AIM: To explore the main risk factors related to the incidence of endophthalmitis in patients after cataract surgery in China and to provide evidence for prevention.METHODS: The results of 5 studies on the main risk factors of endophthalmitis in patients after cataract surgery were analyzed by Meta-analysis method.
RESULTS: The pooled odds ratio values and 95% CI of age(≥70), diabetes, vitreous overflow, operative time ( ≥ 10min ), common operating room and control of using time of topical anesthetic were 1. 81(95% CI: 1. 43-1. 69),3. 66 (95% CI: 1. 64 - 8. 16),2. 21 (95% CI: 1. 46 -3. 32),3. 54 (95% CI: 2. 47 - 5. 06),2. 77 (95% CI: 2. 07 -3. 72),2. 09(95% CI: 1. 53-2. 86).
CONCLUSION: The main risk factors of endophthalmitis were the age(≥70), diabetes, vitreous overflow, operative time(≥10min), common operating room and control of using time of topical anesthetic.

Risk monitoring of new Chinese patent anti-hepatoma drugs is tracking recognized risks and residual risks, identifying emerging risk and ensure the implementation of the plan, estimating the process of reducing effectiveness. The paper is mainly through understanding the status of Chinese patent anti-hepatoma drugs, the content, characteristic and analysis method of dynamic risk monitoring, and then select the risk control indicators, collect risk information. Finally, puts forward the thought of anti-hepatoma drugs listed evaluation in our country, and try to establish the model of dynamic risk management of anti-hepatoma drugs.

Emergency medicine and critical care medicine are the new contents in standardized training of residency.The system of standardized training residency lacks for a traditional way to refer.According to the characteristic of the subjects and the practical situation,this paper discusses the methods of training in studying basic theory,idea education,improving technology and strain capability on improving the capability of standardized training residency in internal intensive medicine.

Astragalus polysaccharide has been widely used in food and medicinal industry owing to its health-promoting properties. In order to characterize better the relationship among molecular weight, structure-activity and activities, a simple method was used different concentration of ethanol including 30% (PW30), 50% (PW50), 70% (PW70), 75% (PW75), 80% (PW80) and 90% (PW90) to precipitate Astragalus polysaccharides into different molecular weight. As a result, PW90 showed smooth surface and the strongest antioxidant activity among these six fractions (P < 0.05). In conclusion, graded ethanol precipitation was a simple method to separate Astragalus polysaccharides into different molecular weight with different antioxidant activity fractions.

Traditional Chinese ancient prescriptions have been used for treatment of liver cancer for a long history and the scientific and rational compatibility is a great wealth for modern research and development (R&D) of new drugs. The research and development of new drugs are often accompanied with a large investment, a long cycle and a high risk, especially for the anti-tumor drugs R&D which are facing more risks and lower successful rate. In this research, the regularity of compatibility of drugs was analyzed from 124 anti-hepatoma ancient prescriptions by computer program. The results can offer help to the R&D of anti-hepatoma new drugs and reduce the risk of drug screening. In addition, we surveyed 22 companies in this field from six provinces such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and so on and obtained 240 risk assessment questionaires. Then we used qualitative analysis method to interpret the greatest impacts for the risks in the process of R&D, production and sales of anti-hepatoma new drugs. The study provides a basis for anti-liver cancer drugs R&D researchers, who can take effective measures to reduce the R&D risks and improve successful rate.

A bacterial strain DN25, effective on cyanide-degradation, was isolated from contaminated soil and identified as Alcaligenes sp. on the basis of phenotype analysis and 16S rDNA sequence analysis. It showed great tolerance to the cyanide, which can grow in the medium containing 500mg CN -/L. The suitable condition for the cell growth and boitransformation was pH8.0 and 30oC and the transformation rate for 500mg CN - /L could achieve 99% in 10 h. It has also been found that the screened strain had the ability of K 4Fe(CN) 6 transformation with 96% of transformation rate at 12 h for the concentration of 500 mg CN /L.

