Objective To explore the professional identity of medical students with long education periods and its influencing factors.Methods Survey on professional identity was conducted through self-designed questionnaire among 665 medical students with long education periods of every grade.Single factor analysis of variance and t test were applied to do statistical analysis.Results There were significantly statistical differences in influencing factors of professional identity among every grade of long periodical medical students (P ＜ 0.05).There were significant statistical differences among influencing factors of sex,educational background of parents and residing(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Because of characteristics of medical education and psychological changes of students,professional identity of students shows a first decline and then an increase.Personal and environmental factors exert influences on professional identity at varying degrees.

Objective: To analyze the influencing factors for the 20-69-year-old residents in Anhui Province with substandard physiques, so as to provide a basis for improving the physiques of population. Methods : The 2014 physical fitness survey data of residents aged 20-69 years in Anhui Province were collected, including demographic information, physical exercise status and physical indicators ( height, weight, vital capacity, blood pressure and so on ). The physiques of residents was rated according to the "National Fitness Standards" ( 2003 edition ) . The multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors for substandard physiques in different age groups. Results: Among 39 803 residents recruited, 5 081 were rated as substandard physiques and the rate was 12.77%. The rates of substandard physiques in the residents aged 20-<40, 40-<60 and 60-69 years were 11.08%, 13.11% and 16.74%, respectively. The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age, gender, household registration, education level, occupation and time spent each exercise were the influencing factors for substandard physiques among the residents aged 20-<40 years ( P<0.05 ); age, household registration, education level, occupation and physical exercise were the influencing factors for substandard physiques among the residents aged 40-<60 years ( P<0.05 ); age, gender, education level, occupation, physical exercise and time spent each exercise were the influencing factors for substandard physiques among the residents aged 60-69 years ( P<0.05 ). Conclusions The residents aged 20-69 years in Anhui Province have higher rate of substandard physiques in the 2014 survey. Age, education level, occupation and physical exercise may affect physical fitness and vary in different age groups, thus interventions should be carried out according to age.

Objective To investigate the correlation between serum retinol-binding protein 4 (RBP4) level and stroke severity and short-term outcome in patients with acute ischemic stroke.Methods From January 2017 to December 2017,patients with acute ischemic stroke admitted to the Department of Neurobgy,the Third Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University and who did not receive thrombolytic or endovascular treatment were enrolled retrospectively within 2 weeks of onset.The serum RBP4 levels were measured within 24 h of admission and the demographics and baseline clinical data of the patients were documented.On the day of admission,the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) was used to assess the degree of neurological deficit;≤8 was defined as mild stroke and ＞8 was defined as moderate to severe stroke.The modified Rankin scale was used to assess the short-term outcomes at the time of discharge or 14 days after onset;0 to 2 were defined as good outcomes,and ＞ 2 was defined as poor outcome.Results A total of 235 patients were enrolled,including 101 females (43％) and 134 males (57％);aged (66.8 ± 1.7) years (range 28-93 years).There were 200 mild strokes (85.1％) and 35 moderate to severe strokes (14.9％);171 (72.8％) had good outcomes and 64 (27.2％) had poor outcomes.Univariate analysis showed that the serum RBP4 level in the moderate to severe stroke group was significantly lower than that in the mild stroke group (29.28 ± 10.43 mg/L vs.36.88 ± 10.61 mg/L;t =3.920,P ＜ 0.001),and the RBP4 level in the poor outcome group was significantly lower than that in the good outcome group (32.03 ± 11.33 mg/L vs.37.14± 10.44 mg/L;t=3.264,P=0.001).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the high serum RBP4 level was independently correlated with the milder stroke severity (odds ratio 0.917,95％ confidence interval 0.874-0.962;P ＜0.001) and short-term poor outcome (odds ratio 0.955,95％ confidence interval 0.927-0.983;P =0.002).Conclusion In patients with high serum RBP4 levels,acute ischemic stroke is less severe and better in short-term outcomes.

Objective:To carry out evidence-based nursing for standardized management of stress hyperglycemia in perioperative period of gastrointestinal tumor patients, and to formulate indicators, analyze obstacles and promoting factors, formulate action strategies.Methods:Guided by the Johns Hopkins evidence-based nursing model, evidence were searched, evaluated and summarized. Clinical indicators and review methods were formulated to carry out quality review. From November 2021 to April 2022, the medical staff and patients in the gastrointestinal surgery department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University who met the inclusion criteria were conducted, and the incidence of compliance rate was calculated. Based on the results of the baseline review, the obstacles and contributing factors were analyzed.Results:A total of 26 pieces of best evidence were included and 14 indicators were formulated for 48 medical staff and 45 patients to clinical review, among which the compliance rate of 7 indicators was less than 60%. The main obstacle factors were lack of procedures and instruments for management of perioperative stress hyperglycemia in gastrointestinal tumor patients, lack of knowledge of medical staff, etc. The main promoting factors were organizational support, good atmosphere of medical team cooperation, strong willingness to change, etc.Conclusions:There is a big gap between the clinical practice and the best evidence of perioperative stress hyperglycemia management in patients with gastrointestinal tumor. Action strategies should be put forward for obstacles and promoting factors to promote evidence transformation.
