

AIM:To establish HPLC fingerprint for the root and rhizome of Clematis uncinata Champ and to compare the differences of clematis and Clematis uncinata in fingerprint. METHODS:Based on 10 batches of Clematis unciuata Champ,its chromatographic seperation was performed on Diamonsil C18 (250 mm ? 4. 6 mm,5 ?m)with a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile -0.05% phosphoric acid,gradient eluent,at the flow rate of 0. 8 mL/min. The UV detection was set at 210 nm. RESULTS:The mutual mode to HPLC-UV fingerprints was set up,and the 23 mutual peaks were indicated. The similarities were compared among Cleuatis uncinata Champ and substitutes collected from different sources there were apparent difference in fingerprint. CONCLUSION:The method is stable and reliable with a good reproducibility and provides a reference standard for identifying medicinal clematis.

Objective To explore the effect of neonatal exposure to different doses of Bisphenol A (BPA)on the hypothalamic -pituitary -testis axis in toddler and adolescent male rats.Methods Neonatal male Sprague -Daw-ley rats were randomly divided into 5 groups through random digital table method:control group,vehicle group,low -dose BPA [25 μg/(kg · d)]group,medium -dose BPA [50 μg/(kg · d)]group and high -dose BPA [250μg/(kg·d)]group.The rats were subcutaneously injected with respective agents on postnatal days 1 -7 (PND 1 -7).Pups were sacrificed on PND 22 and PND 50.The hypothalamus and testis were taken and weighed.The hypotha-lamic Kiss -1 mRNA and the testis androgen receptor (AR)mRNA were tested by using real -time fluorescence quan-titative and the levels of serum luteinizing hormone (LH),follicle stimulating hormone (FSH),testosterone (T)were tested by using radio immunity method,and inhibin B was measured by using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. Results Compared with the controls,the level of serum FSH [(1 .610 0 ±0.693 2)IU /L,(1 .574 3 ±0.675 0)IU /L vs (2.362 9 ±0.580 3)IU /L](F =3.314,P =0.026),LH [(3.876 3 ±0.908 0)IU /L,(3.603 8 ±1 .350 2)IU /L vs (5.302 5 ±0.768 4)IU /L](F =3.1 39,P =0.027)and T [(0.383 8 ±0.1 77 8)μg/L,(0.442 5 ±0.21 4 1 )μg/L vs (0.782 5 ±0.282 1 )μg/L](F =5.1 06,P <0.01 )of medium and high -dose BPA groups,were decreased in PND 22,and the organ coefficient of testis [(0.952 90 ±0.049 1 5)%,(0.969 20 ±0.045 82)% vs (1 .022 80 ± 0.01 1 08)%](F =1 0.326,P <0.01 )and serum T [(1 .758 6 ±0.369 6)μg/L,(1 .71 8 8 ±0.395 7)μg/L vs (3.357 5 ±0.749 8)μg/L](F =1 3.799,P =0.01 2)were significantly decreased in PND 50.In high -dose BPA group of PND 22,the expression of hypothalamic Kiss -1 mRNA (0.068 80 ±0.01 1 79)was increased compared with the other groups (F =272.1 25,P <0.01 ),while in PND 50,compared with control group,the Kiss -1 mRNA (0.002 00 ±0.000 25,0.001 90 ±0.000 48 vs 0.001 40 ±0.000 1 7)of medium -and high -dose BPA groups was decreased(F =1 91 .826,P <0.01 ).Conclusions Neonatal exposure to the medium and high -dose BPA may impair the function of testis in toddler and adolescent male rats,and affect the hypothalamus -pituitary -testis axis.Neonatal exposure to the low -dose BPA does not have a significant influence on the hypothalamus -pituitary -testis axis.

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of Enzymes linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)detection of anti phospholipase A2 receptor antibody(anti-PLA2R)in idiopathic membranous nephropathy patients.Methods All articles published from January 2012 to April 2017 about ELISA test on anti phospholipase A2 recepeor antibody as a maker for IMN were collected, and the quality of the studies was evaluated by using the guidelines of the updated Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Stud-ies(QUADAS-2)tool.According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,the research objects were selected and the data were extracted,and the analysis was carried out by Meta-Disc1.4 software.The results are summarized on the basis of sensitivity,speci-ficity,and summary receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC curve).Results Ten articles were selected according to inclusion criteria and 1517 cases were included in the study.The combined sensitivity was 0.68[95% CI(0.64,0.70)];the merge specificity was 0.92[95% CI(0.90,0.95)],and the subjects'working curve showed AUC 0.807 4.Conclusion The detection of anti-PLA2R by ELISA is effective in the diagnosis of idiopathic membranous nephropathy,which can be used as an effective supplement for the diagnosis of idiopathic membranous nephropathy.

Objective:To assess the value of serum tumor specific protein 70 (SP70) for prognostic stratification in acute myeloid leukemia (AML).Methods:A cohort study design was adopted. 129 newly diagnosed AML patients from September 2022 to January 2024 at the Hematology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University were included, as well as a control group consisted of 120 healthy individuals and 7 cases with benign hematologic diseases during the same period (total 127 cases). Clinical data were collected from Electronic Medical Records. According to the 2023 edition of the Chinese Leukemia Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines, AML patients with good or moderate prognosis were categorized as low-to-intermediate risk, while those with poor prognosis were high-risk group. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to identify variables significantly associated with AML prognostic risk. ROC analysis was used to evaluate diagnostic performance. A nomogram for predicting patient prognostic risk was constructed by R 4.0.2 software, and the internal validation was performed using bootstrapping.Results:Among 129 AML patients, there were 71 males (55.0%) and 58 females (45.0%), with 42 (32.6%) classified as high-risk and 87 (67.4%) as low-intermediate risk. The high-risk group had a significantly higher median age [62 (48, 67) years] compared to the low-intermediate risk group [50 (35, 63) years, Z=-2.381, P=0.017], and a significantly higher proportion of males (30 patients, 71.4%) compared to the low-intermediate risk group (41 patients, 47.1%, χ 2=6.760, P=0.009). Multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that serum SP70 ( OR=2.54, 95% CI: 1.68-3.84, P<0.001), hemoglobin (HB) ( OR=0.96, 95% CI: 0.93-0.99, P<0.05), and bone marrow blast (BM blast) ( OR=1.07, 95% CI: 1.02-1.13, P<0.05) were independent risk factors for high-risk prognosis in AML patients. ROC analysis showed that the area under the curve (AUC) for SP70 predicting high-risk patients was 0.908 (cut-off value of 5.74 ng/ml, 95% CI: 0.845-0.952, sensitivity 90.5%, specificity 82.8%). The combined model of serum SP70, HB, and BM blasts had an AUC of 0.931 (95% CI: 0.890-0.973); C-index=0.925 (95% CI: 0.876-0.963),with no statistically significant difference compared to serum SP70 alone ( Z=1.693, P>0.05). Conclusion:Serum SP70 may be a promising non-invasive molecular biomarker for prognostic stratification in AML.