To explore the effects of psychological capital social support and their interaction on job satisfaction in Methods natural gas field workers. A total of 1 473 workers from a natural gas field were selected as the research subjects ， using convenient sampling method. Job Satisfaction Questionnaire Psychological Capital Questionnaire and Social Support ， Results Scale were used to investigate the scores of job satisfaction psychological capital and social support level. The ， ， detection rates of job satisfaction psychological capital and social support in the high level group were 55.9% 52.5% and ， 48.1% respectively. The detection rates of job satisfaction of workers in the high level psychological capital group and high level （ social support group were higher than those in the low level psychological capital group and low level social support group 67.4% vs ， vs ， P ） 43.3% 71.9% 41.2% all <0.01 . The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that psychological capital ［ （CI） （ - ） and social support had positive effects on job satisfaction odds ratio and 95% confidence interval were 1.58 1.17 2.41 （ - ）， ， P ］ ， and 2.53 1.82 3.52 respectively all <0.01 . Moreover the psychological capital and social support had additive effect on ［ CI （ - ）， CI job satisfaction relative excess risk of interaction and 95% was 3.07 1.02 5.12 attributable proportion and 95% was （ - ）， CI （ - ）］， 0.48 0.35 0.61 synergy index and 95% was 2.34 1.72 3.16 but there was no multiplication interaction between （P ）Conclusion psychological capital and social support >0.05 . Psychological capital and social support can positively affect job satisfaction of natural gas workers. There is an additive interaction between psychological capital and social support on job ， satisfaction but no multiplicative interaction is found. Objective To explore the effect of calcium dobesilate on the apoptosis of retinal cells in diabetic rats .Methods Thirty-six Wistar rats were randomly into three groups:normal group ( n =12 ) , model group(n=12), test group(n=12).The rat in model and test groups of diabetes was given with high fat diet for 8 weeks, and then was made by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin ( STZ ) .After successfully es-tablished the diatetes animal model , the rats in test group was lavaged with 150 mg? kg -1? d-1 calcium dobesilate continuous 8 weeks, the rats in normal and model group were given same amount of normal saline . Neuronal apoptosis in retina was detected by TdT -mediated dUTP nick end labeling ( TUNEL ) . The expression of B -cell lymphoma -2 ( Bcl-2 ) , Bcl -2 assaciated X protein ( Bax ) and p53 protein and mRNA were assayed by Western blot and reverse transcription -polymer-ase chain reaction.The activity of cysteinyl aspartate specific proteinase 3 ( Caspase 3) was measured by spectrophotometry .Results Compared with normal group , apoptotic index of retina , the expression of Bax , p53 protein and mRNA , the activity of Caspase 3 was increased ( P<0.01 ) , the expression of Bcl -2 protein and mRNA was decreased in model group ( P<0.01 ) . The expression of Bax , Bcl -2 and p53 mRNA was ( 0.20 ±0.03 ) vs ( 1.00 ±0.09 ) , ( 1.39 ±0.10 ) vs (0.21 ±0.02);(0.28 ±0.05) vs (0.88 ±0.08), in normal group and model group, respectively.Compared with model group,apoptotic index of retina (12.40 ±1.24), the expression of Bax (0.57 ±0.05) and p53 (0.35 ±0.03) protein, the expression of Bax ( 0.56 ±0.05 ) and p53 ( 0.36 ±0.04 ) mRNA, the activity of Caspase 3 (1.72 ±0.17) in test group were all decreased.While the expression of Bcl -2 protein (0.63 ±0.06) and mRNA (0.74 ±0.04 ) were increased in test group ( all P<0.01 ) .Conclusion The calcium dobesilate inhibit neuronal apoptosis by regulation expression of cell apoptotic related protein .

AlM: To measure the retinal electrical activities in patients with diabetic retinopathy ( DR ) by applying multifocal electroretinogram ( mf-ERG) and evaluate the degree of visual damage at different stages of DR
METHODS:Thirty cases ( 30 eyes ) aged 50 ~70 years old, excluding other diseases, were as normal group, and 99 cases ( 99 eyes ) diagnosed with type 2 diabetes were as experiment group. The cases received mf-ERG examination in the standard state, respectively. The results were statistically analyzed
RESULTS: For DR patients with early and background stage, the reaction density of mf - ERG P1 wave decreased as the disease worsened, significantly reduced in non - proliferating stage and decreased more significantly in the background of the stage Ⅲ. This showed that in the macula, electrical activity had weakened before the retina without visual or morphological changes, and with the development of the disease, the electrical activity decreased more obviously.
CONCLUSlON:mf-ERG can evaluate the severity of DR, especially suit in the early and background period of DR.
