1.Meta-analysis of the therapeutic effect of raltitrexed on advanced gastric cancer

Objective To summarize the research results at home and abroad of raltitrexed on the patients with advanced gastric cancer,and to evaluate the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of raltitrexed. Methods Clinical controlled trials of evaluating effects of raltitrexed on the advanced gastric cancer were searched in PubMed,EMBase,Ovid,Springer,Wanfang database,VIP database and China Biology Medicine disc. Besides,references and conference abstracts were searched manually. Literature screening and data extraction were performed according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Then Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 4. 2. Results Forty-four studies were found and 5 clinical controlled trails including 338 patients were included in this analysis. The results of Meta-analysis showed that there was a significant beneficial effect of raltitrexed on objective effective rate for the patients with advanced gastric cancer(RR = 1. 55,95% CI:1. 21-1. 99,Z = 3. 44,P = 0. 00)compared with other treatments. The incidences of Ⅲ-Ⅳadverse reactions in raltit-rexed group such as neutropenia(RR = 1. 97,95% CI:0. 85-4. 56,Z = 1. 59,P = 0. 11),thrombocytopenia (RR = 1. 56,95% CI:0. 60-4. 07,Z = 0. 92,P = 0. 36),anemia(RR = 2. 43,95% CI:0. 61-9. 78,Z =1. 25,P = 0. 21),arthralgia(RR = 3. 20,95% CI:0. 73-13. 98,Z = 1. 55,P = 0. 12),elevated transaminase (RR = 1. 37,95% CI:0. 29-6. 48,Z = 0. 39,P = 0. 69)were higher than those in other group,with no statis-tical significance. However,the adverse reactions in raltitrexed group such as diarrhea(RR = 0. 18,95% CI:0. 03-1. 07,Z = 1. 88,P = 0. 06),nausea and vomiting(Z = 1. 79,RR = 0. 45,95% CI:0. 19-1. 08,P =0. 07),neurotoxicity(RR = 0. 07,95% CI:0. 01-0. 52,Z = 2. 59,P = 0. 01),hand-foot syndrome(RR =0. 26,95% CI:0. 04-1. 59,Z = 1. 46,P = 0. 14),alopecia(RR = 0. 57,95% CI:0. 13-2. 55,Z = 0. 73, P = 0. 46)were lower than those in other group. There were no statistical significances except neurotoxicity. Conclusion Compared with other treatments,raltitrexed-based chemotherapy has a beneficial effect on objec-tive effective rate and less adverse reactions for the patients with advanced gastric cancer,which is worthy of clinical use.
2.Clinical regularities in acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of cancer pain in recent 30 years

Objective:To explore the clinical regularities in acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of cancer pain by reviewing the relevant studies published between 1985 and 2017.Methods:Based on the Chinese Medicine Acupuncture-moxibustion Information Database,quantitative analysis,correlation analysis and Chi-square test were applied to analyze the commonly used acupoints,meridian affiliations and body region distributions,commonly used methods and acupoint correlations,treatment method correlations,the efficacy of acupuncture-moxibustion plus the three-step analgesic ladder for cancer pain,and indicators.Results:Zusanli (ST 36),Ashi point and Sanyinjiao (SP 6) ranked the top on the list of frequency;points from Bladder Meridian of Foot Taiyang and Stomach Meridian of Foot Yangming were often used;points from the lower limbs and back had high frequencies.The most commonly used treatment method was acupuncture-moxibustion plus medication.Acupuncture-moxibustion plus the three-step analgesic ladder showed certain advantage compared with the two methods used separately,and among the integrated methods,acupoint application plus the three-step analgesic ladder produced the most significant efficacy.It took (44.77±55.54) min for the analgesic effect to act and the effect lasted for (12.81±14.59) h.Numerical rating scale (NRS),visual analog scale (VAS) and Karnofsky performance status (KPS) scores all showed significant changes after interventions (all P<0.01);there was no significant change in the score of quality of life (QOL) after interventions (P>0.05).Conclusion:Zusanli (ST 36),Ashi point and Sanyinjiao (SP 6) are commonly selected in acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of cancer pain;acupuncture and acupoint application are often used;acupuncture-moxibustion plus the three-step analgesic ladder can boost the treatment efficacy.
3.Fermentative technology of Soybean Isofiavone Glucoside Hydrolase-Producing Strain

