International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2011;19(11):836-840
In recent years, more and more attention has been given to aspirin resistance.Researchers have explored the mechanisms of this important phenomenon from several aspects, including patient compliance, laboratory tests, aspirin dose, genetics, and drug interactions. Many appropriate management methods of aspirin resistance have been proposed, such as improving patient compliance, avoiding drug interactions, adjusting dose, and adding other antiplatelet drugs with potential application value. This article reviews the advances in research on the mechanisms of aspirin resistance.

Objective To study the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-alfa(TNF- α)in serum and peritoneal fluid of women with endometriosis,to explore their roles in pathogenesis of endometriosis. Methods IL-6 and TNF-α levels in peritoneal fluid and serum of 60 patients with endometriosis(34 cases in Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ stage,26 cases in Ⅲ ~ Ⅳ stage)and 30 control cases(not EMS patients)were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). Results Peritoneal fluid and serum levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in EMS group were significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.01),and peritoneal fluid and serum levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in Ⅲ ~Ⅳ stage was siguificantly higher than that in Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ stage(P<0.01). Conclusion IL-6 and TNF-α in peritoneal fluid and serum played an important role in pathogenesis of endometriosis.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2013;27(20):1160-1162
Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a common disease in otolaryngology, and with the development of the therapy technology, most of the cases have reached a cure. But there are still some intractable cases in clinic, signs and symptoms of chronic rhinosinusitis of which still persist after the standardized drugs and technically adequate endoscopic sinus surgery, and this part is clinically named refractory chronic rhinosinusitis (RCRS). In recent studies of the pathogenesis of RCRS, bacterial biofilm (BBF) is attracting more attention. The main emphasis of this review will be to highlight the biological characteristics of BBF, the relationship of BBF and CRS and treatment strategies of BBF positive CRS.

Objective To investigate the improvement of quality of life of patient with Kashin-Beck disease (KBD) after knee joint cavity injection of hyaluronic acid. Methods Fifty KBD patients were selected in Yongshou County Shaanxi Province, and accepted knee joint cavity injection of hyaluronic acid (25 mg) for four times, one time a week.SF-36 health questionnaire was used to evaluate the quality of life of KBD patients, and the quality adjusted life years (QALYs) were calculated after 2 months. Results The total score of the quality of life of KBD patients was improved from 38.81 ± 17.39 to 49.35 ± 17.95 after knee joint cavity injection of hyaluronic acid. The scores of physiological function (PF),body pain (BP),general health (GH),energy (VT),social function (SF) and mental health (MH) in the eight dimensions of SF-36 scale were 54.42 ± 21.25,47.42 ± 20.80,48.00 ± 26.12,61.05 ± 19.14,68.09 ± 28.73 and 68.74 ± 14.85,respectively,after the treatment, which were higher than those before the treatment (41.51 ± 22.11,27.63 ± 11.78,38.76 ± 25.14,51.97 ± 18.14,57.89 ± 30.95 and 56.95 ± 20.47,t =-3.942,-6.344,-2.494,-2.785,-2.819 and-4.245,all P < 0.05).The QALYs of KBD patients increased 0.051 ± 0.044 with 2 months followed up.Conclusion The quality of life (PF,BP,GH,VT,SF and MH) of KBD patients could be significantly improved after knee joint cavity injection of hyaluronic acid.

Journal of China Medical University 2017;46(4):306-308,312
Objective To assess left atrial reservoir function based on left atrial filling volume, the left atrial expansion index and left atrial ejection fraction (LAEF) were measured in patients with left ventricular non-compaction cardiomyopathy (LVNC),using real-time three-dimensional echocardiography (RT3DE),to determine the value for LVNC diagnosis. Methods The study included 20 patients diagnosed with LVNC,including 3 patients, aged 4-16 years;8 patients, aged 17-35 years;9 patients, aged 36-55 years;and 20 healthy age-matched control subjects. All patients underwent two-dimensional echocardiography and RT3DE.Results Two-dimensional echocardiography showed no differences between groups (P > 0.05).RT3DE analysis showed that the average left atrial filling volume/BSA,left atrial expansion index, and LAEF were significantly higher in the LVNC group. Conclusion LVNC is associated with increased left atrial reservoir function.RT3DE shows promise for the diagnosis of LVNC.

Objective To compare the humoral immune response of BALB/c mice immunized by recombinant plasmids PeDNA3.1-M-NS1 and pcDNA3.1-N-NS1.Methods Dengue type 2 virus(DENV2)NS1 gene were constructed two partial sequences(1-413 bp)of the pcDNA3.1 eukaryotic plasmids and pET28a(+)plasmid for prokaryotic expression, identification, purification and quantification. The BALB/c mice were immunized by pcDNA3.1-M-NS1,pcDNA3.1-N-NS1 recombinant plasmids with adjuvant. Each animal received a primary inoculation and two boosts at 1-week intervals. Then the blood samples of BALB/c mice were collected from different experiment groups at day 7,14,28 and 56,respectively after first immunization. The specific IgM/IgG antibodies for NS1 protein in serum were confirmed by indirect ELISA.And then the activities of the specific protective antibody were determined by cytopathic effect inhibition(CPEI).Results Construction of the pET28a(+)-NS1 m/pET28a(+)-NS1n prokaryotic expression plasmid,SDS-PAGE analysis showed that,NS1 gene partial sequence was expressed, both the relative molecular weight of about 22.3×103:Western blot showed that the protein can bind anti-His tag monoclonal antibody;byNi affinity chromatographywith apurity of 92% protein,on the C6/36 cell toxicity, and can be used ELASA detection. The results showed that the levels of specific IgM/IgG antibody and neutralizing antibody activities were increased in pcDNA3.1-M-NS1 booster immunization group than other groups. The result had been observed longer duration of antibody level in peDNA3.1-M-NS1 booster immunization group. Conclusion Humoral immune response were significantly different between pcDNA3.1-M-NS1 and pcDNA3.1-N-NS1 recombinant plasmid immunized mice groups.

Althoughtheevidenceoftheevidence-basedmedicinehasshowedthatrecombinant tissue-type plasminogen activator can effectively open the occluded vessels, because of its short therapeutic time w indow and the risk of bleeding, the thrombolytic rate is general y low er currently. Clinical studies have show ed that telestroke can effectively shorten the treatment time of the patients, increase the thrombolytic rate, reduce the risk of bleeding, and improve the outcomes of patients. Although the application of telestroke is restricted in many w ays, such as technology, policy, and funding, w ith the grow ing maturity of the related technologies, telestroke w il play an increasingly important role in the treatment of stroke.
