Effects of endomorphin-1 (EM-1) and endomorphin-2 (EM-2) on synaptic transmission were investigated on neurons in substantia gelatinosa (SG) of the spinal dorsal horn by whole-cell voltage clamp recording. Both EM-1 (1 μmol/L) and EM-2 (1 μmol/L)remarkably reduced the frequency but not the amplitude of miniature excitatory postsynaptic currents (mEPSCs) and miniature inhibitory postsynaptic currents (mIPSCs). These effects were antagonized by 3-funaltrexamine ( β-FNA, 10 μmol/L), a selective μ-opioid receptor antagonist. Noticeably, EM-1 showed higher potency in decreasing the frequency of mEPSCs and mIPSCs than that of EM-2. These results indicate that EMs suppress both excitatory and inhibitory synaptic transmission by activating presynaptic μ-opioid receptors in the SG and EM-1, compared with EM-2, might be a more potent endogenous analgesic at the spinal cord level.

Results: After the implementation of the new management strategy, medical equipment archives management and new financial system in our hospital realize synchronous in January 1, 2012, thethree Zhang cardsystem optimizing, and the results have been applied to the existing hospital medical equipment management software, greatly improving the efficiency of management, provides a strong basis for medical equipment economic benefit and social benefit evaluation. Objective To study the cardiac function effect of allopurinol for hypemricemia combined with dilated cardiomyopathy patients.Methods One hundred and twenty hypemricemia combined with dilated cardiomyopathy patients were divided into allopurinol group and control group according to the treatment method with 60 cases each.All the patients were given conventional treatment,the control group was added the nitroprusside treatment,and the allopurinol group was added the allopurinol and nitroprusside treatment.The treatment period was 3 months.Results The total effective rate in allopurinol group was significantly higher than that in control group [90.0％ (54/60) vs.75.0％ (45/60)],there was statistical difference (P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,the left ventricular ejection fraction and left ventricular posterior wall thickness at end-systole in allopurinol group were significantly higher than those in control group [(67.85 ± 7.12)％ vs.(30.78 ±7.00)％ and (1.40 ±0.20) mm vs.(1.16 ±0.18) mm[,but the left ventricular internal diameter at end-systole,left ventricular internal diameter at end-diastole and left ventricular posterior wall thickness at end-diastole were significantly lower than those in control group [(4.72 ± 0.41) mm vs.(6.48 ± 0.47) mm,(2.93 ± 0.32) mm vs.(5.56 ± 0.62) mm and (0.77 ± 0.13) mm vs.(0.92 ± 0.18) mm],there were statistical differences (P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,The uric acid,urea nitrogen and creatinine were significantly lower than those in control group [(45.43 ± 11.24) μ mol/L vs.(167.23 ± 19.22) μ mol/L,(10.23 ± 7.12)mmol/L vs.(40.93 ± 8.09)mmol/L and (32.01 ± 8.34) mmol/L vs.(78.09 ±9.11) mmol/L],there were statistical differences (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Allopurinol used for treating hyperuricemia combined with dilated cardiomyopathy patients can reduce uric acid,early reversal the atherosclerosis and improve heart function,it should be widely applied research.

Objective To discuss perioperative rehabilitative care for flexor tendon injuries by examples of successful treatment of 30 cases of rupture of flexor tendon pollicis longus at ZoneⅡ.Methods From March 2001 to March 2006,30 cases of rupture of flexor tendon pollicis longus at ZoneⅡwere treated in our department by suture with double loops and crossing six strands before external fixation.Patients were encouraged to do rehabilitation exer- cises for functional recovery under the guidance and supervision of orthopaedists.Results All the patients were followed up for 6 to 16 weeks (mean,8 weeks).According to TAM (Total Active Motion) criteria,12 cases were rated as excellent,10 cases as good,6 cases as fair,and 2 cases as poor.The excellent to good rate was 73.3%.The 22 excellent and good cases could perform daily-life activities with affected fingers,such as writing,holding chopsticks and doing and undoing buttons.No patient experienced rerupture.Conclusion In perioperative rehabilitative care for rupture of flexor tendon pollicis longus at ZoneⅡ,it is important to have correct diagnosis,noninvasive and secure suture,safe external fixation and functional exercises under the guidance of orthopaedists.

