Annals of Dermatology 2007;19(4):170-172
Folliculosebaceous cystic hamartoma is a rare cutaneous hamartoma comprised of follicular, sebaceous, and mesenchymal elements. It usually presents as an exophytic papule or nodule on the central part of the face. The histological findings are intradermal cystic structures lined by infundibular epithelium, numerous sebaceous lobules radiating from cystic structures and a surrounding stroma composed of mesenchymal changes, including variable proportions of fibrous, adipose, vascular and neural tissues. We herein report a case of folliculosebaceous cystic hamartoma in a 73-year-old man who presented with a skin-colored, dome-shaped papule on the right nasal ala.

Sporadic non-ampullary duodenal adenoma is uncommon and found incidentally during endoscopic examinations. Brunner's gland hyperplasia is commonly encountered during endoscopic examinations. Adenomas arising from Brunner's gland hyperplasia originate from the glandular cells, and the surface epithelia are usually intact. Little has been reported on adenomas originating from the surface epithelium that overrides Brunner's gland hyperplasia. Here, we report a case of a sporadic non-ampullary duodenal adenoma overriding the cystic dilatation of Brunner's gland hyperplasia.

Korean Journal of Urology 1979;20(4):406-410
Pyelo-caliceal diverticulum refers to a cystic cavity containing urine the renal parenchyme, which is lined by transitional epithelium and communicates with the renal pelvis or a calyx through a narrow channel. Pyelo-caliceal diverticulum is a relatively uncommon entity and are usually quite small in size, averaging 0.5 cm to 5cm. Huge pyelo-caliceal diverticulum is presented with review of literatures.

I experienced a case of a congenital intramural cyst of the uterine fundus. It was composed of a single layer of non-ciliated low cuboidal epithelium without associated with endometrial stroma and was found to be derived from the mesonephric duct. This case is presented with a brief review of the literature.

Journal of the Korean Ophthalmological Society 1995;36(1):125-129
Cysts of accessory lacrimal gland are rare. They are generally retension cysts that result from obstruction of the excretory duct and are found between the palpebral conjunctiva and the levator aponeurosis. We experienced three cases of subconjunctival cyst in the upper fornix. Histopathological examination showed the cysts lined by two layers and occasionally one layer of epithelium. These cysts seem to be originated from Krause's gland, considering their anatomical location and histopathological findings.

10.A Scanning Electron Microscopic Study of the Corneal Rust Ring.
Kyung Hwan SHYN ; Saburo HAYANO
Journal of the Korean Ophthalmological Society 1978;19(3):255-263
The corneal rust ring is made artificaily by anexperimental method on the rabbit and the fate of the rust ring is observed by SEM for the interval of 1 week to 3 months. Because of the shortness of the observation period, the complete natural process of removal of the corneal rust ring can not be fully explained. But several interesting results can be obtained by this experiment. The implanted iron particles are falled off by the natural healng course without articial removal in three weeks. The rust ring can be detected on the corneal epithelium 21 days after implantation and continued until 3 months and moreover, by the SEM examination. Many PMNs and macrophages are present in the vicinity of the rust ring until 35 days and decrease gradually thereafter. The presence of these inflammatory cells reveals that these inflammatory cells reveals that these cells can take part in the process of the removal of the iron rust rings formed on the superficial eornea.
