1.Simultaneous Quantitative Determination of Ephedrine and Strychnine in Traditional Chinese Medicine "Joufensan" by HPLC
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(11):-
A rapid, simple and sensitive method was establised for the evaluatiou of Chinese traditional medicine "Joufenaan" by HPLC. Sample of "Joufensan" was extracted by solvent, and the extraction analysed by HPLC using an inertsil ODS column with a solvent system, acetonitrile-water-phospboric acid-sodium dodecyl sulfate(38:62:0.1:0.5) at 40℃ and UV detector. The new method was reliable for the evaluation of ephedrine aud strychnine in "Joufensan".

Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(03):-
AIM: To study the difference in main chemical composition and content between(Radix et Rhizoma Rhei;Rhizoma Coptidis;Radix Scutellariae) dispensing granules and standard decoction. METHODS: 3D-HPLC was used with MeOH(A)、0.1%H_3PO_4-H_2O(include 0.02 mol/L KH_2PO_4,pH=3)(B) gradient elution, the fingerprint chromatogram of Xiexintang Dispensing Granules and standard decoction were set up. RESULTS: 30 peaks were indicated, the relative retention time and relative peak area were obtained. CONCLUSION: (The) difference between Xiexintang Dispensing Granules and standard decoction is obvious, the contents of the former are higher.

AIM: To study the difference in main chemical composition and content between Mahuangtang Herb Ephedrae;Radix et Rhizoma Gly Cyrrhizae;Ramulus Cinnamoni;Semen Armeniacea Amarum;dispensing granule and its standard decoction. METHODS: RP-HPLC was used to create fingerprinits with MeOH-0.01 mol/L KH_2PO_4(H_3PO_4 adjusted pH=3),a gradient eluting agent. RESULTS: 26 co-possessing peaks were indicated, the retention time and relative peak area were obtained. CONCLUSION: The difference between Mahuangtang dispensing granule and standard decoction is not obvious, the former is rational.

Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(01):-
Objective: To establish the identification method of Gegen Qinlian Preparation(Radix Puerariae, Radix Scutellariae, Rhizoma Coptidis, and Radix Glycyrrhizae) by three dimensional HPLC. Methods: Puerain, baicalin and berberine were dissolved with 70% methanol as a reference solution. Gegen Qinlian preparation was analysed by three dimensional HPLC, methanol water (27∶73 containing 0.7‰ sodium lauryl sulfate and 0.7‰ triethylamine) as a mobile phase was used by linear gradient elution. Conclusion: The scientific and well defined identification of three dimensional HPLC can be showed by Gegen Qinlian Preparation research and this method is accurate and reliable.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(12):-
Object To study the chemical constituents of the underground part of Glehnia littoralis Fr. Schimidt ex Miq. Methods Eight compounds were isolated from EtOAc-soluble fraction of ethanol extract of G. littoralis by repeated chromatography over silica gel. Their structures were determined on the basis of their spectral data. Results They were identified as falcalindiol (Ⅰ), (8E)-1, 8-heptadecadiene-4, 6-diyne-3, 10-diol (Ⅱ), bergapten (Ⅲ), cnidilin (Ⅳ), xanthotoxin (Ⅴ), salicylic acid (Ⅵ), vanillic acid (Ⅶ), ferulic acid (Ⅷ). Conclusion Compounds Ⅱ and Ⅵ-Ⅷ were isolated from this plant for the first time.
