diabeticfoot ulcer of rats induced by streptozotosin, and to find the significance of free radical scavenging and the antioxidative function.MethodsA total of 60 male wistar rats were randomized into the control group (20 rats) and diabetic model group (40 rats). The model group was induced to diabetic foot ulcer using streptozotosin tail intravenous injection, and the control group was injected equal citric acid-citric acid sodium buffer fluid instead.A rectangular full-thickness skin of dorsum of foot in the two groups was removed from model rats to construct diabetic foot ulcer.Serum zinc levels of the two groups were monitored, and immunohistochemical technique was used to detect the MT expression.ResultsSerum zinc levels in the model group( 1.17 ±0.09) was significantly lower than control group( 1.48 ±0.07),and the difference was statistically significant ( t =12.94,P <0.01 ).The MT expression in control group was low, while it significantly increased in diabetic model group, and the difference was statistically significant ( x2 =12.78,P < 0.01 ).ConclusionsThe zinc levels and MT expression of diabetic foot ulcer rats may be associated with free radical scavenging and the antioxidative function. The increased expression of MT may play an important role in preventing the further development of diabetic foot ulcer disease.

Objective To explore the reproductive toxicity of 2,4-D butylate to the testis in male mice. Methods Forty-eight ICR male mice were randomly divided into four groups : the control group, and three 2,4-D butylate experimental groups (10, 20, 40 mg/kg), 12 mice in each group.2,4-D butylate was intragastrically administered once a day and six days per week for five weeks .At the end of the exposure, the activities of total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC), Na+ K+-ATPase, Ca+ + Mg+ +-ATPase, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) in testis homogenate were measured by spectrophotometry .Results The activity of T-AOC was gradually decreased with the increase of doses, with a significant difference between the high dose group and other groups .The activities of LDH in the moderate and high dose groups were significantly lower than those of the low dose group and control group , and there was a significant difference between the high dose group and moderate dose group .The activities of SDH in the testis was gradually decreased with the increase of the 2,4-D butylate dose, showing significant differences between the high dose group and the moderate dose and control groups , and between the high and moderate dose groups and the low dose group . The activities of Na +K +-ATPase in the moderate and high dose groups were significantly lower than that of the control and low dose group. The activities of Ca++Mg++-ATPase was significantly lower in the experimental groups than that in the control group. Conclusion Exposure to 2,4-D butylate has certain toxic effect on the testicular tissue in male mice .

OBJECTIVETo investigate the history of the medicinal uses, resources, distribution, habitat and population characteristic of Coptis deltoidea, and provide basis for the protection and rational development and utilization of Radix Coptidis Deltoideae.
METHODThe relevant literature and data was scrutinized and herbarium was compared, interview and field survey methods were carried out.
RESULTThe medicinal history, resources, distribution, population characteristic and protective strategy of C. deltoidea were summarized. The sustainable development of C. deltoidea was discussed.
CONCLUSIONThe resource is endangered, the germplasm resources should be intentionally protected and ensure the sustainable development and utilization of C. deltoidea.

There are still many existing problems in the training of medical undergraduates and microsurgery talents in China, such as lack of scientific research ability and scientific literacy of medical undergraduates, insufficient practical ability, short of scientific research opportunities for medical undergraduates, and inadequate talent reserve in microsurgery. In view of the above shortcomings, Wannan Medical College has established a training course on microneurosurgery technology for medical undergraduates, and made a preliminary exploration to solve the above problems. Through the training, undergraduates not only improve their practical ability, but also stimulate their interest in microsurgery, which will help them adapt to clinical and scientific research work at an early stage. Neurosurgical microscopic technology training with emphasis on extracurricular expansion as main content, plays an important role in the cultivation of undergraduate microscopic skills, the establishment of basic theories of neurosurgery, the improvement of scientific research accomplishment and the expansion of extracurricular vision.

Objective:To evaluate the feasibility, safety and efficacy of robotic-assisted lateral lymph node dissection for mid-low advanced rectal cancer. Methods:A retrospective cohort study was performed. Inclusion criteria: (1) age between 18 and 80 years old; (2) rectal adenocarcinoma diagnosed by pathology; (3) without distant metastasis by preoperative CT or MRI; (4) patients underwent robotic-assisted total mesorectal resection (TME). Exclusion criteria: (1) conversion to open surgery; (2) multiple primary tumors; (3) patients underwent combined multiple organ resection. According to the above criteria, 137 patients undergoing robotic-assisted mid-low rectal cancer resection in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi′an Jiaotong University from December 2016 to April 2019 were enrolled. Ninety-seven cases underwent robotic-assisted total mesorectal excision (TME group) and 40 underwent robotic-assisted total mesorectal resection with lateral lymph node dissection (LLND) (TME+LLND group, pelvic LLND was performed with neurovascular guidance to retain pelvic autonomic nerves in the order of the left side the first and then the right side). The propensity score matching of 1:1 was performed with R software, based on age, sex, BMI, ASA classification, distance from tumor to the anal verge, preoperative chemoradiotherapy history, preoperative abdominal surgery history, the size of tumors and TNM stage. The operative indicators, postoperative recovery, pathology and postoperative complications within 30 days were compared between the two groups. Results:A total of 72 cases were successfully matched (36 in each group), and there were no statistically significant differences in baseline data between the two groups (all P>0.05). The operation time of TME+LLND group was significantly longer than that of TME group [275.0 (180-405) minutes vs. 220.0 (140-320) minutes, Z=-3.680, P<0.001], while there were no statistically significant differences in blood loss during operation, time to postoperative first flatus, postoperative hospital stay, total hospital cost, tumor differentiation, and distal resection length of margin (all P>0.05). Circumferential resection margin was all negative in both groups. The number of harvested lymph modes in the TME+LLND groups was higher than that in the TME group [26 (18-37) vs. 14 (9-36), Z=-6.407, P<0.001]. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences in postoperative morbidity and Clavien-Dindo classification of complication within 30 days between the two groups (both P>0.05). Conclusions:Although robotic lateral lymph node dissection requires longer operation time, it is a feasible, safe and effective procedure.
