1.Early postnatal overnutrition results in insulin resistance in adulthood
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;30(5):368-372
Overnutrition during the early postnatal life,a critical time window for growth and development, may induce metabolic syndrome later in life, including overweight/obesity and insulin resistance. The important target organs of insulin, such as liver, adipose tissue, skeletal muscle, and central nervous systems show insulin resistance. The involved mechanisms include abnormality of insulin signal pathway, increment of free fatty acid and some adipocytokines, oxidative stress, maladjustment of orexigenic and anorexigenic neuron, modifications of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal glucocorticoid axis as well as epigenetic, etc.Hence, overnutrition should be avoided during the early postnatal life,so as to decrease the risk of developing long-term insulin resistance.
2.Isolation and Purification of Kupffer Cells from Rat Liver
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(03):-
Objective To explore a simple, effective and stable method for the isolation and purification of Kupffer cells from rat liver, enabling further study on the structure and function of these cells in vitro. Methods After laparotomy, a catheter was inserted into the portal vein and secured with artery clamp. Then, the rat liver was perfused and digested with solution Ⅰ and solution Ⅱ containing 0.05% collagenase Ⅳ respectively. The cell suspension was centrifuged with isopycnic sedimentation in a two-step Percoll gradient to harvest Kupffer cells. The isolated Kupffer cells were purified by selective adherence after 30 min of cultivation, and identified by evaluation of phagocytosis of India ink and peroxidase staining with DAB through light and electron microscopy. Results It was verified that the viability of isolated Kupfffer cells was more than 90% through Trypan blue staining. Those Kupffer cells could attach to plastic quickly and phagocytose ink, and had the appearance of "fried eggs" in positive peroxidase staining with a purity of 95%. Under the light microscopy, the appearance of newly isolated Kupffer cells was round with uniform shape and size. After two days of culture, Kupffer cells appeared to distend with irregular or stellate shape. The typical features were observed in the transmission electron micrographs. There were numerous pseudopods and occasional cup-like indentations in the cell membrane of Kupffer cells. The cytoplasm contained numerous types of lysosomes and other phagocytotic vesicles. Conclusion The method for isolating and culturing Kupffer cells in this study is effective and stable, and the biological characters are preserved in the cultured cells.
3.Analysis on the interest groups of hospital information disclosure in the United States
Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2017;10(2):32-36
Through the literature combing the interest groups of hospital information disclosure in the United States, the demand and practice of the main interest groups are analyzed. This paper uses policy maker4. 0 software to further analyze the interests of various interest groups, power and the degree of influence by the policy of hospital information disclosure. The results showed that interest groups involved in hospital information disclosure in the Unit-ed States can be mainly divided into five categories:consumers, employers, health insurance companies, hospitals, and decision makers ( government) . In order to balance the cost-effectiveness of various insurance schemes, health insurance companies choose high-quality service providers to restrict poor-service providers and insurers, and hospi-tals need to use public information to manage and improve health care. In order to monitor and improve the quality of medical services, employers need to weigh various insurance plans, health insurance companies have to measure the service quality of themselves and competitors, and hospitals need to manage and improve the medical quality and in-crease market share. As the largest stake in the hospital information disclosure, the results show that the consumer's position on the hospital information disclosure is low support. From the consumer as a main, although the hospital in-formation disclosure practices but the right to speak and other small powers have a limited participation. Analyzing the of the interest groups of hospital information disclosure in the United States, they all push forward the hospital infor-mation disclosure work to provide evidence to support.

