[Objective]To analyze the causes for postoperative incisal effuscin following posterior lumbar spinal surgery, to study a protocl for classification of effusion and afford according treatments.[Method]1186 cases of posterior lumbar spinal surgery were completed in the hospital from june 2001 to june 2005,877 operations with instrumentation, Il09 oprations with non-instrumentation, to compare the rate of incisal effusion between the two groups. The patients of incisal effusion were divided into three types:Type Ⅰ:the causes are ascertained, 28 cases: Type Ⅱ: infection, 11 cases; Type Ⅲ:the causes are uncertain, 14 cases o Patients of type Ⅰ were received puncturation, etiological treatment, nutrient therapy. Patients oftype II were received invisal drainaga,debridement, surgical irrigation and culture-directed antibiotic. Patients of type Ⅲ were received puncturation, and prophylactic antibiotics. [Result]The occurrences of incisal effuson were higher in instrumental group (4.33%)thannon-instrumental group(1.35%),P

[Objective]To explore the diagnosis and surgical procedure of soft tissue tumors!in the wrist.[Method]A retrospective study was conducted to evaluate surgical excision of 132 cases of wrist soft tissue tumors in our hospital from jan 2003 to jun 2004.The preoperative diagnosis was compared with pathologic diagnosis and surgical complications was analyzed.[Result]Totally 132 cases included 110 ganglion and 22 non-ganglion were related to 11 disease.The correct rate of preoperative diagnosis was 86.4%(ganglion 95.5%,non-ganglion 40.9%).All cases were recieved surgical excision and were followed up 2 years except 5 cases,123 cases were cured,3 cases were recurrence and 1 died.Complications were seen in 2 dorsal cases and 6 volar cases.[Conclusion]Soft tissue tumors in the wrist are related to much broader spectrum of diseases.On cureing ganglion it is important to master surgical indications and crucial points of operation procedure for different sites.Because histological features of non-ganglion is difficult to determine,surgical treatment should be adviced for initial choise.

Objective To evaluate the current sanitary situation of the rural household latrine and the effects of decontamination of the feces in some epidemic areas of schistosome in Hubei province.Methods Six villages(4 villages with the sanitary latrines,2 villages with the non-sanitary latrines) were chosen for the investigation and 30 latrines were selected randomly in each village in September of 2007.The structure of the latrine and the situation of the faecal treatment were investigated by questionnaires.At the same time,the feces samples were collected and detected according to the related sanitary standards.Results The rate of the sanitary latrines without maggots,pupas and flies was 95%,while the rate of the non-sanitary latrines with the same situation was 33.33%.After non-hazardous treatment in the three-case-cesspool and the firedamp latrines,the qualified rates of the roundworm eggs were 95.6% and 98.6% respectively;the qualified rates of fecal coliform were both 100%;no schistosome eggs,the alive schistosome eggs and the alive roundworm eggs were detected.The morbidity rate of schistosomiasis of the villages with the sanitary latrines was 43.7%,lower than those with the non-sanitary latrines.Conclusion The faecal treatment of the rural household latrine in epidemic areas of schistosome can improve the sanitation and kill the pathogens in faeces effectively,and also can decrease the morbidity rate of schistosomiasis obviously.

