Objective To study the expressions of α1-AT and VEGF-C in human bronchoalveolarcarcinorrm, and the relation of the expression to the patholo~cM differentiation and clinical stage. Methods All 49 Darffin embedding samples of patients with bronchoalveolar carcinoma were studied. α1-AT and VEGF-C were detected by immunohistochemical SP method.Automated image analyzer was used to quantify α1-AT and VEGF-C expressions. Results The immunohistochemical positive stainings of α1-AT and VEGF-C in brown or dark brown were located in cytopla8m.The expression levels of α1-AT and VEGF-C were not related with the gender, age, tumor position and size, and histology subtypos(P>0.05).It Was found that the expression of α1-AT in patients with local lymph node metastasis was significantly lower than those without node metastasis(P<0.001).It was found that the expression of VEGF-C in patients with local node metastasis significantly higher than th08e without node metastasis(P<0.001).There Was a negative correlation between the expression level of α1-AT and the expression level of VEGF-C in bronchoalveolar carcinoma(r=-0.324,P<0.05).Conclusion α1-AT and VEGF-C could be secreted by bronehoalveolar carcinoma.Bronehoalveolar carcinoma with lower α1-AT expression and higher VEGF-C expression is more likely to have lymph node metastasis.Lower α1-AT expression and higher VEGF-C expression can participate in the mechanism of lymph node metastasis in carcinoma together.

Objective To investigate the prognosis of patients with nasal NK/T cell lymphoma receiving different treatment modalities. Methods From 1990 to 2004, 85 patients with stage ⅠE and ⅡE primary nasal NK/T cell lymphomas were retrospectively studied. Twenty patients received chemotherapy of CHOP regimen alone, 11 patients received radiotherapy only, 6 patients received radiotherapy followed by more than 2 cycles of chemotherapy, and 48 patients received more than 2 cycles of chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy. Survival analysis was performed by the Kaplan-Meier method, the difference between groups was evaluated by the Log-rank test, and the Cox regression model was used for multivariate analysis. Results The 5-year overall survival rate (OS) was 40%. The 5-year OS was 57% and 28% for limited stage ⅠE and extended stage ⅠE(X2 =8. 87, P =0. 003), and 23% for stage ⅡE, which was similar to extended stage ⅠE (X2 =0. 19, P-0. 664). The 5-year OS was 13%, 54% and 47% for chemotherapy alone, radiotherapy followed with or without chemotherapy, and chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy, respectively. The last two groups had better OS than chemotherapy alone (P = 0. 030 and 0.049). The 5-year OS was 58% and 12% for patients achieving complete response (CR) and uncomplete response (X2 = 30.68, P = 0. 000).The CR rate was 56% and 86% for radiotherapy of ≤50 Gy and >50 Gy (X2 =6.11, P=0. 013). The corresponding 5-year relapse-free survival rate was 89% and 84% (X2 =0.36, P=0.551). Of 68 patients receiving initial chemotherapy, the CR rate of those who received ≤2, 3-4 and ≥5 cycles was 0, 20%and 3 3 % , respectively (X2 = 7.65 , P = 0. 022) . For 5 0 patients who received ≥ 3 cycles of initial chemotherapy and 17 patients who received initial radiotherapy of ≥40 Gy, the CR rate was 28% and 88%(χ2= 18. 75, P= 0. 000). In patients with pathological nodular and ulcer type, the CR rates with radiotherapy were higher than with chemotherapy (100%: 38%, χ2 = 7.92, P = 0. 005; and 100%: 11%,χ2 = 14.40, P = 0. 000). Multivariate analysis showed that stage and recent effect were the independent prognostic factors. Conclusions The initial radiotherapy with 50 Gy is appropriate for early stage nasal NK/T cell lymphomas. Combined chemotherapy could be used for extended stage ⅠE and ⅡE, but the outcome of CHOP regimen is poor.

Objective The study aimed to discuss the scientific property and feasibility of back measurement of neonates' temperature. Methods Three measurement methods(axillary, under the jaw and the back) were adopted to measure the temperature for 100 neonates for 7,10 and 30 minutes. The tempera-ture measured by rectum for 3 minutes was set as the control. Results . Temperature by back measure-merit was not different from that measured by other methods in the same time period,P > 0.05.Temperature by back measurement for 7,10 and 30 minutes was not different from that measured by rectum for 3 min-utes,P > 0.05. Temperature by back measurement for 7,10 minutes for neonates using radiation rescue plat-form and warm case was not different from that measured by rectum,P > 0.05.Temperature measured by ax-illary and under the jaw for 30 minutes was different from that measued by rectum, P < 0.05.While temper-ature by back measurement for 30 minutes was not different from that measured by rectum,P > 0.05.Conclusions Back measurement of temperature as well as by axillary and the jaw could be used in pedi-atric department.h could accurately obtain the real temperature of neonates and was not influenced by radi-ation rescue platform and warm case.Besides,it reduced the workload of nurses and was safe, effective, simple, practical and worth applying widely in clinic.

