Objective: To observe the effect of needling different points on functional reconstruction of wrist following cerebral apoplexy. Methods: Forty apoplexy cases were randomly allocated into four groups, 10 in each. Cases in group A were treated by needling the extensor muscle motor points. Cases in group B were treated by needling alternating extensor-flexor muscle motor points. Cases in group C were treated by needling Jianyu (LI 15),Binao (LI 14), Shousanli (LI 10) and Waiguan (TE 5). Cases in group D were treated by needling Jianyu (LI 15), Binao (LI 14), Shousanli (LI 10), Waiguan (TE 5), Chize (LU 5) and Neiguan (PC 6). The motor functions of affected upper limbs were evaluated on the surface electromyography (SEMG), Fugl-Meyer function scale and Barthel ADL (Activities of Daily Living) indexes. Results: Needling alternating extensor-flexor muscle motor points can significantly increase the peak value (MAX) of the upper limb SEMG, integrated electromyogram (IEMG), Fugl-Meyer motor function value and Barthel ADL indexes.Conclusion: Needling different points may produce different effects on wrist function following cerebral apoplexy. Needling alternating extensor-flexor muscle motor points can obtain an exact treatment effect.

Objective To explore the expert survey of the weight and the current common weight of the similarities and differences in the quantitative analysis of the symptoms in syndrome evaluation. Methods Through the expert questionnaire survey, the data of the questionnaire were analyzed by SPSS11.5 software. For the question of whether the weight of each symptom was the same, the frequency of the experts who gave yes and no was calculated. For the weight of the specific number of such openness, the weight given by the experts was listed firstly, and then the weight of frequency of each expert was calculated, and the frequency of the largest weight was selected as the weight of the symptoms to determine the weight of the syndrome quantification assignment in the evaluation of the efficacy of the syndrome, and to compare the obtained weight with the current weight. Results The weight of the two methods is very close in the weight of the primary symptom and the weight of secondary symptom. But as for whether the weight of the primary symptom and secondary symptom is the same, the majority of the experts think that it should be different, and the current usual practice is to give the same weight. Conclusion During the weight determination, not every primary symptom or secondary symptom is the same important. Therefore, the practice of giving the same weight to evry primary symptom and secondary symptom is questionable.

Objective To investigate the changes in the expression of mitochondrial transcription factor A (mtTFA) during one-lung ventilation (OLV)-induced lung injury in rabbits.Methods Sixty healthy male New Zealand white rabbits,weighing 2.5-3.0 kg,were randomized into 2 groups (n =8 each):two-lung ventilation (TLV) group and OLV group.The animals were anesthetized with iv 3％ pentobarbital sodium 30 mg/kg and tracheostomized.A self-made double lumen catheter was then intubated.Bilateral lungs were ventilated for 3 h in group TLN.In group OLV the left lung was ventilated for 2 h followed by 1 h TLV.Arterial blood samples were taken for blood gas analysis immediately after the beginning of ventilation,at 1 and 2 h of ventilation,and immediately after the end of ventilation.The oxygenation index was calculated.The animals were sacrificed after the end of ventilation and the apex of the left lung was removed and then cut and stained with HE for microscopic examination.The pathological changes of the lung were scored.The expression of mtTFA in lung tissues was measured by Western blot.Results Oxygenation index was significantly decreased,lung injury score was increased,the expression of mtTFA was down-regulated in group OLV compared with group TLV (P ＜ 0.05).The pathological changes of the lung were aggravated in group OLV.Conclusion OLV induces lung injury by down-regulation of mtTFA expression in rabbit lung tissues.

