3.Soybean Isoflovone and Microbes
Microbiology 1992;0(05):-
Soybean isoflovone has been found to perform important biologi ca l functions in soybean products. Microbes can transform the soybean isoflavone from low active form to high active form, and further to inactive metabolites. This is helpful to preserve the active components during intake or production of the soybean healthy foods.

Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 1988;0(01):-
Objective To understand the gene characteristics of envelope region of human T lymphotropic virus type Ⅰ(HTLV Ⅰ)from Shantou region of China. Methods The gene of proviral envelope region of HTLV Ⅰ Shantou strain (named HTLV Ⅰ WHP)was amplified by PCR,using 4 designed primers, and then was sequenced, meanwhile it was compared with that of various HTLV Ⅰ representative strains from all around the world, and subsequently it was analyzed to construct its phylogenetic tree. Results The nucleotide sequence of complete envelope region of HTLV Ⅰ WHP provirus we have obtained was 1466 bp.There no deletion and insertion in the deducted amino acid sequence. The results of phylogenetic tree analysis showed that the HTLV Ⅰ WHP strain was most closed to some of the strains from Japan and Caribbean, and like the latter, belonged to the subtypea of cosmopolitan group. Conclusion The HTLV Ⅰ strains either from the coastal region of Southeast China or from Japan,Caribbean and so on have the common origin of evolution.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2008;24(3):297-298
In this study, the effects of blood glucose and blood pressure on the compliance of large and small arteries were investigated. The results showed that arterial compliances of both large and small arteries were decreased in patients with diabetes mellitus. In non-diabetic patients with well controlled blood pressure, the compliance of small arteries was markedly improved. These results suggested that both blood glucose and blood pressure affected arterial compliance.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2017;37(2):212-217
Objective · To observe the vascular structure before autogenous arteriovenous fistula (AVF) construction in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and analyze the risk factors of the pre-existing venous neointimal hyperplasia. Methods · The 8 vein samples were screened from 20 ESRD patients at their first time of the AVF construction (non-stenosis group), and the other 8 vein samples were screened from 15 ESRD patients at their at least second time of the AVF repair operation (stenosis group). Sections were prepared and stained with hematoxylin & eosin (H-E) or Masson's trichrome for observation. The intimal thickness was measured by the cellSens software, and its correlation with patients' renal function, calcium-phosphorus metabolism, iron metabolism and inflammatory reaction in the non-stenosis group were analyzed. Results · In the non-stenosis group, there were varying degrees of intimal hyperplasia in 5 (62.5%) cases, loss of endothelial cell layer in 3 (37.5%) cases, and vascular wall replacement by collagenous with atrophy or loss of muscle layer in 5 (62.5%) cases. In the stenosis group, almost all vein samples showed general thickening of the wall and 2 (25.0%) totally lost the muscle layer. Avg It of those two groups were statistically significant (P<0.01). In the non-stenosis group, both of average I/M thickness and average I/M area were negatively related to glomerular filtration rate (GFR) (P<0.05) and positively related to serum phosphorus and calcium-phosphorus product (P<0.05). Conclusion · Some apparently normal vein of ESRD patients showed varying degrees of intimal hyperplasia before AVF construction. The intimal hyperplasia had a remarkable correlation with GFR or calcium-phosphorus metabolism. Early intervention of the intimal hyperplasia prior to AVF construction may be a new prevention and control means.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2016;22(8):968-972
Objective To study the correlation between the mental health of family members of patients with schizophrenia and their coping style. Methods From December, 2014 to January, 2015, a total of 312 family members of patients with schizophrenia in 5 blocks were included. They were surveyed with self-made questionnaire, Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS), Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire. The results were compared with the national normal model, and the correlation between SDS, SAS and the coping style was also analyzed. Results Compared with the normal model, the SDS (t=34.39, P<0.001), SAS (t=73.09, P<0.001) scores were higher in schizophrenia families, and they used positive coping style (n=128, 41%) less (t=-16.70, P<0.001), and more often used negative coping style (n=184, 59%) (t=-66.24, P<0.001). The SDS (r=-0.14, P<0.05), SAS (r=-0.15, P=0.01) scores were negatively correlated with positive coping style, the SAS score was positively correlated with negative coping style (r=0.27, P<0.001). Multivariate Lo-gistic regression analysis showed that women were prone to be anxiety and depressed compared with men (P<0.05); the divorcees were prone to be depressed compared with thoses not divorced. Education level and average monthly household income were factors influencing their coping style (P<0.05). Conclusion The mental health of family members of patients with schizophrenia is not optimistic, the female family members are more likely to be depressed and anxious than males. People with low education level and poor economic conditions more often use negative coping style, which need to be focused on, and to take appropriate and effective intervention.
