Objective:To study the protective effect of electroacupuncture on stem cell proliferation and differentiation in dentate gyrus (DG) in aged rats with focal cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury. Methods:We duplicated focal cerebral ischemia model with MCAO,with ischemia 3h,I/R1,3,7,14,21d points. The effect of electroacupuncture on the nervous dysfunction score,the water content of cerebral constitution and the stem cell proliferation and differentiation in dentate gyrus were observed,and the non-acupoint group was as control. ObjectiveTo investigate the role of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ)/Caspase-8/Caspase-3 signaling pathway in the development of hyperlipidemia in rats.Methods 60 healthy male SD rats 〔4-week old,weight (110 ± 10) g〕 were randomly divided into control group,high-fat diet group,folic acid group,vitamin B12 group,folic acid and vitamin B12 group.After one week's feeding for adaptability,the groups of foloc acid,vitamine B12 and foloc acid + vitamineB12 were dealt with intraperitoneal injection of folic acid (0.5 mg/d),vitamin B12 (0.05mg/d),and folic acid (0.5 mg/d) plus vitamin B12 (0.05 mg/d),respectively,and fed with high fat diet simultaneously.Control group was dealt with intraperitoneal injection of normal saline (0.5 ml/d)and fed with normal diet.High-fat diet group was only fed with high fat diet.Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to measure the mRNA level of PPARy,Caspase-8 and Caspase-3 in aorta abdominalis dissected at 17 weekends.Results Folic acid alone or jointed with vitamin B12 could effectively increase the level of PPARγ,while decrease the mRNA levels of Caspase8 and Caspase-3 as compared with high-fat diet group (P<0.05),and folic acid plus vitamin B12 was more effective than folic acid alone (P<0.05).Conclusions Folic acid alone or joined with vitamin B12 can improve the mRNA levels of PPARγ,Caspase-8 and Caspase-3 in vascular wall to protect endothelial injury from hyperlipidemia.
3.Myocardial protection of adiponectin /adiponectin receptor 1 signal pathway in rats with limb ischemic preconditioning

Objective To investigate the myocardial protection of adiponectin (ADP) /adiponectin receptor 1 (ADPR1) related-signal pathway in rats with limb ischemic preconditioning.Methods Thirty SD male rats were randomly divided into sham-operation group,myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury (MIRI) group,limb ischemic preconditioning (LIPC) group,LY294002 (the PI3-specific inhibitor) pretreatment group and LY294002+LIPC group (n=10 each).The mRNA level of myocardial ADP and ADPR1,the protein expressions of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3k)phosphorylated Akt (p-Akt) were determined by RT-PCR and Western blot,respectively. Results As compared with sham-operation group,the mRNA levels of ADP and ADPR1 in MIRI group were significantly decreased (0.53 ± 0.07 vs.0.74 ± 0.08 and 0.52 ± 0.02 vs.0.72 ± 0.04,P<0.05).Compared with MIRI group,the mRNA levels of ADP (0.72±0.21) and ADPRI (0.80±0.023) in LIPC group were increased,ADP(0.49±0.07) and ADPR1 (0.52± 0.02) mRNA were decreased in LY294002 group (both P<0.05),but there were no difference in ADP(0.70±0.16) and ADPR1(0.78±0.05) mRNA between LY294002+LIPC group and MIRI group.The protein levels of Pl3k and p-Akt were lower in MIRI group than in sham-operation group (3.85±0.23 vs.2.83±0.22and 3.77±0.32 vs.2.66±0.29,P<0.05).In contrast to MIRI group,the yield of PI3k (2.65±0.32)and p-Akt(2.26±0.27) protein (P<0.05) were increased in LIPC group,but there were unproductive protein of PI3k (3.75 ± 0.65) and p-Akt (4.01 ± 0.71) in LY294002 group with no differences versus the levels of PI3k (3.23 ± 0.48) and p-Akt (3.17 ± 0.54) in LY294002 + LIPC group. Conclusions Limb ischemic preconditioning may protect myocardium by promoting serum adiponectin levels,improving myocardial mRNA expressions of ADP and ADPR1,activating the ADP/PI3k/Akt signaling pathway in reperfusion injury.
4.The Growth-Suppressive Effect of Adenovirus-mediated Wild-type p53 Transfection on Gastric Cancer Cell Line

