The nanoparticle-based electrochemical technology for early detection of cancer is an imjportant research topic in the area of biomedicine.This article introduces the concept of tumor marker and principle of electrochemical detection of the tumor marker.The applications of nanoparticles in electrochemical early detection of cancer are reviewed in detail.Finally,the prospected application of research is discussed.

Objective To improve the recognition of the 8p11 myeloproliferative syndrome(EMS).Methods Here a case with EMS was reported and the medical literature on this topic were reviewed. Results The patient was definitely dignosed and was treated with DA regimen. Conclusion EMS is a rare hematologic malignancy with poor prognosis and short life span. The small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitors may bring hope in the future for patient with EMS.

BACKGROUND:Studies addressing coronary heart disease are largely dependent on the establishment of myocardial infarction animal models. It is very important that exploring a safe method with easy operation, less damage, long time survival and high survival rate for myocardial infarction animal model OBJECTIVE:To compare the pros and cons of two kinds of thoracotomy anterior descending coronary artery ligation to do myocardial infarction animal model. METHODS: Thirty healthy male New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into three groups: control, median sternotomy incision, and left sternal incision. The anterior descending coronary artery was ligated after thoracotomy. The operation time, amount of intraoperative bleeding, postoperative food intake, and recovery time of eating were monitored during the surgery and within 24 hours after the surgery. And myocardial enzyme indexes were also monitored within 24 hours after the surgery. Rabbits were detected with ultrasonic echocardiogram at 4 weeks. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Different levels of ST segment elevation appeared in median sternotomy and left sternal incision groups by echocardiogram. The success rate of modeling was 70% in median sternotomy incision group, and 80% in left sternal incision group. Within 24 hours post-surgery, the myocardial enzyme indexes in the two groups were significantly increased compared with before surgery (P < 0.05). At 4 weeks, the left ventricular ejection fraction and the left ventricular shortening fraction were significantly decreased when compared to before surgery (P< 0.05). The operation time was shorter, the amount of bleeding was less, the time of eating recovery was less and the amount of eating was much in median sternotomy group than in left sternal incision, with significant differences between he two groups (P < 0.05). The median sternotomy incision for the ligation of anterior descending coronary artery is better than the left sternal incision to establish myocardial infarction models.

Background and purpose:The lymph node metastatic model of rectal tumor is a useful tool for the research on tumor occurrence, development, metastasis and antineoplastic therapy. There are few reports about establishment of larger animal model. This study aimed to establish feasible and reproducible lymph node metastatic models of VX2 tumor in rabbits.Methods:The VX2 tumor tissue was put into the puncture needle. The VX2 tumor tissue in the needle was orthotopically transplanted into the rectal wall of the New Zealand white rabbits successfully. Twenty New Zealand white rabbits were transplanted. Two experimental rabbits were scanned by MR weekly. Tumor growth curve and lymph node numbers were observed on MR. Experimental rabbit tumor volumes were measured by MR post-processing software. The rectal tumor and surrounding lymph nodes were resected, and the specimens were ifxed. The sections were stained with HE. We explored the relationship between tumor volume and growth time, the number of metastatic lymph nodes and tumor volume, respectively.Results:Thirteen models were successfully established with a rate of 65%. Tumors limited in the rectal wall were observed on the fourth week. Tumor size increased over time. There was significant difference in the tumor volume between different periods (growth cycle number) (F=52.865,P<0.05). There was a signiifcantly positive correlation between tumor volume and the growth cycle number (r=0.910,P<0.05). The metastatic lymph nodes could be observed when VT>9 cm3. The number of metastatic lymph node increased obviously from the ninth week. The more tumor volume, the greater the number of metastatic lymph nodes was observed (F=92.531,P<0.05). There was a signiifcantly positive correlation between the number of metastatic lymph nodes and the tumor volume (r=0.945,P<0.05).Conclusion:Metastatic lymph node models of VX2 tumor in New Zealand white rabbits were established successfully. This model has some value in the research on local growth, invasion mechanism, lymph node metastasis and biological characteristics of rectal cancer.

