1.Effects of nursing intervention in rebleed after endoscopic varix ligation
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2010;35(1):149-151
Objective: To discuss the effects of nursing intervention in the rebleed rate of the cirrhosis patients after endoscopic esophageal varix ligation.Methods:60 cirrhosis patients with endoscopic esophageal varix ligation were randomly divided into intervention(n=30)and control group(n=30).Both groups received usual care and the intervention group did additional nursing intervention as psychological nursing health education relaxation training, effective coping strategy, familial and social support system.Resets:The rebleed rate was significantly lower.the time of hospital stay shorter and the hospital expense less in the intervention than in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:The nursing intervention in the patients with endoscopic esophageal varix ligation can obviously decrease the rebleed rate, abate reduce their economic burden and improve their quality of life.
2.Application of reflective teaching in medical nursing education
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(03):-
Introduction ofthe reflective approach improves the teachingqualityoflecturers by way of reflecting on their teaching idea, design and mode, and promotes the learning of students by way of inspiring discussion,PBL and health instruction practice.
3.Application of the health promotion theory in community health service
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(03):-
Health promotion constitutes an important part of community healthcare service. The authors gave a detailed account of the basic concepts and rationale of health promotion and analyzed its difference from disease prevention, pointing out that factors affecting individuals acceptance of suggested healthy conducts included individual cognition, modifying factor and viability of the conducts. At the same time, the authors, using the health promotion theory, made a detailed analysis of responses to a mammary gland screening among senior and middle aged community women. They argued that the health level of the whole population could be promoted and the mortality rate of malignant tumors lowered through helping individuals in understanding their disease, making use of the influence of external factors like the mass media, and proving convenient and good medical services.
4.Acute myeloid leukemia treatment in the elderly patients
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2009;18(6):379-382
The outcome of the elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) has not improved in the last three decades. Their clinical features limit the ability to tolerate intensive cytotoxic chemotherapy and result in greater early mortality. The AML seen in elderly patients is also more likely to have greater resistance to therapy. Attempts to improve outcome have generally been unsuccessful But further manipulation of standard cytotoxic chemotherapy alone is unlikely to improve the outcome for the majority of patients with AML.
5.The biological character of rhEPO and its effect on cell proliferation
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2008;17(4):309-312
Along with the appearance and clinical use of rhEPO,a new approach has improved the treatment to tumor associated annemia. At present the clinical research confirmed the security and effectiveness of treating tumor related anaemia, but the effect of rhEPO Was not awgre of the generation of tumor cells. It effecls the treatable value of rhEPO on tumor related anaemia. So the effect of rhEPO on tumor associated anaemia has received great attention.
6.Research on ereythropoietin and its receptor in anemia of neoplasm
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2008;17(3):231-233
The anemia of chronic disease is chronic infection, inflammation, a class of cancer-related anemia syndrome, anemia in patients with malignant tumors often. In recent years recombinant human erythropoietin, widely used in clinical treatment of anemia, Especially in cancer-related anemia treatment achieved remarkable results, a blood transfusion to avoid the many adverse effects and improve the patient' s quality of life. A control chemotherapy-induced anemia is an important choice. Therefore, rhEPO on cancer-related anemia treatment mechanism has also become a research hotspot.
8.Effects of Individualized Enteral Nutritional Support on Nutritional Status and Complications in Severe Stroke Patients
China Pharmacist 2017;20(7):1265-1267
Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect of individualized enteral nutritional (EN) support in severe stroke patients. Methods: Totally 120 severe stroke patients with nutritional risk were divided into two groups according to single or double admission number. The 60 patients in the intervention group received an individualized EN with different formula and concentrations according to the clinical status, and supplemented trace elements as occasion required. In the routine group, the patients received EN with standard formula. The energy supply was 83-125 kJ· kg-1·d-1 in both groups.Blood albumin(Alb), pre-albumin(PA), hemoglobin(Hb) and vitamin C(VC) were examined before and after the 21-day nutritional support. The lung infection and gastrointestinal (GI) complications were observed, and the hospital stay and cost were recorded as well. Results: After 21 day''s nutrition support, the serum levels of Alb, PA and VC in the intervention group were not statisticly significant than before (P>0.05), and the serum levels of Alb, PA and VC were significantly higher than those in the routine group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the in the intervention group was lower than that in the routine group (P<0.05), and the length of hospital stay and hospitalization was shorter than that in the routine group (P<0.05).Conclusion: Individualized enteral nutritional support can significantly improve nutritional status, reduce inflammation reactions and GI complications in severe stroke patients, which is worthy of clinical use.
9.On how to construct student-centered medical English teaching mode
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(07):-
Medical English teaching plays an important part in medical college, but due to various factors of constraints, medical English teaching is still in the traditional"teacher-centered" teaching mode. The authors have carried out some research and exploration on how to construct the "student-centered" teaching mode in medical English teaching based on their own practice, and made some positive comments and suggestions.
10.The Effect of Pravastatin on Impaired Endothelium-dependent Relaxation of Isolated Rabbit Aortic Rings Induced by Homocysteine
Journal of Chinese Physician 2000;0(12):-
Objective To explore whether pravastatin protects endothelium against the damage induced by homocysteine (Hcy) in isolated rabbit aorta. Methods Endothelium-dependent relaxation responses to acetylcholine (ACh) of thoracic aortic rings were measured by isometric tension recording before and after aortic rings exposed to Hcy in the absence or presence of pravastatin (PT) to estimate the injury effect of Hcy and the protective effect of pravatatin on rabbit aortic endothelium, respectively. Results Incubation of aortic rings with 1~10mmol/L Hcy for 30min significantly inhibited endothelium-dependent relaxation response to ACh of aortic rings in a concentration-dependent manner. Pre-incubation of aortic rings with 0.3~3mmol/L PT for 15min and co-incubation of aortic rings with 3mmol/L Hcy for another 30min markedly attenuated the inhibition of endothelium-dependent relaxation induced by Hcy in a concentration-dependent manner. Conclusion Pravastatin can improve the impairment of endothelium-dependent relaxation induced by Hcy in isolated rabbit aorta.
