1.Distribution of Pathogens and Drug Resistance in Liver Cirrhosis Patients Combined with Spontaneous Bacterial Peritonitis

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the distribution and drug resistance of pathogens in patients of liver cirrhosis combined with spontaneous bacterial peritonitis(SBP),and provide the credible evidence with the clinic diagnosis and the treatment of SBP.METHODS Totally 113 cases of hospitalized cirrhotic patients with SBP were admitted to our hospital between Mar,2000 and Dec,2005.Ascitic fluids of all cases were cultured.The total 114 strains of pathogens were identified and the drug resistance was analyzed.RESULTS Escherichia coli among the pathogens infected the ascitic fluids rated the top(39.5%),the next were Klebsiella pneumoniae,Enterobacter cloacae and Acinetobacter baumannii.The drug resistance of E.coli to imipenem was the lowest,about 2.2%.CONCLUSIONS The diagnosis of SBP with cirrhosis mainly depended on both of ascites results and clinical symptoms.The clinic should reasonably choose the antibiotics according to the test results of the pathogens sensitivity to drugs.
2.Effect of light intensity and light quality on growth and total flavonoid accumulation of Erigeron breviscapus

Objective To study the effect of light intensity and light quality on the growth and total flavonoid accumulation of Erigeron breviscapus. Methods Young plants of E. breviscapus were planted under various color films and light intensities, their biomass and total flavonoid content were determined when plants flowered. Results The biomass and total flavonoid content of individuals under 100% and 80% sunshine were higher than those under 50% sunshine. The biomasses of plants under yellow, red, purple, or blue film were lower than those under white film. Under the blue film, the total flavonoid content of the plant was the highest; while under white film, the total flavonoid yield was the highest. Conclusion Light intensity and light quality significantly affect the growth and total flavonoid accummulation of E. breviscapus. The biomass and total flavonoid yield are the highest when under full sunshine.
3.Regression analysis of factors affecting efficacy of arthroscopic treatment for knee osteoarthritis

Objective To investigate the factors that affecting the efficacy of arthroscopic debridement in the treatment of knee osteoar-thritis. Methods The clinical data of patients with knee osteoarthritis treated with arthroscopic debridement in our hospital from January 2009 to December 2013 was retrospectively analyzed,and the treatment effect was evaluated by Lysholm score. The factors that may affect the efficacy were selected to make a single factor analysis,and then made a multiple logistic regression analysis with the factors which were of sta-tistical significance through single factor analysis. Results Single factor analysis showed that age,course of disease,body mass index,psycho-logical factor,preoperative VAS score,preoperative Kellgren-Lawrence grade,preoperative Lysholm score and postoperative rehabilitation exer-cise were the factors that affected the efficacy of knee arthroscopy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant. Further multivariate analysis showed that high body mass index,high preoperative VAS pain score,low Ly-sholm score,high psychological expectations and high preoperative Kellgren-Lawrence grading were expected to be the independent risk fac-tors of knee arthroscopy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Strict compliance with the postoperative rehabilitation exercise was the protect factor. Conclusion High body mass index,high preoperative VAS pain score,low preoperative Lysholm score,high preoperative Kellgren-Lawrence grading,and high psychological expectations were expected to reduce the effect of surgery,while strict compliance with the postoper-ative rehabilitation exercise can improve the curative effect.
4.Therapeutic effect of early rehabilitation on aged patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated heart failure

Objective: To explore the therapeutic effect of early rehabilitation on aged patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) complicated heart failure (HF). Methods: According to number table method, a total of 168 AMI cases were randomly divided into early rehabilitation group (n=84, received early rehabilitation protocol) and routine treatment group (n=84, received traditional treatment). Incidence rate of complication, bicycling test and walking test result were compared between two groups at the end of rehabilitation program. Results: There were no significant difference in angina pectoris after myocardial infarction, re-infarction, dead cases during hospitalization and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF)etc. between two groups (P>0.05 all). Compared with routine treatment group, there were significant rise in completion rates of bicycling test (77.6% vs. 95.0%) and walking test (65.4% vs. 95.8%) at the end of program in early rehabilitation group, P<0.01 both. Incidence rates of complications caused by long-term lying in bed in early rehabilitation group were significantly lower than those of routine treatment group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). 5.Chloramphenicol-resistant Escherichia coli and Its Resistance Genes Isolated Strains from Old Patients

OBJECTIVE To investigate the chloramphenicol-resistant gene in Escherichia coli strains isolated from the old patients.METHODS Twenty strains of E.coli were clinically isolated.The resistance genes were analyzed by polymerase chain reaction(PCR) and verified by DNA sequencing.RESULTS The positive rates of catB and cmlA were 20% and 20%,respectively.Two strains of E.coli were found containing catB gene and cmlA gene.CONCLUSIONS The resistance to chloramphenicol in these 20 strains of E.coli has a close relation to antimicrobial-resistance gene existed,and the genes of catB and cmlA in E.coli are all firstly found and reported in China.
6.Detection and Drug Resistance Analysis of Ureaplasma urealyticum and Mycoplasma hominis of Urogenital Tract