Objective To investigate the effects of acupuncture rehabilitation techniques combined with Xingnaojing injection on functional recovery and the plasam level of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) in patients with severe traumatic brain injury (STBI).Methods Eighty-four patients with STBI admitted to Department of Neurosurgery in Jiuquan People's Hospital from October 2013 to December 2015 were enrolled,they were divided into observation group (44 cases) and control group (40 cases) by random number table,all patients received the routine basic treatment,such as decreasing intracranial pressure,anti-infection,neural nutrition therapy,etc.In addition,the observation group was treated with acupuncture rehabilitation training (each training 50 minutes,1-2 times a day,10 times as a course of treatment,a total of 5 courses) and Xingnaojing injection (in 0.9％ normal saline or 5％ glucose injection 250 mL intravenous infusion,one time a day,10 days as a course of treatment,a total of 3 courses).The evaluation score of Montreal cognitive assessment (MoCA),Modified Barthel index (MBI),Fugl-Meyer assessment (FMA) of motor function score and the plasma levels of GFAP and myelin basic protein (MBP) were measured before and after treatment in the two groups.Results After treatment,the MoCA,MBI and FMA scores were significantly higher in two groups than those before treatment (all P ＜ 0.05),the contents of MBP and GFAP were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the changes in observation group were more significant than those in control group [visual space and execution capability (score):4.99 ± 0.67 vs.3.42 ± 0.73,denomination capability (score):2.98 ± 0.77 vs.2.84 ± 0.47,delayed memory (score):5.76± 0.33 vs.3.87± 2.08,attention (score):6.17± 0.65 vs.4.75 ± 0.81,speech capability (score):3.51 ± 0.46 vs.2.04 ± 0.13,abstract thinking capability (score):2.94 ± 0.27 vs.1.58 ± 0.96,orientation force (score):6.02±0.65 vs.4.88±0.62,FMA score:68.71 ±34.17 vs.41.13 ± 14.82,MBI score:69.12± 10.45vs.37.63±6.11,MBP (μg/L):1.32±0.23 vs.5.31±0.79,GFAP (μg/L):0.19±0.08 vs.0.39±0.04,all P ＜0.05].Conclusions Acupuncture rehabilitation training combined with Xingnaojing injection may obviously improve the cognitive and motor functions in patients suffered from STBI,and clinically the combined treatment is worthwhile to be used extensively.

Aim To investigate the effects and mechanisms of CCK-8 on IL-1? induced proliferation of RSC-364, a rat fibroblast-like synovial cell line. Methods MTT colorimetric assay and Western blot were used to measure cell proliferation and p38MAPK phosphorylation level to elucidate the mechanism of CCK-8 in IL-1? induced RSC-364 proliferation. Results CCK-8 significantly inhibited IL-1?-induced RSC-364 proliferation at 10 -12 , 10 -10 , 10 -8 , 10 -6 mol ? L -1 , and IL-1?-activated p38MAPK activity at 10 -10 , 10 -8 , 10 -6 mol?L -1 in a dose-dependent manner. The effect of CCK-8 was blocked by CR1409 (a CCKA-receptor antagonist) and CR2945 (a CCKB-receptor antagonist). Conclusion CCK-8 inhibits IL-1?-induced RSC-364 proliferation, probably by reducing p38MAPK activity through CCKA and CCKB receptors.

Aim To investigate the effects of cholecystokinin-octopeptide on IL-12 secreted in murine bone marrow-derived dendritic cells induced by lipopolysaccharide.Methods The CCK receptor subtypes were investigated by immunofluorescence in murine bone marrow-derived dendritic cells.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay and Western blot were used to estimate the contents of IL-12 and p38MAPK activity.Results CCK-1R and CCK-2R were detected in BM-DC;CCK-8(at concentrations of 10-10,10-8,10-6 mol?L-1)could significantly increase the secretion of IL-12 in the LPS-induced DC, and LPS-activated p38MAPK activity in a dose-dependent manner.The effect of CCK-8 was reduced partially by CR1409(a CCK-1R antagonist) and CR2945(a CCK-2R antagonist).Conclusion CCK-8 could dose-dependently increase the expressions of IL-12 in LPS-induced DC,probably by promoting p38MAPK activity and the effect was mediated by CCK1 and CCK2 receptors.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of modulated medium frequency current therapy (MMFCT) combined with infrared therapy on patients of acute facial neuritis. Methods A total of forty-six patients with acute facial neuritis were divided into two groups (observation group and control group) randomly and medially. Every patient received medication. Meanwhile, observation group received MMFCT and infrared therapy. Before the treatment, and after two and four weeks of treatment, Portmann scale were used to evaluate the autonomic movements of the facial expression muscles on both sides. After 4 weeks of treatment, the outcome was evaluated by House-Brackmann facial nerve grading system. Results There were no significant differences in Portmann scales before treatment between two groups. Portmann scales were higher in observation group than those of control group after two and four weeks of treatment (P<0.05). With the duration of treatment, Portmann scales were increased successively in two groups. The significant difference was found in multiple comparisons between groups. After 4 weeks of treatment, the efficacy was significant in the observation group, compared with control group, the difference was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Modulated medium frequency current therapy combined with infrared therapy have a better effect than isolated medication.

