4.Diagnosis and treatment of on-cirrhotic portal hypertension
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(07):-
Non-cirrhotic portal hypertension(NCPH)is a group of diseases that show evidences of portal hypertension but no cirrhosis is present.Common causes of NCPH include pre-sinusoidal portal lesions such as portal vein thrombosis, congenital liver fibrosis and idiopathic portal hypertension, and post-sinusoidal portal lesions. The major feature of this group of diseases is well preserved liver function in spite of prominent portal hypertensive manifestations such as esophageal varices/gastrointestinal bleeding and splenomegaly/hypersplenism.Careful differentiation from cirrhosis requires thorough clinical, radiological and pathological investigation.Preventing and control of variceal bleeding and hypersplenism through medical, endoscopic and interventional procedures yield good prognosis in most of the patients with NCPH.
5.Malignant lymphoma of head and neck:an analysis of 139 cases
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(04):-
Objective:To study the clinical characteristics of malignant lymphomas of the head and neck. Methods:The clinical data of 139 patients with malignant lymphomas of the head and neck were retrogradely analyzed, and the long term follow up was carried out. Results:Among all the cases there were 128 non Hodgkin's lymphoma(NHL) and 11 Hodgkin's disease(HD). The average ages of patients with HD and NHL were 41.8 and 50.0 years old respectively. There were lymphadenopathy in all patients with HD and 72.7% of those with NHL. Extranodal involvement occurred in 27.3% HD patients and 75.8% NHL patients; general symptoms appeared in 45.5% HD patients and 37.5% NHL patients. Most patients received chemotherapy of CHOP and improved CHOP scheme. The average follow up time was 23.4 months. Twelve patients died and the 3 year survival rate was 55.6%.Conclusion:In our group, the patients present an older age and NHL is more common than HD.The cases with cervical lymphadenopathy are easy to be diagnosed, and the clinical stage classification is useful for the prognosis.
6.SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPIC AND X-RAY MICROANALYTIC METHODS OF 5'-NUCLEOTIDASE AND p-NITROPHENYLPHOSPHATASE IN ISOLATED NEURONS
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1989;0(S1):-
The reaction product of cerium used for. localization of 5'-nuclcotidase (5'- Nase) and p-nitrophenylphosphatase(p-NPPase) is highly electron-dense but lacks sufficient contrast at the light microscopic level. We describe two methods for converting the reaction product of cerium to colored compounds visible by light microscopy. Using the Ce-Pb method and Ce-Pb-AgS method, the reaction prod- ucts of 5'-Nase and p-NPPase in isolated neurons of frontal cortex of rabbit were visualized by light microscopy. Aftcr application of the Ce-Pb-AgS method, surface of isolated neurons exhibtied crystalline precipitates by scanning electron microscopy(SEM). X-ray microanalysis of these crystals revealed the presence of high amounts of Ce, S/Pb and Ag. These results demonstrate that enzyme activity could be verified by SEM in conjunction with elementary microprobe analysis.
7.Clinical observation on Yinxingdamo Injection for cerebral infarction on 120 cases
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(04):-
AIM:To observe the clinical effect of Yinxingdamo Injection (extract of Folium ginkgo, Dipyridamole) in the treatment of cerebral infarction. METHODS: 170 cases with acute cerebral infaction were grouped at random. The treatment group (120 cases) was given 20mL of Yinxingdamo Inection in 500mL of 5% Glucose Injection by IV infusion, once a day for 14 days. The control group (50 cases) was given 20mL Compound Danshen Injection in 500mL of 5% Glucose Injection by IV infusion, also once a day for 14 days. RESULTS: The total effective rate of the treatment group was 82.5%. It was higher than that of the control group (62%) ( P
8.The changes and significance of serum NT-proBNP levels in mice with viral myocarditis
Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui 2015;50(12):1753-1757
Objective To investigate the changes and significance of serum N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide ( NT-proBNP) levels in mice model with viral myocarditis( VMC) . Methods 100 Balb/c mice were randomly di-vided into VMC group ( n=60 ) and control group ( n=40 ) . Mice in VMC group were injected intraperitoneally coxsackievirus B3 ( CVB3 ) , while mice in control group were treated with the same amount of virus-free DMEM cul-tivate liquid. 10 mice of each group were sacrificed on 3, 7, 14, and 28th day after VMC modeling and their blood and heart tissues were collected. The serum NT-proBNP levels in two groups of mice were detected by ELISA. Pathological changes in myocardial tissue were examined with hematoxylin and eosin stain. The relationship be-tween serum NT-proBNP concentration and cardiac pathology score of VMC group at different time points were ana-lyzed. Results The serum NT-proBNP levels of VMC group were significantly higher than that of control group( P<0. 05 ) . There was a significant statistical difference between NT-proBNP levels of VMC group at different time points( P <0. 05 ) . The NT-proBNP level was positively correlated with myocardial histopathology scores ( r =0. 829 , P<0. 05 ) . Conclusion Serum NT-proBNP levels may reflect severity of myocardial injury in mice with VMC. NT-proBNP can be used as one of serum indicators to judge the risk stratification in mice with VMC.
9.Radiotherapy for prostate cancer
Cancer Research and Clinic 2008;20(12):861-863
With the development of conformal radiotherapy, radiotherapy has been used not only in localized prostate cancer as curative therapy. In the treatment of locally advanced prostate cancer, adjuvant therapy after radical prostatectomy and combination therapy with androgen can be used, and can relieve the patients with advanced prostate cancer. The indication, efficiency and side effects of the different techniques are reviewed as follows.
10.Analysis of Diagnosis on TCM Pathogenesis of Disorders of Depression with Metabolic Sydrome from TCM Psychosoma Theory
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2017;41(2):124-126
[Objective]This paper will pitch-in TCM psychosomatic theory(from Huangdi Neijing),exploring the disorders of depression with the metabolic syndrome and pathogenesis of traditional Chinese medicine,so as to provide effective ideas for the treatment of depression with metabolic syndrome.[Methods]:Through expansion on traditional chinese medicine's basic understanding of depression with metabolic syndrome, utilizing basic TCM viscera-state theory, from the causes of this disease, key factors, pathogenesis transformation three aspects to discuss the pathogenesis of the disease. [Results]By discussing the heart, liver, spleen function of zang-fu organs and their mutual relations in the role and impact of the disease development process, this paper thinks of the nature of disease as asthenia in origin and asthenia in superficiality, which locates in spleen, has association with heart and liver, phlegm, qi and blood stasis is the disease of pathological product of pathological factors to promote the development of the disease.Kidney would be involved in it with long course of disease. The therapy could focus on tonifying spleen, nourishing heart and soothing liver, with methods of promoting the circulation of qi,removing blood stasis and reducing phlegm, meanwhile looking out to protect kidney.[Conclusion]Disorder of depression and pathogenesis of TCM of metabolic syndrome,to guide the clinical treatment of the disease and the theory of traditional Chinese medicine development has practical significance.
