Objective To compare the difference of the Cif gene expression and the inflammation markers (such as WBC and CRP et al)between mucoid and non-mucoid Pseudonmonasaeruginosa, combining with the clinical data. Methods Real-time RT-PCR was used to determine the expression level of Cif in Pseudonmonas aeruginosa and clinical data were collected to discuss the relationship among the number of WBC,the level of CRP and the Cif gene expression. Results The expression level of Cif gene in mucoid Pseudonmonas aeruginosa had a significantly higher than the non-mucoid Pseudonmonas aerugi-nosa,which was statistically significant (t=2.09,P<0.05).Specimen data collected from patients with the infection of mu-coid or non-mucoid Pseudonmonas aeruginosa showed that the number of WBC and the level of CRP were not significantly different (t=0.65,0.60,P>0.05).The data also showed that the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator in-hibitory factor (Cif)gene expression level had little correlation with the number of WBC (a=0.095,R2=0.029).Conclusion The expression of Cif gene may works for the biofilm formation of mucoid Pseudonmonas aeruginosa, which maybe a new virulence factor to Pseudonmonas aeruginosa.

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
A rare strain of actinomycetes, with broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, was isolated from the soil samples from the farmland in the area of Yaohu lake in Nanchang. The information about the taxonomic identification, such as the morphology, physiological properties, cell components and 16S rRNA gene se-quences, suggested that the rare strain of actinomycetes was identified as Micromonospora carbonacea.

Microbiology 2008;0(09):-
Based on the strain of Micromonospora carbonacea JXNU-1 with board-spectrum antimicrobial activity, the technology for the isolation and purification of antibiotic from the fermentation broth of the Micromonospora carbonacea, and its physical-chemical properties were studied. The results showed that, the antibiotic was stable under the condition of high temperature and alkali, but not in acid solution. After the pretreatment of centrifugation and filtration to remove the cells and lipids, the antibiotic was absorbed to negative exchange resin, and the impurity was excluded when 2 mol/L NaCl was used as primary eluent. The antibiotic could be eluted with 20% alcohol as eluent, and the eluting speed of the antibiotic was greatly accelerated as 2 mol/L NaCl was added into 20% alcohol as final eluent. Aqueous solution of the antibiotic was yielded from the alcohol-salt eluant by decompression concentration to wipe off alcohol and by dialysis to exclude salt. One active component was detected in antibiotic solution by paper chromatography, and theHPLC purity was over 99%. As the antibiotic shows positive color-forming reaction to Molish reagents, Benedict’s reagents and Diohenvlamine reagents, combined with the characteristics of absorption spectra, it is deduced that the antibiotic belongs to nucleoside antibiotics.

Advances in mechanism and application of the heating effect in breeding of microorganism are reviewed in this paper. Heat produces mutagenesis effect and screening effect. Heating mutagenesis effect is occurred through the substitution of G-C base pair induced by heat, and heating screening effect produces higher forward mutation rate induced by other mutagens.

Objective To investigate the real experiences of nurses participating in the treatment of patients with new respiratory infectious diseases. Method The semi-structural interview method was used to carry out in-depth interviews with 8 nurses who were involved in the whole process of treatments and cares of patients with SARS and H1N1 influenza to understand their real experiences. Result The nurses, who participated in the treatment and care to patients with new respiratory infectious diseases, experienced such emotions of nervousness, excitement, anxiety, fear, exhaustion, obtained support from their families, hospitals, society and meanwhile recognized their lack of professional knowledge and clinical skills. Conclusion The nurses participating in the treatment of patients with new respiratory infectious diseases should be given strengthened professional training , psychological and social support.

Interaction teaching model of teaching and studying exchanging, simulation scenes, and clinical scientific research training were developed in medical interns. With the helps of such teaching model, rapid progresses of studying interests,activi- ties, and abilities were found in such pediatric interns.Under grasping basic pediatrics knowledge according to teaching program, they all have multiple abilities of clinical practices, medical teaching, and scientific research to a degree. The interaction teaching model which regards student as principal part plays a very important role in the development of pediatric probation quality.
