Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(01):-
AIM: To study the pharmacodynamics of Guanhuang Ganmao Capsule. METHODS: Antiviral effect of Guanhuang Ganmao Capsule was investigated by infecting chicken embryo with N_1H_1; its antipyretic action was evaluated with rabbit pyrogentic test induced by bacterial endotoxin; anti-inflammation by rats swelling test with injection of 1% agar and mice abdominal capillary permeability test with dimethylbanzene; the antitussive activities were investigated through testing cough times induced by ammonium hydroxide and sulfur dioxide in mice; the expectorant activities of it were studied by testing the amount of phlegm secreted in mice; The antibacterial effects in vivo were evaluated in mice with induced systematic infection. RESULTS: Guanhuang Ganmao Capsules had obvious antiviral action, antipyretic action, anti-inflammation and antitussive action. It took expectorant effect. The capsules markedly reduced death rate of staphylococcus aureus infection in mice. CONCLUSION: Guanhuang Ganmao Capsules possess antiviral; antipyretic; antitussive and expectorant effects as well as anti-inflammation
6.Clinical effect of neovascular glaucoma treated by vitrectomy and cyclophotocoagulation
International Eye Science 2014;(7):1325-1326
AlM: To observe the postoperative intraocular pressure ( lOP) and operation safety in the eyes of the neovascular glaucoma pateints treated by intraocular cyclophotocoagulation which needed vitrectomy at the same time.
METHODS: A total of 12 neovascular glaucoma cases ( 14 eyes ) secondary to diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment surgery and trauma were reviewed in our study. This procedure mainly used intraocular photocoagulation catheter to highlight the ciliary processes until the ciliary became white atrophy or plosion after vitreous surgery treatment. The intraocular photocoagulation catheter was performed at a power of 300-500mW, for a duration of 0. 1-0. 2ms. Postoperative follow-up was at least for 6mo. The observation of 14 postoperative neovascular glaucoma was performed at 1wk, 1, 6mo observing the lOP and complications.
RESULTS:lOP of the 11 eyes was significantly declined and controlled in normal. After cyclophotocoagulation, average lOP at 1wk was 16. 7±14. 4mmHg, 15. 7±8. 8mmHg at 1mo and 12. 9±4. 5mmHg at 6mo, which compared with untreatment ( 39. 6 ± 10. 0mmHg ) was statistically significant different (P<0. 01). ln follow up time 3 cases were relapsed which were supplied with transscleral or endoscope cyclophotocoagulation. During the follow-up period no endophthalmitis and complications such as eyeball atrophy were found.
CONCLUSlON: The intraocular cyclophotocoagulation and vitrectomy simultaneously can deal with the primary disease and secondary neovascular glaucoma. The operation can be accurately performed under direct cyclophotocoagulation and it is a safe and effective way for neovascular glaucoma which needs vitreous surgery.
7. AQP9 protein phosphorylation decreases arsenic influx in mammal cells
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2012;47(9):679-683
OBJECTIVE: To detect the levels of aquaglyceroporin 9 (AQP9) mRNA expression, AQP9 and p38 proteins and their phosphorylation in HepG2 and L-02 cells treated with NaAsO2, and to investigate the association of these expression levels with arsenic intake and the AQP9 phosphorylation mechanism. METHODS: The intracellular arsenic content was determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Real-time quantitative PCR, Western blotting and immunoprecipitation techniques were used to detect AQP9 mRNA, AQP9 and p38 protein levels and their phosphorylation levels in HepG2 and L-02 cells. SPSS statistical software was used to analyze experimental data. RESULTS: Intracellular arsenic content and intake rate in HepG2 cells were faster than those in L-02 cells. AQP9 mRNA levels in L-02 cells was increased with time within 6 h after NaAsO2 treatment (P<0.05), while no significant change was observed in L-02 cells. Two hours after treatment, AQP9 gene levels in HepG2 cells were all significantly increased at different concentrations of NaAs02. The phosphorylation levels of AQP9 in HepG2 cells were increased with treating time and concentration of NaAsO2. While the phosphorylation levels of AQP9 in L-02 cells significantly increased compared to control at each time point and concentration, but no significant difference was shown between the treatments. p38 phosphorylation levels in both cells were increased with time. Inhibition of p38 activity by SB203580 completely abolished AQP9 protein phosphorylation in L-02 cells, while it had no significant effect on HepG2 cells. CONCLUSION: AQP9 expression and phosphorylation levels may play an important role in regulating arsenic influx; regulation mechanism of AQP9 phosphorylation may be different in different cells. 8.Oligonucleotide Array Comparative Genomic Hybridization and Its Application
Yi-Fei PENG ; Wen-Li MA ;
China Biotechnology 2006;0(10):-
The array CGH technique (Array Comparative Genome Hybridization) has been developed to detect chromosomal copy number changes on a genome-wide and/or high-resolution scale. It is mainly used in human genetics and oncology. Generally PCR amplified bacterial artificial chromosomes (BACs) or cDNAs have been spotted on the arrays as probes. Recently, however, oligonucleotide arrays designed with more flexibility and provide much higher resolution with high sensitivity, have been successfully explored in stead of BAC array CGH and can save considerable time and efforts. There will be a gradual transition from BAC array CGH to oligonucleotide array CGH in the coming years. The combination of oaCGH and other high-through put analysis can lead to discoveries of a host of novel oncogenes, tumor suppressors as well as tumor drug resistance genes. Some major platforms of oaCGH concerning their spatial resolution, optimal probe length, sensitivity, specificity and application in recent years were compared.
9.Research progress of vascularized tissue engineered trachea preparated by 3D bioprinting

International Journal of Surgery 2021;48(1):40-44
Tissue engineering can provide alternatives to current methods for tracheal reconstruction. Functional and perfusable vascular network formation is critical to ensure the long-term survival and functionality of engineered tissues after their transplantation. The greatest challenges in tracheal replacement are restoration of blood supply rapidly to support cell metabolism and promote tissue healing and regeneration. The traditional methods of tracheal transplantation vascularization are traumatic and requires secondary operation, which don′t meet the current ethical requirements of rapid rehabilitation surgery. The integrated printing of cells, biomaterials and growth factors through 3D bio-printing technology is expected to become a new development direction of vascular tissue engineering trachea.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(23):1873-1876
OBJECTIVE:
lo discuss the inmtluence of different thyroidectomy on perioperative blood calcium concentration.
METHOD:
Total number of patients was 240. These patients of thyroid tumors were recruited. Clinical and follow-up datum were retrospective analyzed.
RESULT:
Patients were divided into four groups by different operative methods. Group one was patients taken one-side thyroidectomy, group two taken one-side lymph node dissection plus, group three taken two-sides thyroidectomy, and group four taken one or two sides lymph node dissection plus. Group two was easier to become hypocalcemia and their calcium concentration decreased more remarkably, compared with group one. Patients taken two-sides thyroidectomy had the familiar outcome.
CONCLUSION
Patients taken lymph node dissection were easier to become hypocalcemia, compared with patients only taken thyroidectomy.
