Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2017;26(8):865-868
Objective To analyze the epidemiology of patients with diseases to be treated by internal medicine physicians present in the emergency department. Methods A retrospective analysis of the data of patients under observation in the emergency department of the affiliated hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University admitted from Jan.1 2014 through Jan.1 2015 was carried out.The records including patients' name, age, gender, type of diseases, time required for complete resolution of the disease and outcome of patients were kept. The data were analyzed with SPSS 17.0 version software, and x2 test was used to compare the difference in incidence. Results There were a total of 13842 patients with 53% male and (58.21 ± 17.43) years of average age.The highest proportion of patients kept in emergency room for observation was in 60-74 years old group. The number of patients paying a visit to the doctor peaked during 12-24 o'clock and there were two max-peaks at 18,and 22 o'clock. There was a significant increase in number of patients in March,April and Dec.with the highest number in March and the lowest number in July.Respiratory diseases, cardiovascular disease and neurological diseases were the major prevalence diseases in the seasonal spectrum accounting for 64.56% of the total number.Between July and August,a large number of patients suffering from outbreak of allergic asthma were flocking to hospital after a shower of heavy rain. Conclusion A more attention should be paid to the middle-aged people of this kind.According to the prevalence features of the diseases, the appropriate and reasonable arrangements of medical workers & medical resources should be planned out so as to increase the survival rate of emergency patients.

3.Serum metabolomics study of lupus nephritis based on ultra high performance liquid chromatography mass spectrometry
Chinese Journal of Rheumatology 2016;20(12):817-821,后插2
Objective The metabolomics methods were applied to discover the serum differences metabolites in patients with lupus nephritis (LN),and to establish the diagnostic model and study the metabolic pathways change due to the interference of LN and explore the pathogenesis of LN.Methods Positive and negative ions mode of ultra high performance liquid chromatography-high resolution mass spectrometry (HPLS-HRMS) were used to analyze the serum samples of 38 LN patients and 35 healthy controls, respectively. Both univariate and multivariate data analysis were performed with SPSS software (V17.0,Chicago,USA) and SIMCA-P+ package (V12.0,Umetrics,Sweden),respectively.A supervised pattern recognition method, orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA),was employed to study the metabolomics differences between control group and LN patients group. The metabolic pathways were analyzed by Metabo Analyst 3.0.Results LN patients and healthy controls could be well separated by OPLS-DA model Q2 of 0.583.Eighteen compounds (theophylline, oxidized glutathione, capric acid, norvaline, hippuric acid,sphingosine,sorbitol,cortisol,pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid, deoxycholic acid,tryptamine,5-aminolevulinic acid, glucose 6-phosphate,riboflavin,cortisone,taurine,creatinine,glycerophosphocholine) were initially identified as potential serum metabolic markers to distinguish LN patients from healthy people.Alternated metabolism pathways included citrate metabolism, pyrimidine metabolism and amino acid metabolism. Conclusion Through analysis of the metabolic pathways of different metabolites, the significant impact of LN on citrate metabolism, pyrimidine metabolism and amino acid metabolism pathways are identified. Some of the different metabolites are involved in the process of immunization. These results will benefit the early intervention and treatment of LN and the research of the mechanism of pathogenesis.

Chinese Journal of Nursing 2009;44(8):715-716
This paper summarize the perioperative nursing of 12 newborns with thyroglossal cyst. The preoperative nursing measures focused on prone position, gastric tube feeding, close monitoring of vital signs and tracheal intubation as needed. If the TeSO2 was normal, oxygen therapy was not recommended. After the operation, continuously monitoring vital signs, respiratory care and use of sedatives as needed were carried out. As a result, all of the 12 infants recovered and discharged.

AIM: To evaluate the response of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) to fluoxetine. METHODS: After a baseline polysomnography (PSG) and Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) documented OSAHS, 10 patients were treated with fluoxetine (20 mg?d -1 ) for four weeks, a repeating PSG and ESS was performed to evaluate the action of fluoxetine. RESULTS: After 4 weeks fluoxetine treatment, the proportion of REM sleep time was decreased by 9.2 %, and the assessment of ESS was significantly decreased (P 0.05 ). The apnea/hypopnea index (AHI) fell in average 24.84 per hour, the mean SaO 2 and minimum SaO 2 significantly increased by 3.2 % and 16.6 %, respectively, and desaturation event index significantly decreased 18.24 per hour (P 0.05 ). The treatment efficiency of fluoxetine to OSAHS was 50%. CONCLUSION: Short term use of fluoxetine in patients with OSAHS is associated with better sleep quality, improvement in oxygenation, and reduction of episodic apneas or hypopneas.

Objective To study the expression of IL 1?,TNF ? and nitric oxide (NO) in the cervical intervertebral disc and their roles in the pathogenesis of cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM). Methods Fifteen cervical discs were obtained from patients of CSM undergoing anterior disc surgery. Six cervical discs specimens were obtained in the surgical operation with patients with traumatic cervical injury served as the control. The specimens were analyzed for IL 1?、TNF ? by use of ELISA method, NO was measured by optical density assays. Results The contents of IL 1?,TNF ? and NO in disc of CSM patients increased significantly when compared with the control group. Conclusion The results of the present study indicated that IL 1?,TNF ? and NO may be involved in the pathogenesis of CSM.

Chinese Journal of Marine Drugs 1994;0(03):-
Three known compounds have been isolated from the marine sponge Gel-liodes spinosella in the South China Sea. The crude ethanol extract was partitioned between ethyl acetate and water, and then between w-butanol and water. The butanol fraction was chromatographed on silica gel column to obtain thymidine(1l) ,phenylacetic acid(2)and L-(-)-3-phenylanine(3). Their structures were determined by UV,IR,1HNMR,and 13CNMR data.