A high active soybean isoflavone glucoside hydrolase-producing mould strain was isolated from spirit qu. Its optimal hydrolase-producing conditions were as follows: 2.5% wheat bran as carbon source, 1% NaNO3 as nitrogen source, initial pH7. 0, culture medium volume 40mL/250mL, inoculating quantity 8% , culture temperature 30℃, revolutions 160r/min and culture time 84h. The enzyme activity reached 82 U/mL. Cu2+ can inhibit Absidia sp. R strain from producing the hydrolase, the influence of other metal ions was not remarkable on it.
4.Regression analysis on influence factors of orthokeratology controlling juvenile myopia progression

?AlM:To explore the influence factors of orthokeratology controlling development of juvenile myopia.
?Methods: A retrospective analysis of 86 cases ( 169 eyes ) who performed orthokeratology from November 2012 to November 2013 in our hospital was carried out. Ater 2a treatment, diopter increased > -0. 25D as invalid control group (54 eyes), diopter increased ≤ -0. 25D as effective control group ( 115 eyes ) . The difference of various factors between two groups were compared.
?RESULTS: Univariate comparison showed that the two groups had no statistical significance (P>0. 05) in terms of gender, whether wear glasses in the past, anterior corneal diameter before treatment, central corneal thickness, intraocular pressure and anterior chamber depth. However, the two groups had statistical significance (P<0. 05) in the terms of age, dioptre before trement, corneal curvature, and axial length basis. Logistic regression analysis showed that foundation axial length, age and corneal curvature were in line with regression model ( P<0. 05 ), these were independent factors that orthokeratology lens control juvenile myopia development.
? CONCLUSlON: lndependent factors affecting orthokeratology control juvenile myopia development is foundation axial length, age and corneal curvature. For juvenile patients, the longer of foundation axial length, the longer the age, the greater the curvature of cornea, orthokeratology can better control the myopia’s development.
5.Clinical Analysis on 51 Cases of Children with Demyelinating Disease

Objective To study the clinical characteristics of children with demyelinating disease.Methods Age of onset,presymptoms,clinical manifestations and auxiliary examinations of 51 children diagnosed as demyelinating disease were analyzed retrospectively.Results The onset age was from 3 months to 14 years,and the number of school age children was 38.Before illness,32 cases were relevant to infection,3 cases to vaccine inoculation.Most of children had acute courses.In the initial stage,32 cases with peripheral nervous demyelinating disease presented to paralysis of limbs;18 cases with central nervous demyelinating disease presented to visual disorder,somatasthenia,fever,convulsion and headache.The EMGs of children with peripheral nervous demyelinating disease showed nervous lesion.Among 18 children with central nervous demyelinating disease,17 cases showed abnomal signal on MRI or CT.Conclusions Children with demyelinating disease displays diversified clinical manifestations.By investigating case history combined with auxiliary exaninations,it is not difficult to make a correct diagnosis and its prognosis is good commonly.

8.Fungus infection in immunocompromised rabbits:correlation of thin-section CT findings and histopathology

