The clinical application of xenotransplantation can provide unlimited donator organs,and promote the rapid development of organ transplantation.Xenotransplantation must overcome rejection and cross-species infection,and the latter adverse reaction is known as the biggest potential danger brought by xenotransplantation.Although cross-species infection caused by xenotransplantation has not yet occurred,test-tube experiments have already confirmed the possibility of cross-species infection.Besides,ethical issues related to the use of animal organs have been a heated social concern.

Objective To investigate the effect of continued nursing on postoperative outcomes of discharged patients with chronic suppurative otitis media.Methods Toally 198 discharged patients were randomized into the control group (n=98) and the observation group (n=100).The patients in both groups received normal health education and additionally the continued nursing was used in the observation group for health education by way of phone call follow-up,on-the-spot consultation and QQ consultation.The mastery of related knowledge and skills,incidence of secondary tympanic membrane and readmission rate were compared.Results Six months after discharge,the observation group was significantly better than those the control group in the mastery of related knowledge and skills (P＜0.05).The incidence of secondary tympanic membrane perforation was not statistically significant between the groups(P＞ 0.05).The readmission rate at the second week and the third week between the two groups had no statistically significant difference (P＞ 0.05).However,the readmission rate at the first,second,third and sixth month were statistically different (P＜0.05).Conclusion Continued nursing to the postoperative discharged patients with chronic suppurative otitis media can improve the follow-up rate after discharge and self-nursing capacity,and as a result promote their recovery.

Objective The aim of this study is to evaluate whether video -assisted thoracoscopic surgi-cal( VATS) lobectomy is as effective as open thoracotomy lobectomy for complete dissection of the mediastinal lymph node(MLN).Methods Patients with clinical stage N0 lung cancer who underwent lobectomy between January 2008 and June 2013were retrospectively evaluated based on the LN station resected and lobectomy proce -dure used,and a resection ratio was calculated .Nodal stage and the proportion of patients ,from whom at least three MLNs and station 7were dissected and compared by lobectomy type .Results Of the 201 patients enrolled in the study,84 and 117 underwent VATS and open thoracotomy lobectomies ,respectively.The mean number of LNs dissected at station 3a was similar in the two groups (1.34 ±2.58 vs.1.52 ±1.78;P>0.05),but the re-section ratio differed(39%sv .63%;P <0.05).However,there were no differences at stations7 and 9R in terms of the number of LNs dissected or resection ratio for the right -sided approaches (P >0.05).There were no differences in the number of LNs dissected or resection ratio between the two groups for stations 4 L,5 L6, L,7 L, and9 L for the left-sided approaches .Only station 8L showed significant differences between the VATS and open thoracotomy groups in the number of LNs dissected (0.12 ±0.44 vs.0.46 ±0.71;P<0.05)and resection ratio (8%vs.36%;P<0.05).There were no differences in the number of LNs dissected or resection ratio between groups for station 7:82.1%of patients in each group had at least three MLNs and station 7 removed(P>0.05). The Kaplan-Meier 5-year survival was also similar between the two groups (log-rank test,P>0.05).Con-clusion VATS lobectomy is as effective as open thoracotomy lobectomy for the dissection of MLNs .Thus,VATS lobotomy resection will continue to be offered as the best choice for patients with clinical stage N0.

Objective To explore the effect of the clinical scenario-based simulation communication education based on Calgary-Cambridge Guide for undergraduate nursing students.Methods Totally 87 undergraduate nursing students were enrolled and divided into the experimental group (n=44) and the control group (n=43).The experimental group received clinical scenario-based simulation communication education based on Calgary-Cambridge Guide for communication.The control group received traditional class-based education for communication.The chnical communication skills questionnaire and Communication Observing Questionnaire were administered before and after the training.The testing results of both groups were compared.Results After participating in the education project,six dimensions of clinical communication competence and the total score were significantly improved after training compared with those before training in the experimental group.After training,the experimental group was better than the control group in establishment of harmonious relationship,confirming patients' problems,efficient information transfer,validation experience and communication competence,t values were 2.64,2.32,2.19,2.20 and 4.36,P＜ 0.05.In testing of integrated cases,scores of six aspects such as case design,information collection,explaining behavior,relationship development,conflict coordination and service behavior in the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group,t values were 2.15,2.10,3.26,2.84,2.14 and 2.61,P＜0.05.Conclusions The clinical scenario-based simulation education based on the Calgary-Cambridge Guide can improve communication competence of nursing students.