Objective: To observe the expression of urokinase-type plasminogen activator receptor (uPAR) in human tongue squamous cell carcinoma Tca 8113 cells at different dosages of heat shock. Methods:The expression of uPAR protein in Tca 8113 cells was examined using immunohistochemical technique (IH) and flow cytometry (FCM) after the cells had been treated at 37,40,43 or 45 ℃ for 40 min. Results:The fluorescent intensity of uPAR protein of Tca 8113 cells treated at 37,40,43 and 45 ℃ was 11.36?0.06,9.98?0.12, 10.37?0.05 and 11.31?0.10 respectively.Conclusion:Heat shock can reduce the expression of the uPAR protein of Tca 8113 cells.

Objective:To study the differences of gene expression between Tca8113 and Tca8113/CBP tissues in nude mice. Methods:Tca8113 cells were injected subcutaneously in both sides of armpits of nude mice at the concentration of 5?106 cells/0.1 ml. Two weeks after injection, Carboplatin was used subcutaneously around the tumor 0.01 mg/g (weight) each day in Tca8113/CBP group while Tca8113 group was injected with physiologic saline as control. Mice were sacrificed 10 weeks after drug injection. The two kinds of tissues were investigated by human 16k cDNA v2.1 SBC-R-HC-100-21 gene chip. Results:Among the 16 000 target genes, there were 719 genes whose expression levels showed differences between the two kinds of tumor tissues. Conclusion:Microarray technique can simultaneously screen different genes from above-mentioned two kinds of tissues. Further analysis of the obtained genes will be helpful to understand the molecular mechanism of multidrug resistance.

Objective To investigate the effect of postoperative complications to the aged after total hip replacement.Methods According to hospitalization order,120 patients undergoing total hip replacement operation were assigned into the intervention group and the control group with 60 patients in each group.In the intervention group,the patients received comprehensive intervention of diet nursing,psychological nursing,complication prevention and rehabilitation exercise.The control group received usual care.Then duration of hospital stay,incidence of complication,psychological state and compliance with functional exercises were compared between two groups.Results In the intervention group,the hospitalization time was shorter,the incidence rate of complication was lower,and psychological state and compliance with functional exercises were better than the control group.Conclusions The comprehensive intervention can reduce the incidence rate of complication,shorten hospitalization time,raise quality of care and facilitate recovery of patients.

Objective To study the effect of thermo-radiotherapy on multidrug resistance (MDR) and levels of intracellular adriamycin (ADM) in tongue squamous cell carcinoma cell line Tca 8113 and its MDR cell line Tca 8113/CBDEA. Methods Samples of the two cell lines were treated with thermo-radiotherapy (42℃ for 0.5 h and 2 Gy of radiation). Four and 24 hours later, the expression of the MDR relative proteins P-glycoprotein (P-gp),multidrug resistance associate protein 1 (MRP1) and glutathione s-tranferase-π (GST-π) were detected using immu-nohistochemistry. Intracellular ADM concentrations were measured using an HTS 7000 Plus bioassay reader. Re-sults No change in the expression of P-gp was observed in the Tca 8113/CBDEA and Tca 8113 cell lines after 4 or 24 hours. Expression of MRP1 was not significantly altered in the Tca 8113/CBDEA cell line, but there was a signifi-cant drop in the Tca 8113 cell line 24 hours post-thermo-radiotherapy. Expression of GST-π was not altered in either the Tca 8113/CBDEA or the Tca 8113 cell line at 4 hours post-thermo-radiotherapy, but there was a significant de-crease at 24 hours. At both 4 and 24 hours, drug tolerance had decreased and intracellular drug concentration had in-creased significantly in both cell lines. Conclusions Thermo-radiotherapy can enhance the effects of chemotherapy and suppress the expression of MDR factors induced by radiation. The combination of hyperthermia and radiotherapy does not induce MDR.