Objective To compare the thin-section CT findings of pulmonary candidiasis,aspergillosis and eryptococcosis wim histopathology in immunoeomprimised rabbits and impmve the diagnostic accuracy of fungus infection. Methods Heathy New Zealand white rabbits were used for immunoeompromised animal models.Thin-section CT scan was performed before and 2,4,6,8,10,12,14 d after inoculation.The pattern and distribution of the pulmonary abnormalities were retrospectively assessed by two thomeic radiologists and compared with histopathology.The granulocyte count was compared before and after administration of immunosuppressive agents.The pmred t test,chi square test and the Fisher's exact test were used for the statistics.Results Fourteen rabbits had candidiasis.16 rabbits had cryptocoecosis,15 rabbits had aspergillosis.The granulocyte counts before and after administration of immunosuppressive agents were(2.91±0.92)and(0.35±0.19)×109/L respectively in eandidiasis group,there was a significant difference(t=12.484,P<0.05);(2.51±0.82)and(0.76±0.71)×109/L in aspergillosis group,there was a significant difference(t=5.792,P<0.05);(2.10±0.65)and (0.48±0.22)×109/L in cryptococcosis group,there was a significant difference(t=8.199,P<0.05).The onaet time of infections on CT were not significantly different in three groups (P>0.05).Ground glass opacity (GGO) and consolidation were the two most colnlnon findings in immunocompromised rabbits with three fungus infections,areas of GGO was correlated with the congestion,hemorrhage,inflammatory cell infiltration and interstitial hyperplasia in pathology. Consolidation was correlated with the severe congestion,hemorrhage, inflammatory cell infiltration, interstitial hyperplasia, necrosis and vascular embolism in pathology. Conclusion GGO and consolidation are the two most common findings of fungus infections in immunocompromised animal models and thin-section CT findings can reflect the pathological changes.
9.The effect of HIFU combined with nanoscale ultrasound molecular probes with simple virus thymidine kinase gene on angiogenesis in the nude mouse tumor

Objective To observe the change of the protein and gene expression of hypoxia inducing factor-1α(HIF-1a) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in the nude mouse tumor,which has been treated by HIFU combined with nanoscale ultrasound molecular probes with HSV1-TK gene microvascular density.Methods Sixty nude mice were implanted with HepG2 Cells to establish subcutaneous transplanted tumor.Divided this mice into six groups at random after treated by HIFU:MB+ HSV-TK+ GPC3 (group A),MB + HSV-TK (group B),HSV-TK +GPC3 (group C),HSV-TK (group D),MB + GPC3 (group E),PBS (group F).They were injected into the tail vein every after 3 days.Mice in group A,B,D and E were exposed to ultrasound by 2 W/cm2,1 MHz,5 mintues and 0.2 mL ganciclovi(GCV) was intraperitoneally injected at the first 48 hours after injection.After the treatment,immunohistoche were used to detect the microvascular density(MVD),Western blot and immunohistoche was employed to test the protein change of the VEGF and HIF-1α,Q-PCR was used to test the mRNA gene transcription of VEGF and HIF-1α in the tumor tissues.Results After 14 days,the protein expression of HIF-1α and VEGF in group A was significantly lower than that in group B,C,D,E and F (P<0.05),the MVD level in the tumor is also like this,and the difference is statistically significant.Conclusion Anoscale ultrasound molecular probes with HSV1-TK can reduce the the level of VEGF,MVD and HIF-1α in the tumor which has been treated by HIFU,so it can inhibit tumor growth and improve the therapeutic efficacy after HIFU treatment.
10.Research on bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis

Objective To investigate the mechanism of acute inflammatory response and tissue repair when rats accepted transplanted bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) in severe acute pancreatitis (SAP).Methods A total of 40 rats were randomly divided into 4 groups which included the normal group (n=10),the model severe acute pancreatitis group (n=10),the transplanted bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells group (n =10),and the combination of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) group (n=10).To cure the acute severe pancreatic injury caused by SAP,rats were injected with EDU-labeled MSCs and granulocyte colonystimulating factor (Gr-CSF).The conversion rate of MSCs to pancreatic cells or MSCs to endothelial cells was detected to assess the role of MSCs in tissue regeneration and repair.The expression of amylase,interleukin-6 (IL-6),and interleukin-10 (IL-10) in serum was detected to assess the role of MSCs in an acute inflammatory response.Results The concentrations of amylase and IL-6 were reduced and the concentration of IL-10 was increased in MSC and MSC+G-CSF groups after the onset of SAP.Flow cytometry showed a small amount of MSCs converting to endothelial or pancreatic cells,but the conversion rate was relatively low.Conclusions MSCs can play an important role in the antipre-release of inflammatory mediators,reducing acute immune response to control the acute inflammatory response in SAP.Moreover,MSCs can repair a damaged pancreas by converting into both pancreatic and endothelial cells.