Objective To compare the quality of platelet concentrates (PCs) between two different flow speeds of leukodepletion through filtration processes.Methods MCS+version C5 and disposables were used,each of which linked with a leuko-depleted filter of LRF series products,The PCs was gone respectively through a continuous slow filtration process at flow rate about 5 to 8 ml per minute in collection process (L-LDP) and through a fast filtration process at flow rate about 25 ml per minute after collection (F-LDP). The anticipation for PCs yield was ≥2.5?10 11 cells/bag and for residual white blood cells (WBC) was≤5.0?105 cells/bag.Results The PCs products obtained by L-LDP and F-LDP correspondingly showed the mean platelet yield (2.70?0.29)?10 11 cells/bag and (2.56?0.38)?10 11 cells/bag (t=1.25) the residual WBC (7.73?0.01)?104 cells/bag and (2.02?3.05)?105 cells/bag (log t=1.48), the success collection rate 78.6% and 70.6%, as well as the collection efficiency 57.1?6.8% and 55.5?8.7% (t=0.64) against precount. Objective To collect the basic information on publications in Chinese Journal of Perinatal Medicine,and understand the current situation and set the goals for the future. Methods Information on all publications in this journal from 1998 to 2007 was collected.The distribution of all publications,Price Index and relative data were analyzed. Results There were 1368 publications altogether during the past 10 years.The first six kinds of papers were original articles(508,31.7%),short articles(258,18.9%),case reports(194,14.2%),reviews(122,8.9%),experimental studies(90,6.6%)and brief communications(83,14.2%).47.9% of all publications were from Beijing,Guangdong and Shanghai.The first three areas who had the most submissions were Beijing,Shandong and Guangdong in 2007.The citation frequency analysis showed that 708 publications were cited at 1east once and only two were cited over 80 times.53.4% of all cited publications were original articles and experimental studies. Conclusions Original articles and short articles are the two main types of publications in this journal,however original articles and experimental studies contributed to half of the publications being cited.Publications in this journal are focused in few areas and this might be related to the number of submissions.

Objective To explore the influence of self care interaction mode on the health behavior of the patients with thoracolumbar fracture.Methods 127 cases of thoracolumbar fracture were randomly divided into the observation group (62 cases)and the control group (65 cases)according to random digital table method.The patients of the observation group were given self nursing interactive nursing.The patients of the control group were given rou-tine nursing.The comparative study of the following indicators of the two groups of patients:(1)activities of daily liv-ing (ADL);(2)bedridden patient self -care skills of and self -care knowledge assessment;(3)satisfaction,compli-cations,the average length of days and discharged patient telephone visit the initiative.Results The discharge self nursing ability raise,health behavior change,self -care knowledge and self -care skills of the observation group were significantly better than the control group,there were statistically significant differences(P <0.05);after discharge from the hospital,bed incidence of complications (6.5%)of the observation group was significantly lower than the control group (18.1%),the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =4.16,P <0.05)and satisfaction degree (91.7 ±6.5)was higher than the control group (87.3 ±7.5),with statistically significant difference (t =3.59,P <0.05),and the average hospitalization day (16.11 ±7.61 )d was lower than that of the control group (19.95 ± 11.55)d,there was statistically significant difference (t =2.20,P <0.05).Conclusion Self care interactive mode is conducive to mining the self -care ability of patients,improve the self -care ability of patients,and has good social benefits.

This paper focuses on the trends in wearable medical devices for the applications in m-health. The state-of-art technologies for the continuous and noninvasive measurements of physiological parameters, implementation platforms of wearable medical devices - e-textile, and body sensor networks are reviewed here with examples of related recent research projects conducted in different countries. In addition, we introduce our recent research project on the e-textile-based health shirt (h-shirt), which can measure arterial blood pressure noninvasively, continuously and cufflessly.

Objective To review the clinical manifestation,diagnosis method,misdiagnosis,risk factors,treatments and prognosis of Stanford B aortic intramural hematoma (IMHB).Methods All of the Stanford B aortic IMHB patients admitted in Wuhan Union hospital from January 2008 to December 2013 were analyzed.The clinical manifestation,diagnosis method,misdiagnosis,managements and prognosis were studied.Furthermore,the effect and long-term survival of different therapies were compared,including medical treatment and endovascular repair.The statistics was performed with SPSS 16.0.Results There were 36 B aortic IMHB patients,and the percent of male patients was 72.22％.The mean age of IMHB was 60.19 ± 11.12.Most patients complained of acute chest and back pain,accompanied with hypertension.Twenty-eight patients (77.78％) received medication therapy,among them,there were 5 patients died of aortic rupture; eight patients (22.22％) received endovascular surgery,one died of cerebral hemorrhage (12.5％).No difference was found between medication therapy and endovascular surgery (17.86％ vs 12.5％,P ＞0.05).Conclusions For simple type B aortic IMHB patients,medication therapy and a dynamic monitoring of full aortic CT angiography was recommended,and for pejorative patients the endovascular treatment should be taken actively.