Althoughtheevidenceoftheevidence-basedmedicinehasshowedthatrecombinant tissue-type plasminogen activator can effectively open the occluded vessels, because of its short therapeutic time w indow and the risk of bleeding, the thrombolytic rate is general y low er currently. Clinical studies have show ed that telestroke can effectively shorten the treatment time of the patients, increase the thrombolytic rate, reduce the risk of bleeding, and improve the outcomes of patients. Although the application of telestroke is restricted in many w ays, such as technology, policy, and funding, w ith the grow ing maturity of the related technologies, telestroke w il play an increasingly important role in the treatment of stroke.

Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) in invasive micropapillary carcinoma (IMPC) of breast.Methods Immunohistochemical streptavidin-biotin method(LSAB) method for CD68 and CD163 were performed on 68 cases of IMPC and 72 cases of invasive ductal carcinoma,not otherwise specified(IDC-NOS).Results CD68 and CD163 were mainly expressed in IMPC interstitial macrophages in the cytoplasm or on the membrane,and occasionally expressed in tumor nest.CD68 positive rate in tumor stroma in IMPC (47/68,69.1％) was higher than in IDC-NOS group (37/72,51.5％),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P =0.022).CD163 positive rate in tumor stroma between the two groups was not statistically significant(P =0.682).CD68 + macrophages in IMPC stroma were positively correlated with pathological stage,histological grade,lymph node metastasis,vascular invasion,and Ki67 expression(P ＜ 0.05),and inversely correlated with the expression of ER(P =0.037).Univariate analysis showed that CD68 + macrophages in the stroma of IMPC were significantly associated with progression-free survival(P =0.027),Conclusion The expression of TAMs was different in different types of breast carcinoma and widely expressed in IMPC,which may play a significant role in high invasion and metastasis behavior of IMPC.

OBJECTIVE:To establish the method for simultaneous determination of paeoniflorin,amygdalin,ferulic acid and ligustrazine in Modified buying huanwu decoction.METHODS:RP-HPLC method was adopted.The determination was performed on YMC C18 column with the mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.1％ phosphoric acid (gradient elution) at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min.The detection wavelengths were set at 320 nm (femlic acid),230 nm (paeoniflorin),207 nm (amygdalin),280 nm (ligustrazine).The column temperature was 30 ℃,and sample size was 10 μL.RESULTS:The linear ranges of paeoniflorin,amygdalin,femlic acid and ligustrazine were 0.191 2-1.912 μg/mL (r=0.999 6),0.117 4-1.174 μg/mL (r=0.999 6),0.011 5-0.115 μg/mL (r=0.999 8) and 0.001 66-0.016 6 μg/mL(r=0.999 7),respectively.The limits of quantitation were 1.912,1.174,0.115,0.016 6 μg/mL,and the limits of detection were 0.25,0.40,0.05,0.008 5 μg/mL,respectively.RSDs of precision,stability and reproducible tests were all lower than 2.0％.The recoveries were 96.9％-100.3％ (RSD=1.3％,n=6),95.1％-100.3％ (RSD=2.2％,n=6),95.3％-100.2％ (RSD=2.0％,n=6)and 97.0％-100.0％ (RSD=1.3％,n=6).CONCLUSIONS:The method is reliable,simple and accurate,and is suitable for simultaneous determination of paeoniflorin,amygdalin,ferulic acid and ligustrazine in Modified buyang huanwu decoction.

