International Journal of Surgery 2008;35(9):633-636
Pancreatic cancer is one of the most lethal human malignant tumors, and its incidence is rising. Now, its treatment includes surgical resection, chemo - radiotherapy and supplementary treatment. The prognosis of pan-creatic cancer is still dismal. And its one-year survival is low. This article talks about the effect of clinical treatment on quality of life in patients with pancreatic cancer.
3.Correlation between cytoreduction outcome and staging of ovarian cancer with preoperative blood cell count
Journal of Chinese Physician 2017;19(1):83-85
Objective To investigate the relationship between cytoreduction outcome and staging of ovarian cancer with preoperative blood cell count. Methods The data of 148 ovarian cancer patients from January 2007 to June 2012 were analyzed retrospectively.Clinicopathological and blood cell count data were collected, and benign ovarian tumor group (n =96) as controls. Results Compared to the control group, there were significant differences in the number of white blood cells, neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, platelets, neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio, and platelets to lymphocyte ratio in patients with ovarian cancer (P < 0.05).The same results were also observed in advanced groups and early groups. While between optimal cytoreduction and suboptimal cytoreduction, there were significant differences in platelets, monocytes, neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio, and platelets to lymphocyte ratio (P < 0.05).Conclusions The cytoreduction outcome and pathological staging of ovarian cancer are closely related to the preoperative blood cell count.Blood cell count is important for the identification of benign and malignant ovarian tumors, cytoreduction outcome and the prediction of pathological staging, and may be of significance to the monitoring and prognosis of the disease.
4.The establishment of enteral nutrition with minimally-invasive interventional procedure under endoscopic or imaging guidance
Journal of Interventional Radiology 1992;0(01):-
For patients unable to get the necessary nutrition orally,a variety of techniques, including surgical way,to make gastrostomy with tube placement have been employed. For recent years, gastrostomy and tube placement with the help of endoscopic guidance or percutaneous interventional management has been developed, which is superior to surgical procedure in minimizing injuries, decreasing cost and reducing complications. In certain clinical situations, both endoscopic method and interventional method can be employed. This paper aims to make a comprehensive review of the indications, techniques and skills, advantages and disadvantages of both the endoscopy-guided and the imaging-guided percutaneous gastrojejunostomy for the establishment of enteral nutrition.
5.OBSERVATIONS ON THE NEURONS IN THE SPINAL VENTRAL ROOTS OF THE INFANTS
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1953;0(01):-
Spinal ventral roots of 10 infants were examined. Eight pairs of spinal ventral roots were cut off from 10 infant cadavers including the following segments: C_6, C_7,T_5, T_(11), L_3, L_5, S_1, and S_2. Serial longitudenal sections were prepared and stained with Niss's method. The presence of sensory neurons were recorded and their num- ber were counted. The results were as follows:Nerve cells in the spinal ventral roots were found in all the cases examined. The minimal number was 58 cells in No. 8, and the maximal number was 203 in No. 10. There were altogether 1,446 cells found in 117 spinal roots, and no cell in 35 roots. The highest number of nerve cells observed in a single root was 83.The nerve cells were scattered all over the spinal ventral root from its attachment to the spinal cord to its junction with the dorsal root. More cells were found in its distal extremity close to the spinal ganglion. They appeared singly, in groups of two or three, or in a cluster looking like a small ganglion. They were usually distributed among the nerve fibers, or around the blood vessels, or beneath the epineurium of the ventral root. They were ovoid in shape, with the long axis paralleling the course of nerve fibers. Nuclei were round in shape, Nissl granules were evenly distributed in the cytoplasm. They were different in sizes, ranging from 15 to 60 ?m. There were 808 cells (56%) more than 30~50 ?m. 607 cells (42%) less than 30 ?m, which accounted 98% of the total cell population.