AIM and METHODS: A study of radioimmunoimaging was carried out on Kcnming mice - uterine cervical cancer (U14) using 99mTc labeled monoclonal Au14-1 with a modified Schwartaz method. RESULTS: The bio - distribution showed that radioactivity accumulated in tumor tissue at 12h after 99mTc - Au14- 1 injection in tail vein. The uptake by tumor was 4. 12 % ID/g at 2h and 8. 79 % ID/g at 24h respectively. The tumor/non - tumor (T/NT) radiocativity ratios for organs except kidneys were ranged from 2.02 to 6.71 at 24h post - injection. The image of tumor showed at 12h and clearer at 24h after injection. CONCLUSION: The quality of tumor image was relevant to the T/NT radioactivity ratios. It was demonstrated that 99mTc- Au14-1 has a good capability of localization for tumor.

Objective:To investigate the characteristics of urinary stones composition in children and the differences in their distribution among different sexes and age groups. Methods:The clinical data of 592 children with urinary stones who underwent stone composition analysis using infrared spectroscopy at Hunan Children's Hospital from October 2015 to October 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 430 males and 162 females. The median age was 4.0 (0.3 to 18.0) years old. The stone composition and the differences in its distribution in different sex and age groups were analyzed. Results:A total of 643 urinary stones were analyzed in 592 cases, with 419 (65.2%) single-component stones and 224 (34.8%) mixed-component stones. The main stone components were calcium oxalate in 361 cases (56.1%), ammonium hydrogen urate in 130 cases (20.0%), cystine in 56 cases (8.7%), calcium phosphate in 33 cases (5.1%), uric acids in 33 cases (5.1%), magnesium ammonium phosphate in 25 cases (3.9%), and xanthine in 5 cases (0.8%). The percentage of calcium oxalate stones was higher in women than in men [65.6% (118/180) vs. 52.5% (243/463), P<0.05]. The proportion of upper urinary tract stones was higher in girl than in boy[93.4%(168/180) vs. 73.2%(339/463), P<0.05]. The differences in the composition ratios of calcium oxalate stones, ammonium hydrogen urate, cystine, and magnesium ammonium phosphate stones in different age groups were statistically significant ( P<0.05), with the highest proportion of calcium oxalate stones (35.6%) at 6 to 10 years of age, ammonium hydrogen urate and cystine stones at 1 to 2 years of age (45.4% and 42.9%), and magnesium ammonium phosphate stones at 3 to 5, 6 to 10, and 11 to 18 years of age, the percentage of urinary stones in children was 24%. Conclusions:The main component of urinary stones in children is calcium oxalate, followed by ammonium hydrogen urate and cystine. Age and gender correlate with the distribution of stone components. Calcium oxalate stones are common in females and in children aged 6 to 10 years, ammonium hydrogen urate and cystine stones are common in children aged 1 to 2 years, and magnesium ammonium phosphate stones are more common in children aged 3 to 5 years, 6 to 10 years, and 11 to 18 years.

Objective:To summarize the clinical manifestations, gene variations, diagnosis and treatment of 3 cases with SLC35A2 variations characterized by congenital glycosylation disorder Ⅱm (CDG Ⅱm). Methods:A total of 3 patients admitted to the Department of Pediatrics of Xiangya Hospital of Central South University in China from 2018 to 2020 were examined in detail. The studies till January 2022 were searched with key words of "congenital disorders of glycosylation Ⅱm", " SLC35A2" and "CDG Ⅱm" in both English and Chinese in the databases of China National Knowledge Infrast Ructure (CNKI), Wanfang, Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man and PubMed, and the clinical manifestations, genetic variation, treatments and prognosis of patients with SLC35A2 mutation were summarized. Results:The patients all presented with intractable infantile spasm and global developmental delay, onset in infancy. A variety of antiepileptic treatments had temporary and partial efficacy. Otherwise, proband 2 and 3 presented with abnormal glutamic-pyruvic transaminase and increased platelets. Funduscopy showed dysplasia of the retinal pigment epithelium in both eyes, and they both received D-galactose treatment. A total of 22 relevant case reports, including 99 patients, were collected. The 99 patients all were heterozygous mutations, and a total of 75 different variation sites were reported. The clinical manifestations were characterized by global developmental delay or mental retardation ( n=89), epileptic seizure ( n=75), hypotonia ( n=57), facial deformity ( n=57), skeletal abnormality ( n=50), visual impairment ( n=42), elevated glutamic-pyruvic transaminase ( n=31), gastrointestinal symptoms ( n=28), skin deformity ( n=26), microcephaly ( n=23) and congenital heart disease ( n=12). Craniocerebral magnetic resonance imaging may be normal in the early stage. With age, magnetic resonance imaging may show abnormal white matter signals, brain atrophy, dysplasia of corpus callosum, delayed myelination, enlargement of lateral ventricle, brain stem atrophy and so on. Studies have shown that galactose treatment may be effective. Conclusions:SLC35A2 variants lead to CDG Ⅱm, whose clinical manifestations mainly include epileptic encephalopathy and global developmental delay. Multiple antiepileptic therapies can temporarily or partially control seizures, while oral galactose may improve the clinical symptoms, showing its prospect as a dietary therapy.

Diabetes is a common chronic non-infectious disease. Diabetic patients not only suffer from metabolic disorders, but are also prone to immune deficiencies and are at a higher risk of being infected with human papillomavirus (HPV). Many studies at home and abroad have shown that the HPV infection rate of patients with diabetes is higher than that of non-diabetic patients. Patients with diabetes can benefit from HPV vaccination, and the tolerance is good. HPV vaccination is recommended for diabetic patients. This article reviews the research on diabetes, HPV infection, and HPV vaccine, which will provide references for HPV vaccination in diabetic patients.