OBJECTIVE To find out the status about detection and drug resistance of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) and Mycoplasma hominis(Mh) of urogenital tract infection in Shaoxing area of Zhejiang Province.METHODS The detections and drug sensitive tests of Uu and Mh adopting the reagent boxes produced by bioMerieux Company in France were made.RESULTS In 2678 samples of suspicious urogenital tract infection patients,980 samples cultured of mycoplasma were positive,and the positive rate was 36.6%.Among these cases,763 samples(28.5%) were Uu positive;116 samples(4.3%) were Mh positive.In the drug sensitive test,Uu and Mh were most sensitive to PRI,JOS,DOX and TET.To CFLX,OFL,ERY,CM and AM,they had the highest level of drug resistance.CONCLUSIONS The clinical therapy of mycoplasma infection ought to choose the appropriate antibiotics based on the results of the drug sensitive test of the laboratory.
7.Phenotype and Genotype of SXT-resistance in Escherichia coli Isolates from Old Patients

OBJECTIVE To investigate the prevalence of sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim(SXT)-resistance genes and drug resistance in Escherichia coli isolates from the old patients.METHODS Drug resistance of 20 E.coli strains were analyzed.The SXT-resistance genes(sul1,dfrA1,dfrA12 and dfrA17)were detected by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).The PCR products were purified and sequenced.RESULTS In 20 E.coli strains,95.0% were SXT resistant.The positive rate of genes of sul1,dfrA12 and dfrA17 were 80.0%,20.0% and 65.0%.Gene of dfrA1 was not detected out,17 strains of E.coli were found dfrA gene.The SXT-resistance gene dfrA or sul1 was detected in 18 of the 20 strains.CONCLUSIONS The SXT resistance of E.coli can be caused mainly by gene expression of dfrA and sul1,and the genes of sul1,dfrA12 and dfrA17 are all firstly found and reported in China.
8.Detection of Antibiotics-resistant Genes in Meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus

OBJECTIVE To investigate the antimicrobial-resistant genes in meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA).METHODS Forty strains of MRSA were clinically isolated.Nine kinds of antimicrobial-resistant genes were analyzed by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).RESULTS The positive rates of mecA,aac(6′)/aph(2′)and tetM were all 100.0%.The positive rates of ermA/B/C,aph(3′)-Ⅲ,qacA/B,PVL and ant(4′,4″) were 82.5%,67.5%,45.0%,10.0% and 2.5%,respectively.CONCLUSIONS There are higher positive percentages of relevant resistance genes in MRSA isolates clinically.MRSA can induce clone transmition in hospital which should pay,and attention to the disinfection and isolation.
9.?-Lactamase Genes in Klebsiella pneumoniae Strains Isolated from Elderly Patients:An Observation Result

OBJECTIVE To investigate the ?-lactamases in Klebsiella pneumoniae strains isolated from the elderly patients.METHODS We had an observation on 20 strains of Klebsiella pneumoniae about 15 kinds of ?-lactamase gene test(blaTEM,blaSHV,blaLEN,laOKP,blaCTX-M-1 group,blaCTX-M-2 group,blaCTX-M-9 group,blaOXA-1 group,blaOXA-2 group,blaOXA-10 group,blaGES,blaPER,blaVEB,blaDHA,and blaACT-1).RESULTS Six kinds of ?-lactamase genes had been found out from these 20 strains of K.pneumoniae,namely,blaTEM,blaSHV,blaCTX-M-1 group,blaCTX-M-9 group,blaOXA-1 group,and blaDHA.Their positives were 95%,30%,50%,5%,5% and 15%.Among these 20 strains of K.pneumoniae,there were 19 ones of K.pneumoniae which at least contained 1 kind of ?-lactamase genes.Fifteen strains of K.pneumoniae were found containing more than 2 kinds of ?-lactamase genes,at the same time.Some were even tested out having 4 kinds of ?-lactamase genes.CONCLUSIONS The resistance of ?-lactamase antibiotics of these 20 strains of K.pneumoniae has a close relative to the number of ?-lactamase.
10.Application of polyetheretherketone cages and titanium cages combined with pedicle screw fixation operation in lumbar degenerative disease

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of polyetheretherketone( PEEK) cages and titanium cages combined with pedicle screw fixation operation in treatment of lumbar degenerative disease,and provide reference for clinic. Methods The data of 50 patients with lumbar degenerative disease in our hospital from March 2011 to March 2013 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were treated with pos-terior decompression,bone graft and transpedicular screw internal fixation,according to the different cages,they were divided into PEEK group and titanium group. The PEEK group with 25 patients used polyetheretherketone cages,and the titanium group with 25 patients used titanium cages. The JOA scores of patient before surgery,1 month,6 months and 1 year after surgery between two groups were recorded and compared. The ROM of fusion levels and adjacent segment of patients before and after operation between two groups were compared. Results There was no statistical significance of difference in JOA score,Oswestry score and fusion rate between two groups(P>0. 05). There were statistical significance of differences intervertebral disc height change between 2 groups(P<0. 05). The ROM of fusion levels and adjacent segment of patients in PEEK group was better than those in titanium group(P<0. 05). Conclusion The polyetheretherketone cages combined with pedicle screw fixation operation have a good effect in the treatment of patients with lumbar degenerative disease,especially in matter of lumbar spinal motion and intervertebral height lost.