Objective To explore and analyze the clinical effect of enhanced recovery after surgery to tibial plateau fractures patients applied arthroscopic minimally invasive treatment. Methods A total of 60 tibial plateau fractures patients were selected in our orthopedics department from January 2016 to July 2017 and who applied arthroscopic minimally invasive treatment, according to the last two-digit number of patient ID, divided them into observation group (n=30) and control group (n=30) randomly. The control group used regular perioperative strategies. The observation group used multidisciplinary cooperation fast track surgery idea, through preoperative assessment and education, nutrition and fasting, advance pre-rehabilitation and preventive analgesia; intraoperative optimization of anesthesia, body fluid management and body temperature control; postoperative nutritional support, multimodal analgesia, early ambulation and rehabilitation exercises, implied standardized and professional perioperative overall optimization management. The differences of the condition of 6 h, 12 h, 24 h after surgery, VAS score on discharge, time of first ambulation, active knee flexion 120°days; self-care ability at discharge and AKSS score one month after surgery between 2 groups were compared. Results The VAS scores 6 h, 12 h, 24 h after surgery and at discharge were 4.48 ± 1.18, 3.81 ± 1.68, 3.05 ± 1.63, 2.65 ± 1.65 in the observation group, and were 5.45±1.15, 4.15±1.05, 3.71±1.15, 3.23±1.68 in the control group. The differences were statistically significant (t=0.796~0.902 , P<0.05). The time of first ambulation, active knee flexion 120° days, self-care ability at discharge and AKSS scores one month after surgery were (5.61±1.4) hours, (4.01± 1.1) days, 80.22±3.6, 71.89±6.56 and 64.13±6.15 in the observation group, and (35.8±8.1) hours, (6.82± 1.6) days, 64.25±3.8, 63.45±8.36 and 60.95±8.98 in the control group. The differences were statistically significant (t=2.789~10.200, P<0.05). Conclusion Enhanced recovery after surgery to tibial plateau fractures patients applied arthroscopic minimally invasive treatment is worthy of being popularized as it’s beneficial to tibial plateau fractures patients. It can also fasten recovery and improve quality of life for postoperative patients.

Objective To investigate the association of occupational stress and 5-hydroxytryptamine 2A (5-HT2A) receptor gene polymorphisms with depression.Methods In November 2010,cluster sampling was used to select 589 workers in a thermal power plant as study subjects.Questionnaires were used to investigate demographic features and occupational stressors.Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism was used to detect the genotypes of T102C and A-1438G in 5-HT2A receptor gene in 589 workers.Results High-level daily hassles (OR =3.013,95 ％ CI 1.642～5.530),more negative emotion (OR =4.808,95％CI 2.662～8.681),more body needs(OR=1.890,95％CI 1.034～3.453),and severe role conflict(OR=1.815,95％CI 1.002～3.288) were risk factors for depression,while high rewards (OR=0.424,95％CI 0.226～0.796) was the protective factor against depression (all P＜0.05).There were no significant differences in T102C genotype and allele distributions between the groups with and without depression(P＞0.05);there was a significant difference in A-1438G genotype distribution between the groups with and without depression (x2=9.573,P＜0.05),while there was no significant difference in A-1438G allele distribution between these groups (P＞0.05).The risk of depression in the workers with high-level daily hassles who carried TC genotype (OR=4.473,95％CI 1.161～17.238) or CC genotype (OR=5.176,95％CI 1.367～19.593) of T102C was 4.473 and 5.176 times that in those with low-level daily hassles who carried TT genotype,and the risk of depression in the workers with more negative emotions who carried TC genotype (OR=5.667,95％CI 1.204～26.673) or CC genotype (OR=8.114,95％CI 1.747～37.677) of T102C was 5.667 and 8.114 times that in those with less negative emotion who carried TT genotype.The risk of depression in the workers with high-level daily hassles who carried AG genotype (OR=4.505,95％CI 2.215～9.162) or GG genotype (OR=6.484,95％CI 2.562～16.414) of A-1438G was 4.505 and 6.484 times that in those with low-level daily hassles who carried AA genotype,and the risk of depression in the workers with more negative emotion who carried AG genotype (OR=4.877,95％CI 2.326～10.223) or GG genotype (OR=9.090,95％CI 3.491～23.673) of A-1438G was 4.877 and 9.090 times that in those with less negative emotion who carried AA genotype.The risk of depression in the workers with higher rewards who carried AG genotype (OR =0.152,95％ CI 0.074～0.310) or GG genotype (OR=0.384,95％ CI 0.153 ～0.964) of A-1438G was 0.152 and 0.384 times that in those with lower rewards who carried AA genotype.Conclusion Occupational stress is associated with the development of depression and interacts with 5-HT2A receptor gene polymorphisms.
