Objective To observe the student's endocrine metabolism in senior high school during different periods.Methods 328 senior middle school students in different periods were investigated and the blood concentration of adrenaline(N),norepinephrine(NE),cortisol(CS),interleukin-2(IL-2),interleukin-6(IL-6)were measured by radioimmunoassay and Magnetic Solid Phase Separation-Enzyme Immunoassay,and at the same time,students in vocational high school were contrasted.Results As the university entrance examination was coming,the values of N,NE and CS were apparently rising,while the values of IL-2 and IL-6 were going down.The biodifferences.Grade Two and Grade One(t=1.96～2.52,P＜0.05).Grade Two and the control(t=3.53～4.20,P＜0.01)were different significantly,while Grade one and the control had no obvsious difference(t=1.18～1.92,P＞0.05).Conclusion N,NE,CS of the senior hish school students in Grade Three were higher,while IL-2and IL-6 were lower than that of the Grade Two.

OBJECTIVE:To study the in vitro and in vivo bacteriostatic actions of Ganmaoreduqing oral liquid(GMRDQ) METHODS:The bacteriostatic actions of GMRDQ were observed with conventional in vitro and in vivo tests RESULTS:GMRDQ could significantly inhibit Staphylococcus aureus,?-hemolytic streptococcus,?-hemolytic streptococcus,Streptococcus pneumoniae and Hemophilus influenzae and it could protect mice from death induced by intraperitoneal injection of S aureus CONCLUSION:GMRDQ has in vitro and in vivo bacteriostatic actions

Objective: To comprehensively compare the qualities of Codonopsis Radix from the different planting areas for regionalizing the planting areas. Methods: The main traits and chemical compositions of 38 samples of Codonopsis Radix from the different planting areas in Jiuzhaigou County were comprehensively compared by SPSS 17.0 software using principal component and cluster analysis. Results: Five principal components whose accumulated variance contribution rate was over 85.604% were obtained. Based on these principal components, 38 samples of Codonopsis Radix from the different planting areas in Jiuzhaigou County were clustered into four groups by within-groups linkage cluster methods. Conclusion: Principal component and cluster analysis are reliable to comprehensively evaluate the quality of Codonopsis Radix. Significant differences among these samples from the different planting areas in Jiuzhaigou County are obvious. The standardization of cultivation techniques and application should be speeded up.

Objective To develop an alignment technique based on the movement of body gravity center. Methods As join forces in the system of balance is zero, the position of body gravity center can be calculated by body gravity which is taken from weight sensors, by the special software. Meanwhile, the position of body gravity will be sent to control unit, which can be transformed to driving signal of motor. The sliding table with laser, linked to motor, can make pursuit movement following with body gravity. A precise alignment can be made as the movement of body gravity. The balance function test is also used to make an assistant estimate for the alignment. Results and Conclusion An alignment technique has been developed for the fit of prosthesis and orthotics.

Objective To investigate the auditory condition in adults with hearing-impairment and evaluate the outcome of the hearing aid. Methods The threshold of air-bone-conduction audiometry and binaural hearing aid in 91 adults were determined with pure tone audiometry,and their satisfaction to hearing aids were investigated with free interview. Results The threshold of hearing and hearing aid were positively correlated. The satisfaction did not significantly correlate with the threshold of hearing aid, but with the time of deprivation of hearing. The hearing threshold classification was better in the patients with the audiogram of flat, raising, slow down type than with audiogram of Shu type, which defined as hearing reacted only in 1 or 2 frequency. Conclusion It is important to improve the primary otology protection, as well as the rehabilitation from the hearing aids.

Objective To observe and analyze the correlation between the DNA methyltransferase-3B (DNMT3B) gene single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) rs 1569686 and the susceptibility to colorectal cancer (CRC) in Tianjin Han population.Methods A case-control study was performed.89 CRC patients and 94 normal controls were examined,and Sequenom MassArray system was applied to detect the genotype of rs1569686 in DNMT3B gene polymorphisms.The association results were analyzed of the SNP and CRC.Results The frequencies of genotypes TT,GT and GG at SNP rs1569686 were 74.2％,24.7％ and 1.1％ in CRC patients respectively,which there were no significant differences from that in controls(73.4％,23.4％ and 3.2％; P＞0.05).Conclusion It suggests that the SNP rs1569686 of DNMT3B gene may not be related to susceptibility of CRC in Tianjin Han population.

