Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy 2009;26(1):11-14
Objective To evaluat the endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of duodenal varices. Methods Twenty-six cases of duodenal varices detected by endoscopy from a total of 93 283 patients from November 2000 to August 2008.were classified according to the location, diameter and risk factor(LDRf)of the varices. The patients were treated according to the classification and followed. Results The duodenal variees were classified as Ldl(5,19.2%),Ld1,2(2,7.7%)and Ld2(19,73.1%);D0(0),D0.3(2),D1(10),D2(13)and D3(1);Rf0(23),Rf1(0)and Rf2(3).Of 26 patients,18 were accompanied with esophageal and (or)gastric fundic varicosis.Hepatitis B-related cirrhosis occurred in 9 of 17 hospitalized cases,of which 3 cases of Rf,were treated with endoscopic procedures.Histoacry injection was performed in 1 patient ofcase of Ld2D1Rf2.The patients were followed up for 14.6 months on average.Duodenal varieesis in 3 patients vanished in 1.0-3.5 months after the treatment, and there was no recurrence.Ofthose patients who did not receive endoscopic treatment,11 were followed up,and no varices bleeding was found. Two patients died of other reasons. Conclusion LDPd classification can reflect endoscopic features of duodenal varieosis, and it is safe and feasible to choose therapy according to LDRf classification.
2.Molecular Mechanism of Glycoprotein-induced Cell-Cell Fusion of Herpesviruses.
Chinese Journal of Virology 2016;32(1):101-107
Herpesviridae is a large family comprising linear, double-stranded DNA viruses. Herpesviridae contains three subfamilies: α-, β- and γ-herpesviruses. The glycoproteins gB, gH and gL of each subfamily form the "core fusion function" in cell-cell fusion. Other herpesviruses also need additional glycoproteins to promote fusion, such as gD of the Herpes simplex virus, gp42 of the Epstein-Barr virus, and gO or UL128-131 of the Human cytomegalovirus. In contrast, glycoproteins gM or gM/gN of herpesvirus inhibit fusion. We describe the molecular mechanisms of glycoprotein-induced fusion and entry of herpesviruses. It will be helpful to further study the pathogenic mechanism of herpesvirus.

3.Development of a classification system for gastroesophageal varices according to its location, diameter and risk of bleeding
Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy 2008;25(10):507-511
Objective To evaluate the feasibility of developing a novel classification system for gastroesophageal variees according to its location(L), diameter(D) and risk of bleeding(R). Methods The data of 381 patients with gastroesophageal varices, who underwent emergency endoscopy because of variceal bleeding, were retrospectively analyzed. The varices were classified into different types according to their location, diameter and risk of bleeding (LDRf). Results Bleeding was most common in varices located at middle and lower part of the esophagus, and red sign on varices was a risk factor of bleeding. All varices could be classified into one certain type according to LDRf. Of 293 cases of esophageal varices, 133 (45.4%) were Rf1 and 160 (54. 6% ) were Rf2 ; of 88 cases of gastric varices, 47 (53.4%) were Rf1 and 41 (46. 6% ) were Rf2. Condusion The LDRf classification system is feasible in gastroesophageal varices.
4.Treatment of sympathetic cervical spondylosis
Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(11):-
According to the recent years’ review of international and domestic relating journals and collections, the conception, mechanism, and treatment of sympathetic cervical spondylosis are summarized. All authors have agreed that posterior cervical nerve syndrome proposed by Barre-Lieou and addressed in this paper, whose mechanism mainly is cervical vertebral degeneration stimulus, or oppression upon sympathetic nervous fiber, or spasm of vertebral artery, is generally treated by non-operative methods and cautious operative methods. The main cause of sympathetic cervical spondylosis is cervical vertebral instability, which stimulates sympathetic nervous fiber to make vertebral artery to convulse. And its treatment is mainly conservative treatment and supplementary operation. But it is usually subject to reoccurrence. Operative methods include cervical disk excision, cervical inter-body fusion and bone grafting and inner fixation, instable factor elimination. But eligible condition is relatively short.

6.Cryptotanshinone effects on the proliferation and apoptosis of renal carcinoma stem cells
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(1):49-54
Abstract BACKGROUND:Previous studies have found that cryptotanshinone represses multiple tumors, but little is reported on its effect on renal carcinoma. OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of cryptotanshinone on the proliferation and apoptosis of the renal carcinoma stem cels. METHODS:CD133+ renal carcinoma stem cels were separated from OS-RC-2 cels by immunomagnetic bead separation. Effects of 0, 0.2, 1, 5 mg/L cryptotanshinone on the proliferation and apoptosis of CD133+ renal carcinoma stem cels were detected by MTT and flow cytometry, respectively. Expression levels of Ki67, Bcl-2, Caspase-3 and p-Caspase-3 protein were detected by western blot assay. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After magnetic cel sorting, the percentage of CD133+ cels was increased from 6.32% to 82.73%, and there was a significant difference before and after cel sorting (P < 0.001). Cryptotanshinone could repress the proliferation of CD133+ renal carcinoma stem cels and promote cel apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner. The protein expression levels of Ki67 and Bcl-2 in the 5 mg/L cryptotanshinone group were significantly decreased compared with the control group, while the protein expression level of p-Caspase-3 protein was significantly increased. In addition, there was no difference in the protein expression of Caspase-3 between cryptotanshinone and control group. These findings indicate that cryptotanshinone may be a potent anticancer drug for the treatment of renal carcinoma by inhibiting expression of Ki67 and Bcl-2 and promoting protein expression of p-Caspase-3. 8.Absorbable internal fixation materials in the repair of patellar transverse fractures
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(8):1126-1132
BACKGROUND: In recent years, al kinds of absorbable internal fixation materials have been used in the clinical treatment of patel ar transverse fractures. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the repairing effect of absorbable internal fixation materials on patel ar transverse fractures. METHODS: Total y 102 cases of fresh patel ar transverse fractures were included 62 males and 40 females cases, with a mean age of (41.85±11.15) years, and according to treatment methods, they were divided into two groups: observation group (n=52) using absorbable screws for reconstruction and control group (n=50) using Kirschner wire repair. At 12 months after repair, Lysholm knee function score were measured and evaluated, and the occurrence of adverse events was recorded. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The knee function score and excel ent rate of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (both P < 0.05). In the observation group, there were four cases of fracture displacement, but no skin irritation and other adverse events occurred; in the control group, there were two cases of nonunion and five cases of skin irritation or internal fixation loosening and slippage. Therefore, there was a higher incidence of adverse events in the control group compared with the observation group (P < 0.05). These experimental results show that the use of absorbable screws in the repair of patel ar transverse fracture can promote the functional recovery of the knee joint, with good biocompatibility.