Abstract: Objective To observe the expression of peripheral blood stimulating molecules CD80 and CD86 in children with severe hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD), and to analyze the relationship between them and the therapeutic effects of children. Methods The clinical data of 252 children with severe HFMD treated in Wuhan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2017 to March 2021 were collected retrospectively. All children were treated with standardized treatment and the therapeutic effects was evaluated. The baseline data and laboratory test results of children were recorded, and the positive rates of CD80 and CD86 cells in peripheral blood were detected by flow cytometry. Logistic regression was used to analyze the relationship between the above indexes and the therapeutic effects of children. The receiver operating curve (ROC) was drawn to evaluate the value of the above indicators in predicting the therapeutic effects of children. Results After standardized treatment, 48 children were ineffective, and 204 children were effective; the levels of serum CD80 [(2.28±0.84)% vs (2.12±0.33 )%] and CD86 [(3.35±0.96)% vs (2.23±0.41)%] in children were significantly lower than those at admission (t=2.851, 16.991; P<0.05). The levels of blood lactic acid, serum C-reactive protein (CRP), matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), CD80 and CD86 at admission in the ineffective group were significantly higher than those of the effective group (P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that the overexpression of serum CRP (OR=10.929), MMP-9 (OR=1.926), CD80 (OR=3.943) and CD86 (OR=1.947) at admission might be the risk factors of ineffective (all P<0.05). The results of the goodness of fit test for the model showed that, the goodness of fit was high (χ2=6.245, P=0.620); the model collinearity results showed that the variance inflation factors (VIF) values of each variable were <2, and there was no collinearity among the main indicators; the results of the individual independence test for the model showed that Durbin-Watson statistics (D-W)=0.279 and there was poor mutual independence among main indicators. ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve(AUC) of serum CD80 at admission in predicting the therapeutic effects of children was 0.762, the cut-off value was 2.390%, and the specificity, sensitivity and Youden index were 0.598, 0792 and 0.390 respectively; the AUC predicted by CD86 was 0.739, the cut-off value was 3.280%, and the specificity, sensitivity and Youden index were 0.510, 0.896 and 0.406 respectively; the AUC by combined prediction was 0.823, and the specificity, sensitivity and Youden index were 0.696, 0.833 and 0.529 respectively. Conclusions Peripheral blood stimulating molecules CD80 and CD86 are involved in the progression of HFMD. Their overexpression may suggest a high risk of treatment ineffectiveness in children with severe HFMD. Early dynamic monitoring of the expression of serum CD80 and CD86 has a certain predictive value for the therapeutic effect of children.

ObjectiveTo summarize the clinical characteristics of pt osis, one of complications after double eyelid blepharoplasty, and to explore i ts causes and attempt for the resolutions. MethodsThe clinica l symptoms were divided into three types based on the degrees of the ptosis afte r double eyelid blepharoplasty. The causations in 25 cases of different degree o f ptosis after double eyelid blepharoplasty were investigated and analyzed durin g operations. The local adhesive deformities were analyzed so as to take differe nt resolutions for the complication. Results It seemed that th e operative damage to the aponeurosis was the main reason for the complication. So it caused the scar adhesive deformities between the palpabralis aponeurosis a nd the orbital membrane or the skin of upper eyelid, resulting in the difficult y of the palpabralis muscle's contract and unablility of the muscle function in different degrees. Conclusion The ptosis can surely be av oided if we have good knowledge about the mechanism of double fold formation and the anatomy of eyelids and perform the operation meticulously.

Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology 2001;0(03):-
Objective To observe the oculocardiac reflex during the ocular plasty and to study its possible mechanism. Methods A total of 132 cases were studied by dynamic electrocardiography to analyze the changing of heart rate before and after operations. Results Heart rate decreasing by over 10 times during operations was regarded as the positive standard of the oculocardiac reflex. Of all cases the oculocardiac reflex appeared in 41 cases and 53 times were observed including of continual two times happened in 6 cases. In all the reflex ,9 cases was observed in injection of anaesthetic, 5 cases in pulling eyelids, the orbicular muscle and the palpabralis muscle, 21 cases in resecting orbital fats,6 cases in stressing the eyeball after operations. The incidence of oculocardiac reflex was 31.1%. Conclusion Some steps in the process in ocular plasty are more possible to elicit the reflex, such as dragging peripheral eyeball muscles, stressing eyeball and pulling eyelid. The reflex will result in heart rate decreasing, heart rhythm and respiratory changing, even render heart to sudden stop . Therefore, we should operate gentlely and accurately, and also avoid overly stress on eyeball to elicit the oculocardiac reflex.