Objective To study the inhibitory effects of wild-type p53 on gastric cancer cell lines BGC-7901 and to explore the importance of wild-type p53 in gene therapy for gastric cancer. Methods Adenoviral vector with exogenous wild-type p53 gene was transfected into the gastric cancer cell line BGC-7901 which harbours a mutation in codon 204 of the p53 gene.The transfer efficiency and expression effect of p53 were examined by immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization. The growth of BGC-7901 cells in vitro was determined by cell counting and MTT assay. Flow cytometric analysis was used for observing cell cycle.Results Transfer efficiency reached 100% in BGC-7901 cells when adenovirus infection ability was over 100MOI. 3 days after transfection, the introduction of exogenous wild-type p53 into the tumor cells resulted in decreased expression of the protein of mutant p53 and increased level of mRNA of wild-type p53 gene. The growth of the BGC-7901 cells was significantly slower after transfection with wild-type p53 gene than that before transfection. The percentage of G 1/G 0 phase of the cells with exogenous wild-type p53 gene was much higher than that of the cells without exogenous wild-type p53 gene.It was 56 47% and 79 40% respectively(P
5.Detection of MYCN gene amplification in neuroblastic tumors by fluorescence in situ hybridization and its clinical significance

Objective To explore the significance of MYCN gene amplification in children with neuroblastic tumors(NT).Methods The clinicopathological data of 154 cases with NT were reviewed,including general data, classification of pathology,clinical stage and prognosis.MYCN gene amplification was detected by fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH) and its relationship between pathological characteristics and prognostic significance was analyzed.Results There was 154 cases of NT aged 1 day to 11 years,with a mean age of 26.1 months,and the median age of 20.5 months.Male and female ratio was 1.48 : 1.00.According to International Neuroblastoma Staging System (INSS) ,20 cases were of stage Ⅰ (13.0%) ,23 cases of stage Ⅱ (14.9%) ,43 cases of stage Ⅲ (27.9%) ,64 cases of stage Ⅳ(41.6%) and 4 cases of Ⅳs (2.6%).There were 72 cases(46.8%) with favorable histology,and 82 cases(53.2%) with unfavorable histology.MYCN amplification was found in 20 cases (13.0%) and the signal ratio of MYCN and chromosome 2 (CEP2) was 4.08-43.29.One hundred and thirty-four cases of MYCN non-amplification included MYCN gain in 91 cases(68.0%) ,MYCN negative in 43 cases(32.0%).MYCN expression showed the significant differences in ages, neuroblastoma type, international neuroblastoma pathology classification (INPC), mitosis karyorrhexis index (MKI), and clinical stages (all P < 0.05).No significant difference was found in gender(P > 0.05).Of 20 MYCN amplification cases,4 cases (20.0%) survived and 16 cases (80.0%) died,and the overall survival rate was 20.0% (4/20 cases) ,with survival time was (17.10 ± 2.24) months;of 134 MYCN non-amplification cases,96 cases (71.6%) survived and 38 cases (28.4%) died, with survival time of (28.71 ± 1.28)months.Survival analysis showed the cases with MYCN amplification had worse prognosis (x2 =19.596, P < 0.05).Conclusions Patients with MYCN amplification had poorer prognosis and lower incidence of MYCN amplification of pediatric NT was found in China.
6.Establishment of management information system of acute schistosomiasis in Anhui Province

Objective To establish the management information system of acute schistosomiasis in order to make the information management more efficient in Anhui Province.Methods The information of acute schistosomiasis cases in Anhui Province from 2001 to 2006 was collected,and Visual Foxpro 6.0 was used to develop the management information system for acute schistosomiasis in Anhui Province.Results The endemic status and distribution of acute schistosomiasis were able to be more rapidly analyzed.The system,with a friendly interface,was operated easily.The endemic situation of acute schistosomiasis was reflected in precise and timely.Conclusion The management information system of acute schistosomiasis could offer the scientific evidence for acute schistosomiasis control in Anhui Province.
7.Study on the correlation between personality character and facial emotion cognition

Objective To explore the relationship between personality traits and facial emotion rec?ognition. Methods By opening recruitment,268 health undergraduates were measured using Eysenck Per?sonality Questionnaire and JACFEE facial emotion recognition test. Correlation analysis was administrated be?tween different gender,personality dimensions and facial emotion recognition ability. Results Female had better emotion recognition ability than male((44.18±5.83) vs (41.88±6.79), t=-2.976, P=0.003). There were significant differences among recognition frequency of no?expression picture to other basic facial emo?tions(χ2=37.877, P=0.004) . There were correlative relations between personality dimensions and facial e?motion recognition. Among choleric temperament personality,P dimension had negative correlation with fear emotion( r=-0.223, P=0.028). N dimension had negative correlation with fear emotion( r=-0.253, P=0.013) . Among sanguineous temperament personality,E dimension had negative correlation with contempt e?motion( r=-0.258, P=0.027) ,and P dimension had positive correlation with contempt emotion( r=-0.239, P=0.042).Among melancholic temperament,E dimension had positive correlation with fear emotion( r=0.283, P=0.023) ,and P dimension had positive correlation with amazing emotion( r=0.299, P=0.016) . A?mong phlegmatic temperament, there was no any correlation between personality dimension and emotion recognization. Conclusion Female has better emotion recognition ability than male. There is cognitive tend?ency between personality character and emotion recognition.
8.Reports of 5 cases of kidney transplantation from donors with severe hand-foot-mouth disease