6.The Impact of Patients with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo on State-Trait Anxiety
Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 2017;25(3):254-257
Objective To investigate the anxiety condition of patients with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) and the relationship among the different genders, ages and education levels and anxiety. Methods The general information and a history of 58 patients diagnosed as BPPV were studied.State-trait anxiety inventory (STAI) was adopted to 58 cases of BPPV and compared with the Chinese standard norm.SPSS 19.0 software was used to analyze the data. Results There was no significant difference in trait anxiety (T-AI) score (Pm:0.539;Pf:0.924) between male and female patients with BPPV and the 1998 Chinese male and female norm. The S-AI scores were significantly higher in male and female BPPV patients than that in Chinese men and women norm scores (Pm:0.033;Pf:0.01).There was no significant difference in trait anxiety (T-AI) score (P:0.674;P:0.349;P:0.077) between patients with different genders, ages and education levels. There was significant difference in state anxiety (S-AI) score (P:0.046;P:0.02;P:0.035) between patients with different genders, ages and education levels. The anxiety degrees of BPPV in man, elderly people, higher degree of education were higher than those of in woman, young and middle-age, lower degree of education. Conclusion The patients with BPPV have anxiety condition, but there is no obvious anxiety potential in T-AI.The anxiety degree of BPPV in man, elderly people, higher degree of education was higher than those of in woman, young and middle-age, lower degree of education. Therefore, the correct psychological assessment and psychological intervention were required throughout the whole course of BPPV treatment and rehabilitation.
7."Research on ""Kidney-liver-brain"" Axis and Acupuncture on Du Meridian for Stroke Treatment"
World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(8):1824-1826
The onset of stroke is related to the deficiency of kidney water, internal stirring of liver wind, disorder of brain marrow, and blood. They are in evolutionary relationship. The disorder of kidney-liver-brain axis is the core pathogenesis of stroke. In the aspect of meridian and function, the Du meridian is closely related to the kidney, liver and brain. Acupuncture on the Du meridian to regulate the kidney-liver-brain axis is an effective method in the treatment of stroke. The clinical practice and research have proved that DU20-Baihui and DU14-Dazhu are im-portant acupoints in the treatment of stroke.
8.Study on the correlation of intra-operative hyaluronic acid changes with hepatic allografts cold ischemia-reperfusion injury in liver transplantation
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(08):-
Objective:To probe the correlation of intra-operative hyaluronic acid(HA) changes with hepatic allografts cold ischemia reperfusion injury in liver transplantation. Methods:The patients with orthotopic liver transplantation were assigned to 3 groups:① group A :liver allografts were stored in University of Wisconsin's solution(0℃) for 5-6 h before implantation;② group B :liver allografts were stored in U W's solution(0℃) for 8-9 h before implantation;③ group C :liver allografts were stored in U W's solution(0℃) for 12 h before implantation. The serum samples were taken up at 5 min,60 min,120 min,180 min after the donor liver was transplanted and reperfused to detect the concentration of HA.Results:After donor liver was transplanted and reperfused, serum HA concentration decreased immediately and gradually.HA decreased rate :group A 4.58 ?g/L?min-1,group B 4.16 ?g/L?min-1,group C 2.26 ?g/L?min-1.Serum HA decrease rate was faster in group A and B than that in group C(P
9.Current status on the intestinal barrier dysfunction in HIV infection
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 2017;24(4):244-248
Highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) can effectively suppress thehuman immunodeficiency virus (HIV) replication andsignificantly reduce morbidity and mortality of HIV-infectedpatients,which howevercan't completely remove the virus, and eventually progressinto chronic viral-infection disease.Chronic HIVinfection destroys host immune system, leading to intestinal barrier damage, intestinal mucosal dysfunction, microbial translocation, and further accelerates the disease progress. The reconstruction of intestinalmicroflora balance and improvement of intestinal mucosa function areessential to reestablish the host immune system. This paper will review the current research advanceson intestinal barrier damage of HIV infection and gut-target therapy of AIDS.The aim is to provide valid evidences for further research targeting improvement of treatment strategiesandreduction of morbidity and mortality in HIV infection.

Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 1996;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate the effect of cold ischemia on the expression of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-?) and interleukin-10 (IL-10) and hepatic regeneration in liver grafts. Methods Partial liver transplantation model in rats was developed. The rats were divided into 3 groups: control group receiving 50 % liver resection, experimental group 1 receiving partial liver transplantation 30 min after cold ischemia and experimental group 2 receiving partial liver transplantation 10 hr after cold ischemia. The expression of the proliferative cell nuclear antigen (PCNA),TNF-? and IL-10 in liver tissues obtained on the postoperative day 1,2 and 4 in rats was detected by using immunohistochemical method. Correlation analysis was performed on the liver proliferation and regeneration, and the expression of TNF-? and IL-10.Results The survival rate in control group, experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 was 100 % , 79 % and 29 % respectively. In the experimental group 2,the expression of PCNA,TNF-? was significantly decreased, while the expression of IL-10 increased as compared with that in experimental group 1 (both P
