Dosage of D. opposita Thunb. was used as the cardinal line. EXcellwas used to conduct schematic analysis. The results showed that small amount of D. opposita Thunb. had the effect of reinforcing the spleen. The effect of tonifying the lung had the dosage boundary line of 10 g. The small dosage had weak effect and large dosage had strong effect. The effect of tonifying the kidney was often the middle dosage. When the dose was larger or smaller, the effect was not obvious. The effect of consoli-dating the kidney was obvious when using larger or smaller dosage. It was concluded that the dosage of D. opposita Thunb. had relatively big influence on its effect, which provided reference of more value for the clinical practice and health cultivation.
8.The Chinese Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale:An Examination of Its Reliability and Validity
Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 2006;0(06):-
Objective: To evaluate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of Frost's Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale(FMPS).Methods: One thousand two hundred and eighty Chinese undergraduate students participated in the study and responded to the FMPS and instruments measuring psychological distresses such as anxiety, depression, and obsession-compulsion.Both exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were used to examine the factor structure of the Chinese FMPS.The association between FMPS and psychological distresses was analyzed as an investigation for criterion validity. Results: Factor analyses extracted five of the original six factors of FMPS.PC did not emerge as a dimension. The five subscales were shown to have satisfactory internal consistencies with Cronbach's alpha between 0.64 and 0.81 and test-retest reliability 0.63~0.82.Chinese FMPS was associated with anxiety, depression, and obsession-compulsion.Particularly,CM and DA are correlated with these psychological distresses with coefficients between 0.30 and 0.70.Conclusion: Chinese FMPS is satisfactorily valid and reliable. It is suitable to use in Chinese college students.
9. Expression of endothelial nitric oxide synthase correlates with the angiogenic phenotypes and poor prognosis of human gastric cancer
Tumor 2007;27(4):290-293
Objective: Angiogenesis is a critical step in tumor growth and is regulated by multiple molecular pathways. We evaluted the expression of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) III and its relationship with the angiogenic phenotypes and expressions of the transcription factor Sp1, as well as their effect on survival rate of patients with gastric cancer. Methods: The expression levels of NOS III and Sp1, and tumor microvessel density (MVD) status in 86 specimens of resected gastric cancer tissues were determined by immunohistochemistry. Results: NOS III protein expression was significantly higher in both primary tumors and lymph node metastases than in normal gastric mucosa. In primary tumors, NOS III expression had close correlation with Sp1 expression (P=0.001) and MVD status (P=0.001). Patients with positive Sp1 expression were more likely to have strong NOS III expression (15 times) and a high MVD (7 times) than those with negative Sp1 expression. Univariate survival analysis showed that strong NOS III expression, strong Sp1 expression, and a high MVD were associated with poor prognosis. In a Cox proportional hazards model, only strong NOS III and Sp1 expression as well as advanced disease stage were independent factors for prognosis of patients. Conclusion: Our results indicate that the expression of NOS III may play an important role in tumor angiogenesis and infiltration of gastric cancer.