Objective To investigate the clinical effect and safety of kidney transplantation from donors with severe hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD).Methods Five cases of kidney transplantation from three donors with HFMD between Jan.2014 and Dec.2016 were analyzed.The age of three donors was 2 years,2 years and one month,and 3 years and 11 months respectively,and body weight was 11 kg,10 kg and 15 kg respectively.The age of recipients ranged from 26 to 41 years and weight from 50 to 59 kg.Single kidney transplantations were performed on 4 cases,and dual separating kidney transplantation on one case.Results One case of the transplantations was failure due to the allograft artery thrombosis.The rest 4 cases gained satisfied clinical effect.None of the 5 cases showed any symptoms associated with HFMD.Conclusion The clinical effect of kidney transplantation from donors with severe HFMD is satisfactory.The organs from donors with severe HFMD could only be used by adult recipients.
9.Trend analysis of schistosomiasis endemic situation in Anhui Province from 2004 to 2014

Objective To analyze the changes of schistosomiasis endemic situation in Anhui Province from 2004 to 2014, so as to provide the evidence for formulating“The thirteenth five year”schistosomiasis control plan. Methods The information for schistosomiasis control and the data of the endemic surveillance of schistosomiasis were collected and analyzed for the chang?es of schistosomiasis endemic situation in Anhui Province from 2004 to 2014. Results The Oncomelania hupensis snail areas presented on a rising trend,and reached to the largest area with about 3.1 billon m2 in 2011. However,the snail areas decreased from 2012,and reduced by 10.55%in 2012 compared with the areas in 2011,and reduced to the lowest level in 2014 in recent 10 years. The density of living snails presented a fluctuation situation from 2004 to 2008,and on a decreasing trend from 2008, and the density of living snails was below 1 snail/0.1 m2 after 2011. The infection rate of snails remained stagnant state from 2004 to 2011,and decreased rapidly in 2012,and no schistosome infected snails were found in 2013 and 2014. The schistosome in?fection rate of residents decreased gradually,and the number of acute schistosomiasis was under 50 cases with scattered distribu?tion after 2006,and no acute cases occurred in 2013 and 2014. The infection rate of livestock was above 1%from 2004 to 2011, and reduced to 0.55%in 2012,and it was the first time that the infection rate of livestock was lower than that of residents in the same year in 2014. The progress for achieving the goal of schistosomiasis transmission control accelerated after 2011,and the number of counties that reached the standard of schistosomiasis transmission controlled from 2012 to 2014 was 4,9 and 14 and the number of townships was 33,76 and 32,respectively. Conclusion Schistosomiasis control has achieved remarkable effec?tiveness in Anhui Province,but there still exists hard work to consolidate the achievement and reach schistosomiasis transmis?sion interrupted.
10.Clinicopathological features of cystic lung diseases in children

Purpose To investigate the histopathological features of cystic lung diseases ( CLD) , and to discuss the timing of clinical interventions. Methods HE and immunohistochemical staining were performed and reviewed in 125 cases of CLD. Results 125 ca-ses of CLD aged from birth to 11 years and 6 month, with an average age of 23. 0 months, median age 15 months, of which 60 cases were less than 1 year (48. 0%). 75 cases were male and 50 cases female, with male to female ratio of 1. 5 ∶ 1. Grossly, 50 cases showed single or multiple cysts with the size 0. 5 ~8. 0 cm in diameter, which did not communicate with bronchial cavity. 18 cases showed honeycomb cysts with the diameter of 0. 1~2. 0 cm. 26 cases were solid lesions without visible cysts. 21 cases were observed lung abscess with thick and rough wall and pus inside. 7 cases of emphysema showed microcysts with crepitation. 2 cases were identi-fied cystic and solid masses, with fish-fresh like cut surface. Histopathologically, 94 cases (75. 2%) were related to congenital bron-chopulmonary dysplasia in 125 cases of CLD, in which there were 59 patients (47. 2%) of congenial pulmonary airway malformation (CPAM), including 29 cases of type 1 (49. 2%), 18 cases of type 2 (30. 5%), and 12 cases of type 4 (20. 3%), there were 26 ca-ses (20. 8%) of pulmonary sequestration, including 15 cases of intralobar type (57. 7%) and 11 of extralobar cases (42. 3%), 5 ca-ses were complicated with CPAM type 2, 8 cases were bronchial cyst (6. 4%) and 1 case of enteric cyst (0. 8%). Acquired lesions were detected in 31 cases (24. 8%), including 21 cases of infected lung abscess, 1 case of fungal abscess. 7 cases of emphysema, and 3 cases of pleuralpulmonary blastoma (typeⅠ1 case and typeⅡ2 cases). Conclusion Pediatric CLD is characterized as com-plexed categories. The prognosis depends on correct pathological diagnosis, combined with imaging evaluation and appropriate timing of surgery.
