1.Polymorphism of ATP-binding cassette transporter A1 gene in sporadic Alzheimer's disease
Chinese Journal of Neurology 1999;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the association of the single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs)G→A (R219K) in the exon 6 of ATP-binding cassette transporter A1 (ABCA1) gene with sporadic Alzheimer's disease (SAD) in the Han Chinese population. Methods Genotypes were determined by PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) in 168 SAD patients and 215 healthy controls. The association between the polymorphism and AD was estimated with the odds ratios (OR).Results The frequency of A allele in SAD cases was significantly lower than in controls (37.8 % vs 48.1%,x~2=8.204, P=0.004),and the frequency of AA genotype in SAD cases was also significantly lower than in control (14.3% vs 22.8%,x~2=8.230,P=0.016).Logistic regression analyses adjusted for age, gender and ApoEe4 status showed that the risk for AD was decreased in A allele (G/A+A/A genotypes,OR 0.57, 95% CI 0.36—0.91,P=0.019) or AA homozygote carriers (OR 0.40,95% CI 0.21—0.77,P= 0.006) compared with GG genotypes carriers. Conclusion Our data indicate a genetic association between polymorphism in exon 6 of ABCA1 gene and the risk of AD and reveal that AA genotype or A allele of ABCAI gene may have a protective effect on AD in the Han Chinese.

Journal of China Medical University 2001;30(2):108-111
Objective: Our purpose was to study the predictive factors of interferon(IFN) therapeutic effectiveness. Methods:Genotypes of HCV, HCV RNA quantities, β2 microglobulin, 2′- 5′oligoadenylate synthetase, and peripheral blood lymohocyte subgroup were detected by using specific primer PCR assay, energy transference technique of signal primer, sheet chromatography, radioimmunoassay, and APAAP immunoenzyme bridge technique respectively in 20 blood samples of patients with chronic hepatitis C. Results:(1)The patients who had lower level of HCV RNA before treatment and had continuing decreased HCV RNA level after treatment had good response to IFN treatment in follow-up survey. (2)The patients with HCV-Ⅲ type had complete response much more than those with HCV-Ⅱ type (P<0.05).(3)The patients with lower level of 2′- 5′oligoadenylate synthetase before treatment might have good response to IFN treatment. (4) There was no significant change in β2 microglobulin level before and after treatment and in different response groups before treatment.(5) The CD+3, CD+4, and CD+4/CD+8 in peripheral blood increased after treatment. The patients in complete response group had higher level CD+3, CD+4, and CD+4/CD+8 than those in part response and non-response groups, but there was no significance in statisitcs. Conclusion:The HCV RNA quantities, HCV genotypes, 2′- 5′oligoadenylate synthetase level before treatment were predictive factors of IFN therapeutic effectiveness. The changes of HCV RNA level in treatment and follow-up survey had important significance in therapeutic evaluation, β2 microglobulin level, and lymphocyte subgroup before treatment were not used as predictive factors for IFN therapeutic effectiveness.
3. Shengmai Injection combined with conventional treatment for acute myocardial infarction: A systematic review and Meta-analysis
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2018;49(5):1201-1210
This Meta-analysis systematically assessed the efficacy and safety of Shengmai Injection (SMI) combined with conventional treatment for acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Seven online databases were investigated, then randomized clinical trials (RCTs) of treatment effects of AMI patients, for which SMI was used in combination with conventional therapy compared with conventional therapy alone, were included. The literatures selection, data extraction, and quality assessment were in accordance with the Cochrane standards. Data analysis was carried out using RevMan software (V.5.3). RCTs (enrolling 1 258 patients) from 18 literatures published in Chinese journals were included in the systermatic review. The additional SMI could significantly reduce the risk of mortality, arrhythmia, cardiogenic shock, heart failure and improve left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), stroke volume (SV), vascular patency rate. The adverse effects of mild bleeding, palpitation, shortness of breath, fatigue could occur both in the control group and the treatment group. Thus, it was difficult to evaluate the safety of SMI due to the limited data and low-guality RCTs. Therefore, high-quality and adequate sample of RCTs with low risk of bias are required to demonstrate its true effects.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 1996;0(02):-
Objective: To investigate the expression of P16 protein in oral verrucous carcinoma (VC) and oral squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and to reveal its role in the occurrence and development of VC . Methods: Using streptavidin/peroxidase(SP) immunohistochemical technique(IHC) the expression of P16 protein in 41 samples, including 8 of normal mucosa (NM),13 VC,10 well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma (wdSCC),10 poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma (pdSCC) was studied. The average intensity score (IS) of immunohistochemical staining of the samples was calculated. Results: Weakly positive of P16 protein was obsereved in the 8 cases of NM. Positive expression was found in 10 of the 13 VC cases,8 of the 10 wdSCC and 6 of the 10 pdSCC.The IS in NM,VC, wd SCC and pdSCC was 0.4375?0.0498,1.5846?0.2681,0.9900?0.1894 and 0.8800?0.2590 respectively. The mean intensity of P16 protein in VC was higher than in wdSCC and pdSCC(P

Objective:To observe the effect of acupoint massage plus acupoint sticking therapy for the stress reaction during postoperative anesthesia recovery period in patients undergoing nasal endoscopic surgery. Methods:A total of 120 patients undergoing nasal endoscopic surgery were included, and all patients were under trachea intubation and general anesthesia. The patients were randomized into an observation group and a control group, with 60 patients in each group.Patients in the control group received conventional anesthesia resuscitation, while patients in the observation group received acupoint massage plus acupoint sticking therapy on the basis of conventional anesthesia resuscitation.Changes in the heart rate (HR),systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) were observed at three time points including the end of the surgery (TO),the removal of the tracheal tube (T1) and 10 min after the removal of the tracheal tube (T2).The awakening and tube removal time, choking cough and restlessness, and adverse reactions (dizziness, nausea and vomiting) in 24 h post-surgery period were compared. Results:At T1 and T2,the comparisons of HR,SBP and DBP between the two groups showed statistical significance (all P<0.05).Intra-group comparisons showed that the HR,SBP and DBP of the control group at T1 and T2 were significant different from those at TO (all P<0.05).There were significant differences in the awakening time and tube removal time between the two groups (both P<0.05).The incidences of choking cough and restlessness were 8.3% and 3.3% respectively in the observation group, versus 53.3% and 30.0% in the control group, and the between-group comparisons showed statistical significance (both P<0.05).The incidences of dizziness, nausea and vomiting in 24 h post-surgery period were 3.3%,5.0% and 0.0% respectively in the observation group, versus 43.3%,33.3% and 25.0% in the control group, and the between-group comparisons showed statistical significance (all P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint massage plus acupoint sticking therapy can effectively regulate the stress reaction during postoperative anesthesia recovery period in patients undergoing nasal endoscopic surgery, and maintain a stable internal environment.
