1.Pathological Changes of the Lungs after High-velocity Steel Bullet-induced-Bone Fracture in Pigs
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1988;0(05):-
The histopathological and ultrastructural changes of the lungs of 11 pigs suffering from comminuted fracture of the femur produced by high-velocity sieel bullet were studied. The steel bullet was 7.62 mm in diameter and 1.03 g in weight. The pulmonary changes were observed 24, 48, and 72 hours after injury. It was found that microvascular congestion, aggregation of RBC and WBC, and degranulation of WBC were prominent features 24 hours after injury. The basement membrane of the endothelium was broken. Type I pneumocytes became swollen and deteriorated. The lamellar bodies of Type II pneumocytes were evacuated rapidly. 48 to 72 hours after injury, these pathological changes gradually ameliorated. The pulmonary pathology occurring after bullet - induced fracture observed in this study is similar to that of adult respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS) in character but much milder in intensity. Its prognosis is always fine. Most of the experimental animals showed no symptoms or signs of ARDS. It is concluded that severe limb trauma can induce subclinical ARDS.
2.Acid-Base Balance Responses of Acute Graded Hemorrhage in Dogs
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1984;0(01):-
On 8 dogs a moderate hypotension is produced by stcpwisc blood loss of 24ml/kg for 60 min At the end of this period the shed blood is rcinfuscd back in the animal. Results of observation after 60 min demonstrate a significant (p
3.Effect of Exercise on the Blood Flow of Maternal Uterine Artery and Fetal Umbilical Artery in Healthy Women
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(04):-
Effect of exercise on placental blood flow and fetal heart rate was studied using Acuson 128 color computer ultrasound equipment The subjects were ten healthy women ranging from 27 to 35 gesta- ' tional weeks (mean 30.7 weeks). After exercise, the matcrnal mean arterial pressure increased significantly, maternal heart rate rose and amounted to 60%-75% of maximal heart rate (both P0.05). The fetal heart rale rose but within normal limit. These showed that the responses of maternal blood vessel and fetal blood vessel of placenta to the exercise were different This intensity and time of exercise could improve uterine blood flow and reduce its vascular resistance. However, they didn't influence the umbilical artery blood flow. Also the change of fetal heart rate was within normal limit. It is concluded that the moderate and non-exhaustive maternal exercise can improve the supply of the placental blood flow and benefit to the 2nd and 3rd trimister healthy pregnant women.
4.Research on the relationship between ALDH2 and CYP2E1 gene polymorphism and alcoholic liver disease in Han people
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2007;0(09):-
Objective:To explore the relationship between genetic polymorphism of ALDH2 and CYP2E1 and alcoholic liver disease(ALD) in Han people. Methods:PCR-RFLP was used to detect the frequencies of gene types and allele of ALDH and CYP2E1 in health control group(45 cases),ALD group(48 cases),alcohol dependent group(38 cases) and non-ALD(NALD) group(42 cases),and the frequencies were compared. Results:The difference of the frequencies of ALDH2*1 and ALDH2*2 had statistic significance between health control group and ALD group, and between in ALD group and NALD group(P
5.PRE—PAIN SENSATION ELECTRIC PULP TESTER
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(01):-
This article presents an advanced dental diagnostic instrument-the pre-pain sensation electric pulp tester with current indication. The tester adopts an alternating current signal generator with a specific frequency as the stim- ulating source which can induce a pre—pain sensation similar to a cool-sour feeling or tingling without causing any pain when the current flows through the patient's dental pulp. The dentist can judge the vitality of the dental pulp by the data displ.ayed on the tester. The tester is superior to other similar instruments both at home and abroad with its better accuracy and repeatability. This instrument adopts the integrated circuit and some other new techniques such as automatic boost, automatic switching on and off of the power and automatic data-holding. Compact, light and easy to operate it has high reliability, safety and low power consumption. At present,it is a more advanced dental electric pulp tester.
6.Establishment of knee arthroplasty infection model in rabbits
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2003;0(06):-
Objective: design knee prostheses infection modal for rabbits. Methods:The knee implants were designed with 3mm To Kirschner wire for the length of 15mm.Implanted the stem to the distal femoral through intercondylar fossa.forty eight rabbits were divided into 4 groups randomly,12 in each group and finished above-mentioned surgery. Immediately after the surgery,0.5 ml 1?107 CFU of Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 was injected into the joints of group A,0.5 ml 1?106 CFU in group B and 0.5 ml 1?105 CFU in group C, group D were not injected.the animals were sacrificed 2 weeks after injections, wounds were observed and X-ray films were and taken. levels of serum CRP and ESR determined, pathological changes were observed and bacteria cultures were performed. Results: After staphylococcus aureus was injected into the joints right after the surgery.100% knee joint infection in group A and 100%in group B, 83.3% in group C,none knee joint infection in group D. A large amount of inflammatory cells were found in the infected samples, theand levels of serum CRP and ESR were elevated in the infected samples. Conclusion:An animal model of TKA infection can be established successfully at 2 weeks by 0.5 ml 1?106 CFU staphylococcus aureus ATCC25923 injecting into the joints immediately after the surgery.

Chinese Journal of Immunology 1986;0(04):-
Anti-HBs,HBeAg,Anti-HBcIgM weremeasured in 322 cases of HBsAgnegative hepatitis. It was foundthat 120 of which were positive forthose HBV infecting markres,indi-cating that the HBV infecting ratewas very high(37.3%)in HBsAgNegative hepatitis. The authorspointed out that for the diagnosisof HBV infection all the infectingmarkers mentioned above should beroutinely detected, especially forAnti-HBcIgM.
8.COMPARATIVE STUDY ON INFLUENCES OF HUMAN SERUM AND NEW BORN CALF SERUM ON IMMUNE FUNCTION OF CRYOPRESERVED LYMPHOCYTES
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1986;0(04):-
The influences of tbe two kinds ofserum on cryopreservation of lym-phocytes was examined with respectto the functional activities of therecovered cells, and highly reco-vered and viable cells were obtainedafter cryopreservation in the mediacontaining either human AB serumor new-born calf serum,The blastTransformation of the lymphocytesfrozen withAB serum was higherthan that with new-born calf serum, while(the new-born calf serum, wasof benefit to the stability of cellmembrane Secepeors and the forma-tion of rosettes.
9.TRANSFER OF TAEKYPLEUS TRICLENTENTUS HEMOCYANIN(TTH)AND DNP-BSA DERMAL REACTIVITY TO HUMAN WITH GOOSE DERIVED TRANSFER FACTOR
Yuansheng ZHAN ; ET AL ;
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1986;0(04):-
TTH and DNP-BSA delayed hyper-sensitivity(DH)were transfered tononimmune human recipients withGoose derived transfer factor(TF-G)prepared from blood and spleen ofGoose immunized with TTH or DNP-BSA.Only human recipients injec—ted with immune TF-G showed DHskin reactivity by skin test.TTHDH response were only transferedby TTH specific TF-G but not DNPBSA specific TF-G and the DNP-BSAdermal reactivity could only be ob-served when DNP-BSA specific TF-G were employed. The fact that TF-G was able to tranfer donor specificDTH to human recipients suggestedthat there may be no absolute speciesbarriers for DTH transfer with TF.