To explore the relativity between alexithymia and cognitive function in somatoform disorder patients.A total of 40 patients aged 18-65 years fulfilling the criteria of ICD-10 for somatoform disorders were recruited as research group.And 40 normal healthy subjects were selected as control group.Toronto alexithymia scale-20 (TAS-20) was employed to examine the alexithymia.And cognitive abilities screening instrument (CASI) was used to measure their cognitive ability.The 9-factor scores and total score of CASI test in patients with somatoforill disorder were significantly lower than those in the normal controls (P ＜ 0.05 or ＜ 0.01).The 3-factor scores and total score of TAS-20 test in patients withsomatoforill disorder were significantly higher than those in the normal controls (P ＜ 0.05 or ＜ 0.01).In research group,CASI scores were negatively correlated with the TAS-20 scores (P ＜0.05 or 0.01).

Objective To observe effect mechanism of L-arginine (L-arg,a precurory substance of nitric oxide sythesis) in proveting proteinuria in adriamycin-induced nephrosis model of rats.Methods Nephrosis model of 16 rats was established by tail vein injetion with adriamycin,then the 16 rats were divided into two groups;model group and treatment group with L-arg administration (treated group),the levels of nitric oxide(NO),endothelin-1(ET-1),renal function,and pathological changes were observed in the two groups.Results The successful nephrosis model of rats was indentified with optical and electron microscope technique.Proteinuria was occurred in the two groups,but proteinuria degree in treated group was lighter than those of model group,however NO level was higher than that of model group,there was negatively correlation in the levels of NO and ET-1 between both groups,pathological alteration under electron microscope observation was obviously less in the treatment group than those of the model group.Conclusions On basis of these findings,author consider that the L-arg could reduce proteinuria output by promoting NO synthesis and suppress the ET-1 production.

The high input and long cycle that is essential to becoming a high-caliber doctor constitute the high costs of the medical profession; high technology, high responsibility and high sacrifices constitute the high risks of the medical profession; the contrast between the input of high intelligence, high academic degree, and high expertise and the output of low economic income tends to warp the minds of doctors. The inversion of the burden of proof in medical lawsuits has practically put doctors on the weak side. Their rights and interests as well as their practice circumstances have been disregarded. Objective To investigate the feasibility and effectiveness of laparoscopic extraperitoneal inguinal hernia repair with low-pressure pneumoperitoneum without using stapling devices.Methods A total of 38 patients with reducible inguinal hernia underwent laparoscopic extraperitoneal inguinal hernia repair in our hospital from January 2006 to February 2007.Three abdominal trocars were introduced into the extraperitoneal cavity.An 11-mm trocar was placed at the lower border of the umbilicus,and the other two sized 5.5 mm were at the upper and lower 1/3 of the line between the umbilicus and the pubic symphysis,respectively.Then,low-pressure(6-8 mm Hg) CO2 was insufflated into the extraperitoneal cavity.Non-traumatic forceps was used to create an operative space from the hilum to the pubic symphysis and the diseased inguinal area.The hernia sac and the fabrics around it were disconnected.For big hernia sacs,the sac was ligated,cut at the cervix,and then left at its original site.While for small hernia sacs,it was dissociated and put back into the abdominal cavity.Afterwards,a patch sized 12 cm ? 15 cm was placed into the cavity,stretched,and attached to the abdominal wall,covering the annulus inguinalis profundus,Hesselbach triangle,and the femoral ring,without using stapling devices.After the operation,the patients received sandbag compression at the operative area and were kept in bed with urethral catheter for 24 hours. Results The operation was successfully accomplished in all the 38 cases without conversion to open surgery.The operation time was 45-85 min(mean,56 min).The intraoperative blood loss was 5-10 ml.After the operation,seroma occurred in 4 cases,and perforation in 2.No subcutaneous emphysema,hypercapnia,intestinal injury,neuralgia,or hemorrhage was found.The patients were followed up for 6 to 19 months(mean,10.5 months),and no recurrence occurred.Conclusions It is feasible to use laparoscopic extraperitoneal inguinal hernia repair with low-pressure pneumoperitoneum without using stapling devices.The method is associated with few complications and confirmed efficacy.