In this study ,we analyzed the genetic characterizations and propagation paths of measles viruses prevalent in Ningbo ,China from 2004 to 2013 .Measles viruses were isolated from throat swab specimens from 2004 to 2013 ,and 450 bp fragments of C terminus of nucleoprotein (N) gene were amplified by RT-PCR .Sequence analysis was conducted of all 31 virus strains ,and then compared with other measles virus strains published in GenBank .Results showed that all the 31 measles virus isolates belonged to genotype H1 ,6 strains (one strains in 2004 and 5 ones in 2005) belonged to H1b subtype ,and others be-longed to H1a subtype .Compared the 31 strains to the China 93-4 and China 94-7 ,the homology of 450 bp fragments of C ter-minus of nucleoprotein (N) gene were 97 .1%-100% and 96 .7%-100% ,respectively .The homology of 450 bp fragments of nu-cleotide and nucleotide (amino acids) compared with S191 were 81 .9%-92 .4% and 87 .2%-90 .6% ,respectively .It’s suggested that genotype H1 measles virus circulated in Ningbo from 2004 to 2013 ,and H1a was the predominant epidemic strain ,and H1b strain was existed as well .There are five different transmission chains of H1a subtype caused measles co-circulations in Ning-bo .

Aim To optimize the traditional method of right catheterization in rats and establish a rapid , stable and reliable method of the right heart catheter guided intubation to measure pulmonary artery pressure. Methods Nighty male wistar rats were used to optimize the method of detection of pulmonary arte-rial pressure. Three catheter namely PE50, PU I, and PU II were used for choosing the best intubation. The new technology of right catheterization was established and used for the research of pulmonary arterial hypertension. Results The PU I catheter was obviously better than PE50 and PU II catheter in the success rate and measurement time ( P <0. 05 ) . The method of right heart catheter guided intubation was significantly superior to the traditional right heart direct intubation (P<0. 05 or P<0. 01). After improving the right catheterization, the detection of hemo-dynamic indexes in PAH-model rat was successful with regular pressure curve and reliable experimental data. Conclusions The right heart catheter guided intubation method has a high suc-cess rate and it can detect the pulmonary artery pressure quick-ly, easily, and can help other researchers to complete experi-ment as efficiently as possible.

Objective To investigate the effect of electro-acupuncture on behavior alterations,the expression of amyloid precursor protein(APP),amyloid β-protein(Aβ) proteins and neuroapoptosis in the cerebral cortex in the APPswe/PS1dE9 double transgenic mice with Alzheimer's disease (AD) induced by isoflurane.Methods Sixmonth-old AD mice and wild-type mice at the same age were randomly divided into wile-type control group,AD group,isoflurane group,electro-acupuncture group (N =8).The mice were given pretreatment with electro-acupuncture at Baihui(GV20) acupoint and Yongquan(KI 1) acupoint once a day for 3 successive days,15 min each time.And then the mice in electro-acupuncture group and isoflurane group were exposed to a box full of 1.2％ isoflurane for 4 hours.Morris water maze was used to test the learning and memory abilities of the mice,Western blotting method was used to detect the expression of APP-C83,APP-C99 and Aβ,and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase(TdT)-mediated dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL) was used to detect neuroapoptosis in the cerebral cortex.Results The escape latency of AD group was longer than that of wild-type mice group(P＜0.05),and the latency of isoflurane group was longer than that of AD group (P ＜ 0.05),while the latency of electro-acupuncture group was shorter than that of isoflurane group(P ＜ 0.05).The percentage of retention time in the target quadrant and the times for crossing the target quadrant in isoflurane group were lower than those of AD group (P ＜ 0.05),but were higher in electro-acupuncture group than those in isoflurane group (P ＜ 0.05).APPC83 expression level in isoflurane group was significantly lower than that in AD group (P ＜ 0.05),while APP-C83 expression level in electro-acupuncture group was higher than that in isoflurane group (P ＜ 0.05).APP-C99 expression level in isoflurane group was significantly higher than that in AD group (P ＜ 0.05),and APP-C99 expression level in electro-acupuncture group was lower than that in isoflurane group (P ＜ 0.05).The cortical apoptosis index in isoflurane group was significantly higher than that in AD group (P ＜ 0.05),and the cortical apoptosis index in electro-acupuncture group was lower than that in isoflurane group (P ＜ 0.05).The expression level of Aβ in AD group,isoflurane group and electro-acupuncture group was significantly higher than wild-type control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Electro-acupuncture can relieve the AD-like neurotoxicity induced by isoflurane and inhibit the decline of learning and memory abilities of AD mice,and the mechanism is probably related with suppressing the overexpression of APP-C99 and reducing the production and accumulation of Aβ,thereby alleviating the neuroapoptosis.

Autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP) is an autoimmune-mediated abnormal chronic inflammatory disorder and is often misdiagnosed as pancreatic neoplastic lesions. With in-depth studies of this disease in recent years, it has been taken seriously by hepatobiliary physicians and surgeons. This article summarizes the clinical features, diagnostic criteria, and treatment methods for autoimmune pancreatitis at the present stage, so as to provide clinicians with diagnosis and treatment experience to reduce clinical misdiagnosis.

Objective:To explore the evaluation value of abnormal muscle response (AMR) monitoring in efficacy of microvascular decompression in primary hemifacial spasm.Methods:A retrospective study was performed. Sixty-four patients with primary hemifacial spasm, admitted to our hospital from April 2019 to December 2020, were chosen. All patients underwent intraoperative AMR monitoring and were divided into AMR complete-disappeared group, AMR significant-changed group and AMR not significant-changed group according to the monitoring results. The relief of spasticity symptoms among the three groups was observed one week and one year after surgery. The specificity and sensitivity of AMR monitoring in evaluating the efficacy, the relations between intraoperative AMR changes and postoperative efficacy after microvascular decompression were analyzed.Results:The specificity and sensitivity of AMR monitoring in predicting spasmodic relief after microvascular decompression were 89.7% and 66.7%, respectively, at one week, and 86.7% and 50.0%, respectively, at one year. There were statistical differences in clinical remission rate one week after microvascular decompression among AMR complete-disappeared group ( n=46), AMR significant-changed group ( n=8) and AMR not significant-changed group ( n=10, P<0.05); there were no significant differences in clinical remission rate one year after microvascular decompression among the three groups ( P>0.05). There was no significant difference in clinical remission rate one week and one year after microvascular decompression between patients having AMR complete disappearance before Teflon and patients having AMR complete disappearance after Teflon ( P>0.05). Conclusion:AMR monitoring has high specificity but modest sensitivity in predicting spasmodic relief after microvascular decompression; intraoperative AMR disappearance is associated with short-term efficacy, but it is not a reliable indicator for long-term efficacy; the time of disappearance of intraoperative AMR has no guiding significance in judging the efficacy of patients with primary hemifacial spasm.

Objective To study the safety and effectiveness of polymer-free sirolimus-eluting Nano stent in patients with unstable angina pectoris. Methods Three hundred and twenty-one patients with unstable angina pectoris were divided into Nano stent group(group A,n=157)and Endeavor resolute stent group(group B,n=164). The cardiovascular events were compared postoperative 12 months. The minimal intima cavity area and mini-mum bracket section area and neointimal area were compared postoperative 12 months by intravascular unltrasound (IVUS). Results There were 7 cases of cardiovascular events in group A and 6 in group B postoperative 12 months(P=0.727)and 2 patients in group A and 3 in group B were re-implanted stent because of restenosis post-operative 12 months(P=0.672). The neointimal area were(0.31 ± 0.11 mm2)in group A and(0.29 ± 0.12 mm2) in group B postoperative 12 months(P = 0.985). The minimal intima cavity area(P = 0.921)and the minimum bracket section area(P=0.934)were narrower postoperative 12 months than immediately after the operation in two groups. Conclusion With less cardiovascular events and being safe and reliable,the clinical effect of polymer-free sirolimus-eluting Nano stent implantation is similar to that of Endeavor resolute stent implantation.
