4.A Scanning Electron Microscopic Study of the Corneal Rust Ring.

The corneal rust ring is made artificaily by anexperimental method on the rabbit and the fate of the rust ring is observed by SEM for the interval of 1 week to 3 months. Because of the shortness of the observation period, the complete natural process of removal of the corneal rust ring can not be fully explained. But several interesting results can be obtained by this experiment. The implanted iron particles are falled off by the natural healng course without articial removal in three weeks. The rust ring can be detected on the corneal epithelium 21 days after implantation and continued until 3 months and moreover, by the SEM examination. Many PMNs and macrophages are present in the vicinity of the rust ring until 35 days and decrease gradually thereafter. The presence of these inflammatory cells reveals that these inflammatory cells reveals that these cells can take part in the process of the removal of the iron rust rings formed on the superficial eornea.

I experienced a case of a congenital intramural cyst of the uterine fundus. It was composed of a single layer of non-ciliated low cuboidal epithelium without associated with endometrial stroma and was found to be derived from the mesonephric duct. The calyceal diverticulum is a cystic cavity lined by a transitional epithelium, is encased within the renal substance, and is situated peripheral to a minor calyx, to which it is connected by a narrow channel. Both congenital and acquired factors have been suggested to explain the formation of a calyceal diverticulum. We experienced a case of a huge calyceal diverticulum that was newly developed after a renal injury.

Epidermal inclusion cyst is the one of the common benign tumors of vulvar area. It can result from vulvar skin trauma such as vaginal wall sling operation and female mutilation etc. causing an invagination of squamous epithelium, which then desquamates into a closed space to form a cystic mass. We have experienced one case of huge epidermal inclusion cyst at rectovaginal and posterior coccygeal area considered of huge retroperitoneal mass, which is presented with a brief review of the literatures.

Congenital prepubic sinus(CPS) is an extremely rare congenital anomaly of the external genitalia of uncertain etiology. Herein, a case of CPS, where immunohistochemical staining was performed to elucidate the etiology of the sinus, is reported. The results of the immunohistochemical study demonstrated the lining epithelium was transitional proximally and squamous distally. These findings suggest that CPS is a variant form of dorsal urethral duplication.

9.A Case of Pyelo-Caliceal Diverticulum.

Pyelocaliceal diverticula are eventuations of the upper collecting system, lying within the renal parenchyma and communicating with the main collecting system via a narrow channel. They are smooth-walled and are lined by transitional cell epithelium. Their lining is nonsecretory but they contain urine derived by passive filling from the adjacent collecting system. The vast majority of these lesions are small, measuring below 1cm in diameter. A pyelocaliceal diverticulum containing multiple sandy stones is presented with review of literature.

10.Glioependymal Cyst:A Case Report.
