1.Preliminary immunopathological study in alopecia areata
Jingzhen ZHANG ; Et Al ;
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1984;0(01):-
Studies of the scalps from 42 patients with alopecia areala are given,using direct immunofluorescence ( DIP).Langerhans cells (LC)and T-lyrn hocytc subsets are observed.There is no significant difference between the number of OKT6 cells and Ia+ cells in the epidermis of all groups and the control.LC is seen in hair-bulb in many patients and most frequently in active stage.The main change of LC in hair follicle is increasing of T6+Ia- cells,not significant of T6+Ia+ cells.Most of the infiltrates around the hair follicles are T( OKT3+) cells.T4+cells number and T4/T8 ratio in active arc larger than in resting and recovering stages.DIF shows 88% of the patients having deposits of C3,IgG,and IgM.This suggests that alopecia areata may be the disorder of immnue associated with cellular and humoral immunity.
2.The experimental studies of cardioplasty and total fundoplication on dogs
Shizhi FAN ; Et Al ;
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1984;0(02):-
The aims of this study are to obtain a suilablc condition for the cardioplasty with the fundoplication and an observation of the effect of the antircflux function following the operations. The results show that a suppcrting dcvicc of a round tube with 1 - 1.2 ctn diamcter is used as a guide to establish a good lovver esophageal sphinctcr(LES). The experimental ani-mais may survive very long. The pressure in the sphimcter is cvenly the same as that after the operation immediately. The gastroesophageal reflux is never occurred except intragastric pres-sure is the same as or higher than LES. The lower csophagcal high pressure zone formed is similar to the smooth muscle in the lower part of csophagus at the sile of opcralions . The new formed cardia plays an excellent role of anturc flux function . This report suggists that the cardioplasty with fundoplication is useful for the treatment of esophageal achalasia and somc other abdpminal disorders.
3.Studies on Chemical Constituents of Galeola Shweliensis W. W. Sm.
Yongfu HONG ; Al ET ;
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1982;0(01):-
Three crystals (Ⅰ, ⅡandⅢ) were isolated from Galeola shweliensis W.W. Sm. and identified by means of physical nd chemical properties, and spectral data. It shows that crystal I was a novel com-pound, named galeolate (CH3-(CH2)12-C-O-CH2 -(CH2)12-C-O-C-CH3). Crystal ⅡandⅢwere confirmed as steanc acid and ?-sitosterol, respectively. These three constituents were found inthis plant for the first time.
4.EVALUATION AND DETERMINATION OF HBV INFECTING MARKERS IN ACUTE AND CHRONIC FULMINANT HBsAg NEGATIVE HEPATITIS
Baogen LIU ; ET AL ;
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1986;0(04):-
Anti-HBs,HBeAg,Anti-HBcIgM weremeasured in 322 cases of HBsAgnegative hepatitis.It was foundthat 120 of which were positive forthose HBV infecting markres,indi-cating that the HBV infecting ratewas very high(37.3%)in HBsAgNegative hepatitis.The authorspointed out that for the diagnosisof HBV infection all the infectingmarkers mentioned above should beroutinely detected,especially forAnti-HBcIgM.
5.COMPARATIVE STUDY ON INFLUENCES OF HUMAN SERUM AND NEW BORN CALF SERUM ON IMMUNE FUNCTION OF CRYOPRESERVED LYMPHOCYTES
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1986;0(04):-
The influences of tbe two kinds ofserum on cryopreservation of lym-phocytes was examined with respectto the functional activities of therecovered cells,and highly reco-vered and viable cells were obtainedafter cryopreservation in the mediacontaining either human AB serumor new-born calf serum,The blastTransformation of the lymphocytesfrozen withAB serum was higherthan that with new-born calf serum,while(the new-born calf serum,wasof benefit to the stability of cellmembrane Secepeors and the forma-tion of rosettes.
6.TRANSFER OF TAEKYPLEUS TRICLENTENTUS HEMOCYANIN(TTH)AND DNP-BSA DERMAL REACTIVITY TO HUMAN WITH GOOSE DERIVED TRANSFER FACTOR
Yuansheng ZHAN ; ET AL ;
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1986;0(04):-
TTH and DNP-BSA delayed hyper-sensitivity(DH)were transfered tononimmune human recipients withGoose derived transfer factor(TF-G)prepared from blood and spleen ofGoose immunized with TTH or DNP-BSA.Only human recipients injec—ted with immune TF-G showed DHskin reactivity by skin test.TTHDH response were only transferedby TTH specific TF-G but not DNPBSA specific TF-G and the DNP-BSAdermal reactivity could only be ob-served when DNP-BSA specific TF-G were employed.The fact that TF-G was able to tranfer donor specificDTH to human recipients suggestedthat there may be no absolute speciesbarriers for DTH transfer with TF.
7.PRELIMINARY STUDY ON NK ACTIVITY INHIBITION BY HUMAN SEMINAL PLASMA AND MICE SPLEEN
Bingfa ZHU ; ET AL ;
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1986;0(04):-
In this paper,immunosuppression ofNK activity induced by(1)Human se-minal Plasma(HSP)and its Fraction-1 on sephadex G-100 in vitro;(2)in-travenous injection of HSP,Fraction-1 or mice sperm and(3)uptake of HSP,Fraction-1 or,mice sperm via rectalroute were studied.It has been pro-ved by our experiment that HSP,Fraction-1 and mice sperm possesspotent immunosuppressive effect interm of NK activity inhibition.Ascompared with intravenous injection,the immunosuppression induced byrectal exposure of HSP,Fraction-1or mice sperm is much stronger
8.LUTEINIZED UNRUPTURED FOLLICLE SYNDROME AND INFERTILITY
Zuansun CAO ; ET AL ;
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1981;0(03):-
Most of the luteinized unruptured follicle syndrome(LUFS)happens to women with menstrual disorders and is one of the important factors in "unexplained infertility". The mechanism of LUFS is still unknown. Using classic criteria, such as basal body temperature, serum progesterone, endomtrium biopsy and crystals of cervical mucous one can not distinguish the LUFS cycles from the ovulatory ones. There were low reports in our country in this aspect. In the reproductive endocrinology and infertility outpatient department we have found 2 cases of LUFS through ultrasound and laboratory findings. In this article, the pathophysiologic mechanism of this sydrome, its diagnostic method and index are discussed, and some problems concerning fertility and sterility are proposed.
9.ACTIVITIES OF SERUM SULFATION FACTOR IN PATIENTS AND MODEL RATS WITH KASHIN-BECK DISEASE
Lizhong HOU ; ET AL ;
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1986;0(03):-
The present study referred to the incorporation of 35S-sulfate into the chicken embryo cartilage stimulated by the serum from rats fed on the grain of the endemic areas of Kashin-Beck disease (KBD) and children with KBD using the cpm /mg cartilage as the indicator of serum sulfation factor (SF) activity. The SF activity in serum from KBD model rats was markedly reduced (161.5+66.8 n= 22), when compared with the controls (212.2+58.9,n = 22). The serum SF activity in KBD children (300.5+90.9,n = 22) was much lower than that in healthy controls (425.0 + 142.5, n = 22). The results suggest that in the endemic grains and/or environment there exists certain factors which interfere with the normal function of serum SF, the change of serum SF activity may be the key-point in the pathogenesis of KBD.
