1.Activities of erythrocyte antioxidant enzymes and plasma total antioxidant status of the patients with the Ib and IIa stage cervical cancer post radiotherapy treated with Belaf
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2005;312(7):37-42
Evaluating activities of erythrocyte antioxidant enzymes and plasma total antioxidant status of 60 patients with the Ib and IIa stage cervical cancer post radiotherapy treated with Belaf and those of 35 healthy controls. The results: Activities of erythrocyte SOD, GPx and GR of the patients significantly decreased compared to those in patients pre radiotherapy. The decrease was likely to recover at the 21st day after radiotherapy. TAS levels of the patients post radiotherapy decreased compared to pre radiotherapy and recovered in 21st day post radiotherapy treated with Belaf

2.The changes of serum SCC concentrations of the patients with cervical cancer in pre - and post radiation therapy
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2003;281(2):46-51
MEIA method was applied to determine the change of serum cancer antigene level of scale cell cancer (SCC) in 32 healthy control subjects, 32 patients with cervical fibrous tumor, 78 patients of cervical cancer prior and post-radiation in Ha Noi K Hospital. Results: resum level of SCC enhanced by > 2-10 mcg/L in 63.8% cervical cancer patients, > 10 mcg/L did not determined in patient of cervical fibrous tumor; in cervical cancer, SCC serum level higher obviously than cervical fibrous tumor patients (10.6523.31 mcg/L versus 0.710.64 mcg/L with p<0.001). After irradiation, serum SCC level decreased obviously (10.6523.31 mcg/L versus 1.742.35 mcg/L with p<0.001). Serum SCC can be used for differenciating cervical cancer and cervical fibrous tumor and monitoring the response to the irradiation on patients with cervix scale cell cancer

Journal of Medical Research 2007;47(1):60-64
Background: Treatment of Hodgkin’s disease with ABVD followed by low-dose involved field of radiotherapy is currently considered the standard of care. Objectives: This study was evaluated the efficacy and some pronogstic factors. Subjects and method: 103 consecutive patients with newly diagnosed HD?disease treated with combination CT and RT at K-hospital between 10/2001 ?3/2005 were eligible. The end points of the study were complete response (CR), relapse-free survival (RFS), overall survival (OS). Tests were used for analysis: chi-square test, Kaplan-Meier method... Results: 103 patients (100%) achieved a CR. The RFS and OS rate at 5 years were 64,6% and 91,7%. Pronogstic factors are sex, anemia, B symtom, liver lesion. Conclusion: Treatment plan has brought the most effective so far. Liver damage is a bad influence markedly the survival time.

Background: Coordinating between soldiers and people bring significant results in protecting healthy for soldiers and people in malaria epidemic area.
', u'Objectives: To evaluate epidemic supervision and propose solutions protecting healthy for soldiers and people in malaria epidemic area.
', u'Subjects and methods: A retrospective cross sectional study was carried out on two provinces Binh Phuoc and Dak Lak
', u'Results: there was 4 main disease types were fever, tuberculosis, diarrhea and malaria. Malaria at investigated times still accounted high rate comparing with general fever rate. Malaria risk contained in people living or working in forest and mountain field; free emigrants; armed forces and border guard. These subjects needed to improve regularly protection from malaria. Communication of health education is one of important method to prevent and control malaria.
', u'Conclusion: It is necessary to implement strong methods (such as providing insecticide treated bed nets, indoor residual spray) to prevent and control malaria.
', u'

Objectives:
The prevalence of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) has increased, particularly among individuals who have recovered from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection. Health literacy is considered a “social vaccine” that helps people respond effectively to the pandemic. We aimed to investigate the association between long COVID-19 and PTSD, and to examine the modifying role of health literacy in this association.
Methods:
A cross-sectional study was conducted at 18 hospitals and health centers in Vietnamfrom December 2021 to October 2022. We recruited 4,463 individuals who had recovered from COVID-19 infection for at least 4 weeks. Participants provided information about their sociodemographics, clinical parameters, health-related behaviors, health literacy (usingthe 12-item short-form health literacy scale), long COVID-19 symptoms and PTSD (Impact Event Scale-Revised score of 33 or higher). Logistic regression models were used to examine associations and interactions.
Results:
Out of the study sample, 55.9% had long COVID-19 symptoms, and 49.6% had PTSD.Individuals with long COVID-19 symptoms had a higher likelihood of PTSD (odds ratio [OR], 1.86; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.63–2.12; p < 0.001). Higher health literacy was associated with a lower likelihood of PTSD (OR, 0.98; 95% CI, 0.97–0.99; p = 0.001). Compared to those without long COVID-19 symptoms and the lowest health literacy score, those with long COVID-19 symptoms and a 1-point health literacy increment had a 3% lower likelihood of PTSD (OR, 0.97; 95% CI, 0.96–0.99; p = 0.001).
Conclusion
Health literacy was found to be a protective factor against PTSD and modified the negative impact of long COVID-19 symptoms on PTSD.

Background: Melaleuca essential oil has many good effects, bringing economic efficiency; however, low extraction efficiency is a problem that needs to be overcome. This study aims to enhance the efficiency of extracting Melaleuca essential oil by employing deep eutectic solvents (DESs). Materials and methods: Branches and leaves of Melaleuca cajuputi Powell were pretreated by DESs. Carry out the distillation of essential oils by steam distillation. Determination of the chemical composition of essential oils by chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Results: The combination of choline chloride and oxalic acid to create DESs solvent system helps the extraction efficiency of Melaleuca essential oil increase by 160%. In addition, the total content of 1,8-cineol and isocineol in the essential oil extracted with DESs solvent was 34.019%, higher than that of the essential oil extracted with distilled water at 30.749%. Conclusions: The positive results show the potential of using DESs solvents to improve the yield and quality of Melaleuca essential oil
