5.The significances of the endoscopic diagnosis and histological assessment for chronic atrophic gastritis
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2009;32(z2):52-53
Objective To explore the significances of the endoscopic diagnosis for chronic atrophic and histological assessment gastritis (CAG). Method Five hundred patients with CAG were determined by gastroscopy and the samples of gastric mucosa were examined by the pathology. Results Among 500 cases of CAG by gastroscopy, 429 cases were similar with the pathologic results and the coincidence rate of diagnosis with endoscopy and pathology was 85.8%(429/500), 370 cases had a change of atrophic gastritis in cirumjacent mucosa. Conclusion The coincidence rate of diagnosis under endoscopy and pathology is quite good in CAG.
6.Progress of cardial troponin and the injury after transcatheter closure of congenital heart disease
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(1):44-46
That thranscatheter therapy of congenital heart disease (CHD) can cause myocardial injury is one of the focal points of attention in disciplines. Cardiac troponin (cTn) with its high specificity and sensitivity becomes special myocardial injury measure indicators. The types of CHD, the sizes of defect and occluder, the degree of stenosis, and the patients age and body weight, with their influence due to the concentrations of cTn,can be tested as associated risk factors of the myocardial injury.
7.The clinical meaning of 1h-plasma glucose cutoff value during OGTT in the screening of diabetes and IGR
Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2010;18(3):204-206
Objective To determine 1 hour plasma glucose cutoff value during OGTT to screen diabetes and IGR and its relationship with islet β cell function and insulin sensitivity. Methods 4731 subjects were recruited to perform an OGTT.The cutoff value of 1h-plasma glucose during OGTT was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC curve). And according to the two cutoff values,we classified all the subjects to three groups, and compared HOMA-IR,HOMA-β,insulinogenic index and shape index among groups, then analyzed its correlation with each parameter. Results According to ROC results, to diagnose type 2 diabetes mellitus, the optimal cutoff value of 1h plasma glucose during OGTT was 12.935mmol/L,with sensitivity of 81.52%,specificity of 86.94%. To diagnose impaired glucose regulation(IGR),the optimal cutoff value of 1h plasma glucose was 9.815mmol/L,with sensitivity of 74.96% and specificity of 77.86%. We classified all the subjects to three groups, and among the three groups the insulinogenic index, shape index, HOMA-IR, HOMA-β showed statistically significant difference (all P<0.01). There was a negative correlation of OGTT-1hPG with insulinogenic index and HOMA-β(all P<0.01) and a positive correlation of OGTT-1h PG with shape index and HOMA-IR (all P<0.01). Conclusions To diagnose type 2 diabetes mellitus, the optimal cutoff value of 1h plasma glucose during OGTT is 12.935mmol/L.To diagnose impaired glucose regulation(IGR),the optimal cutoff value of 1h plasma glucose is 9.815mmol/L.And 1h PG can reflect the islet β-cell function and insulin resistance.
8.Clinical significance of end-tidal carbon dioxide tension monitoring during mechanical ventilation
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2010;17(3):207-209
End-tidal carbon dioxide tension or concentration monitoring is characterized with noninvasive, convenient and fast reaction, which Can be continuously monitored and dynamically displayed On electrocardiogram monitor. The technique has been extensively applied in the operation room, intensive care unit and emergency room.
9.Utilization of virtual reality technique and full-scale human analogue in trauma first aid training
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2004;0(07):-
Training ability and level of trauma management skills have an straight influence on the results of pre-hospital care and treatment of casualties, and thus are very important to save the life of the wounded and to reduce the mutilation rate. The adoption of a teaching module employing a human analogue significantly improves first aid training level, which can help the students master trauma management skills and gain self-confidences. The application of virtual realty technique and human analogue to such first-aid training is reviewed as the training for dressing, hemostasis, fracture fixation, casualty transport, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and urgent airway management.
10.The application of surface electromygraphy in functional assessment of patients with post-stroke pharyngeal dysphagia
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine 2017;32(5):534-538
Objective:To investigate the difference of amplitude and duration in submental muscles and infrahyoid muscles activities during pharyngeal swallowing between normal adults and post-stroke dysphagia by using surface electromyography technique and analysis system.Method:The clinical data from 30 cases of PSD and 30 healthy controls were collected.ME6000-T8-type sEMG machine was used to collect sEMG of two groups in resting state, saliva swallow and wet swallow, and therefore calculate the average amplitude and duration.Result:①In resting state:there were no statistical difference in the average amplitude of submental and infrahyoid muscles between PSD group and control group(P>0.05);In PSD group:statistical differences were not observed in the amplitude between submental muscles and infrahyoid muscles; In control group:there were no statistical difference in the average amplitude between submental muscles and infrahyoid muscles;②During dry swallowing:the results indicated that the average amplitude of submental and infrahyoid muscles in PSD group were significantly lower than that in control group;and the duration of submental and infrahyoid muscles was significantly lower with statistical difference(P<0.05).③During wet swallowing(swallowing5ml water):the average amplitude of submental and infrahyoid muscles in control group were significantly higher than that in PSD group(P<0.005);and the duration of submental and infrahyoid muscles were also significantly prolonger (P<0.001);④Intra-group comparison:statistically differences were not observed in the amplitude and duration between submental muscles and infrahyoid muscles for both PSD group and control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:sEMG could be used as a non-invasive、simple、rapid tool in detecting the sEMG activities of related muscles during pharyngeal swallowing. The average amplitude and duration of submental and infrahyoid muscles can not only preliminarily screen and evaluate swallowing function, but also reflect the complexity and the elevation persistence time of the hyoid bone and the larynx in elevation movement, which were used to evaluate the neuromuscular function and predict the risk of aspiration of patients.
