Objective To investigate the effect of M-CSF and GM-CSF on migration and expression of VEGF-A in breast cancer cell line 4T1.Methods Real-time PCR was used to detect VEGF-A mRNA expression in 4T1 cells treated by 5 ng/ml or 10 ng/ml M-CSF or GM-CSF.Ability of migration and metastasis of 4T1 cells were analyzed by scratch and Transwell assays. Results The relative expression of VEGF-A mRNA at 12 h and 24 h in 4T1 cells treated by 5 ng/ml or 10 ng/ml M-CSF were 17.81±2.49 and 17.48± 5.43,5.15±2.59 and 5.45±4.28,respectively,while those treated by GM-CSF were 9.77±2.39 and 7.61±2.80,6.53±2.41 and 6.30±2.89,respectively.M-CSF and GM-CSF can promote the expression of VEGF-A in 4T1 cells (P < 0.05).The relative expression of VEGF-A was higher in 4T1 cells treated for 12 h than that for 24 h (P < 0.01).M-CSF,GM-CSF and VEGF-A can promote metastasis of 4T1 cells (all P < 0.05),whereas no gross migration of 4T1 cells was showed by VEGF-A treatment. Conclusion M-CSF and GM-CSF can promote the migration and expression of VEGF-A in breast cancer cell line 4T1.

Objective:
To explore the association of the frequency of domestic violence witness in childhood with the quality of life (QOL) of college students, and to provide a reference for improving the quality of life of students who domestic violence witness in childhood.
Methods:
In October 2018, a total of 4 034 college students from four universities in Hefei, Anhui Province, were selected to participate in this study. The Conflict Tactics Scales Short Form (CTS2SF) and the World Health Organization Quality of Life-Brief (WHOQOL-BREF) were used to assess the effect of witnessing domestic violence in childhood on the QOL of college students. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the relationship between the different frequencies of witnessing domestic violence in childhood and the QOL of college students.
Results:
The mean scores of the subjective assessment of QOL, health subjective assessment, physiology, psychology, social relationships, and environment were (14.06±3.25) (13.42±3.47) (12.61±2.02) (14.09±2.62) (13.72±2.71) (13.77±2.46), respectively. The multiple linear regression model showed that, witnessing domestic violence in childhood was negatively correlated with the QOL of college students (P<0.01). Although occasional expose to severe family violence in childhood was not associated with the health subjective assessment and the environmental dimensions, the different frequencies of witnessing domestic violence in childhood were negatively correlated with the QOL of college students (P<0.05).
Conclusion
Frequency of domestic violence witness in childhood is associated with the mean scores of the QOL of college students. It is necessary to explore effective prevention and intervention programs for exposure to domestic violence in childhood.

O'Sullivan-Mcleod syndrome is a very rare variant of MND with a good prognosis. Its clinical feature is distal lower motor neuron syndrome of both upper limbs, and there is no effective treatment at present. We reported a case of O'Sullivan-Mcleod syndrome in this paper. The patient exhibited with middle-aged progressive distal muscle weakness and atrophy of both upper limbs, without sensory, cognitive or behavioral impairment and without pyramidal tract sign. Laboratory examination, imaging and genetic tests showed no obvious abnormalities. EMG revealed neurogenic damage to the small muscles of both hands. Now we retrospectively analyzed the clinical features of a patient with O'Sullivan-McLeod syndrome, and data from 18 cases for comparative analysis, in order to improve its understanding by clinicians.