Objective To observe the effect of the 8-word bandage on the walking ability of stroke patients with knee hyperextension. Methods Fifty patients with stroke combined with knee hyperextension were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 25 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional methods, including Bobath technology, Brunnstrom therapy and motor relearning primarily rehabilitation training. In addition to the conventional methods, patients in the observation group used 8-word bandage to fix knee joint in walking training. Before and after 8 weeks of treatment, Holden walking function classification, 10-meter maximum walking speed and improved Barthel index were adopted to evaluate the walking ability, maximum walking speed and the life ability of the patients. Results There were no significant differences in the scores before treatment between the two groups. The Holden walking function classification, the 10-meter maximum walking speed and the Barthel index scores were significantly improved after 8-week treatment in both two groups (P<0.05), and patient conditions were more significantly improved in the observation group than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Using 8-word bandage to fix knee joint can significantly improve knee hyperextension in patients with stroke, so as to improve the walking ability and activities of daily living.

Objective To explore the association rules of behavior problems and parenting styles in asthmatic children. Methods The database was established with the data of behavior problems and paren-ting styles of 202 allergic asthma children.Based on the algorithm of Apriori,the relativity between these be-havior problems and parenting styles was mined.314 healthy children of the same age were selected as the control group. Results (1)The differences in behavior problems between asthmatic group and control group were significant,which includes attention(7.63±3.44 vs 4.03±3.01),sociality(4.10±2.14 vs 2.86± 1.67),aggression(11.74±5.10 vs 6.63±4.26)and flinch(3.03±1.58 vs 2.06±1.38)(all P<0.01),while the difference in offence between two groups was not significant(P>0.05).The differences in parenting styles be-tween asthmatic group and control group were significant,including spoiledness(15.26 ± 4.16 vs 10.88 ± 3.29),indulgence(22.47±4.68 vs 16.59±4.12),discrepancy(13.54±3.50 vs 11.92±3.35)and democracy (35.08±5.25 vs 39.76±4.80)(all P<0.01),while the difference in autocracy was not significant between two groups(P>0.05).(2)There were multi-positive associations among these behavior problems of asthmatic children as followed.There were positive associations between the cognitive impairment(such as attention) and social impairment(including flinch,aggression and sociality),(each support>10%,confidence>0.60,lift>1.20,the value of correlation coefficient between(1,+∞)).(3)There were multiple associations between behavior problems and parenting styles of asthmatic children as followed.There were negative associations be-tween democracy and behavior problems(the value of correlation coefficient between[0,1)),and there were positive associations among indulgence、spoiledness,discrepancy and these behavior problems(the value of correlation coefficient between(1,+∞)).Conclusion There are positive associations among these behavior problems of asthmatic children,and there are multi-associations between behavior problems and parenting styles.

Objective To explore the prevalence of subthreshold body dysmorphic disorder in an undergraduates sample and investigate the mediating role of self-esteem on big five personality and body image disturbance.Methods A sample of 1 166 undergraduates coming from four different colleges were recruited to complete questionnaire survey.Results The prevalence of subthreshold body dysmorphic disorder in undergraduates was 6.2％.Body image disturbance(35.2± 18.4) was negatively correlated with self-esteem ((29.0±4.3),r=-0.41,P＜0.01),positively correlated with neuroticism ((32.9±8.1),r=0.52,P＜0.01) while negatively correlated with extraversion (39.6 ± 6.8),openness (39.8 ± 6.4),agreeableness (41.7±4.7) and conscientiousness ((40.1±6.4),r=-0.18,-0.14,-0.14,-0.25;all P＜0.01).The mediating role of self-esteem was 19.7％.Conclusion The prevalence of subthreshold body dysmorphic disorder in undergraduates is rather high.Big five personality can directly predict body image disturbance and indirectly predict body image disturbance through the mediating role of self-esteem.
