Objective To explore the cultivated methods of dendritic cells (DC) and the killing effect of DC stimulated by CpG ODN1826 on gastritic cancer cells MKN45 in vitro. Methods DC was induced from peripheral blood monocytes stimulated by A group ( GM- CSF + IL-4 ), B group ( GM- CSF + IL-4 + TNF- α), C group(nonCpG ODN) and D group( CpG ODN 1826). The surface markers of DC was analyzed via flow cytometry, and the abilities to stimulate proliferation of allogenic lymphocyte by DC and antitumor experiment were detected by MTT assay. Results On day 10, a majority of cells showed typical morphology of DC in D group and B group with visible branching-like and pseudopod-like structures under microscope. The results of flow cytometry showed that there are significantly high expressed co-stimulated molecules such as CD40, CD1a,CD80, CD86 and MHC- Ⅱ in D group compared to other experimental groups ( P < 0.05 ), which dramatically stimulate the proliferation of allogenic lymphocytes and enhance the killing activity of DC on gastric cancer cells. Conclusion This method can acquire relatively high purified DC, and CpG ODN can significantly induce the differentiation and maturation of DC isolated from peripheral blood and enhance the killing activity of DC on MKN45 by stimulating PBMC in vitro.

Objective To summarize the experience on diagnosis and treatment of splenic neoplasm. Methods Clinical data of 40 patients with primary splenic space occupying lesion treated in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Results Thirty four out of the 40 cases were diagnosed as primary splenic neoplasm preoperatively. The detectable rate of B-US was 94%, and that of CT was 96%. The discrimination rate of benignancy and malignancy by CT was 84%. Serum AKP and ?-GT were significanfiy increased in most of the malignancies. Seventeen among 22 cases with benignancy were treated by splenectomy, and the others underwent partial splenectomy or tumor resection. Sixteen of 18 patients with malignancy underwent splenectomy, and two did biopsy. Pathology revealed cysts in 13, angiocavernoma in 4, inflammatory pseudotumor in 3, caverous lymphangioma in 1, and cystic degeneration of liomyoma in 1; malignant lymphoma and lymphsarcoma in 9, hemangiosarcoma in 3, and fibrosarcoma, liomyosarcoma, malignant fibrous histiocytoma in 1 each. Three cases with malignancy have survived more than 5 years. Conclusions Splenic neoplasm is diagnosed mainly according to clinical manifestation and image examination. The discrimination of benignancy and malignancy depends on CT, angiography, and serous AKP and ?-GT level. Radical operation and complex treatment could improve the prognosis of splenic malignant tumor.

BACKGROUND: Silver-matrix composite is usually used as a kind of electrical conductive matedal, which has excellent properties in electrical and heat conducting. MoS2, which used as a common solid lubricating material, has unique anti-frictional and lubricating properties in the process of wearing. Ag-MoS2 composites using in the area of electrical sliding wear were fabricated by adding MoS2 to the silver-matrix. OBJECTIVE: Ag-MoS2 composites with different content of MoS2 were produced to gain the mixture ratio for best properties by the experiments of mechanical and wear test. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: The controlled experiment was performed at the Department of Matedal Science and Engineering, Hefei University of Technology from April to May 2008. MATERIALS: Silver powder (Bengbu Gold and Silver Article Factory, China) and MoS2 powder (Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd., China) were used in this study. METHODS: Ag-MoS2 composites for five different contents were fabricated by powder metallurgy method, which included the processes of powder mixture, drying, initial pressure, sintering, and second pressure. MoS2 contents were the MoS2 composite of 12.0%, 13.5%, 15.0%, 16.5%, 18.0% silver- MoS2. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Flexural strength was measured by versatility mechanical testing machine. The microstructures of the composites after sintering were observed by an optical microscope. The electrical sliding friction and wear properties were tested by the electrical wear test machine. The worn surfaces of the samples were observed by a scanning electron microscope. RESULTS: With the increase in MoS2, the flexural strength decreased, the resistivity increased, and the wear loss decreased first, and then increased, which comes the lowest point when the MoS2 content was 15%. CONCLUSION: When the content of MoS2 is 15%, the average properties was the best.

Objective:To summarize our experience in 13 cases of intestinal autotransplantation (IATx) after resection of lesions involving the roots of mesenteric vessels. Methods:The clinical data of 13 patients undergoing IATx in Xijing hospital were retrospectively analyzed. The etiology, surgical procedure and complications were analyzed. The patients were followed up by telephone and regular evaluations. Results:All 13 cases of IATx were successfully completed. For 12 patients who were diagnosed with tumors involving the mesenteric roots, the tumors were removed for cure intent avoiding massive intestinal resection. Pancreaticoduodenectomy was carried out simultaneously in 11 cases. The postoperative complication rate was 85% (11/13). The autograft was resected in 1 patient on the 1st postoperative day due to necrosis from mesenteric thrombosis, leading to short bowel syndrome. One-year survival was 69% (9/13). Among 4 deaths, 1 patient died of liver metastasis, and another died of liver and lung metastases. Five patients were alive 2 years postoperatively. Conclusion:IATx while-technically challenging, avoiding short small bowel syndrome in properly selected patients after resection of lesions especially benign ones involving the roots of mesenteric vessels that were traditionally considered to be "unresectable".
10.Axonal injury and repair mechanism after ischemic stroke
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2018;26(10):774-779
The process of axonal injury after ischemic stroke can be roughly divided into three stages. Each stage has its different temporal and spatial pattern, as well as unique molecular cascade reactions. The process of axonal injury is also related to ischemic stroke subtype, and the treatment must be adjusted accordingly. Axon-glial intercellular neurotransmitter-energy metabolism coupling disorder and Ca2 + overload-mediated apoptosis-like degeneration are the main mechanisms of early axonal injury after stroke. Axonal regeneration and remyelination of damaged axons after stroke play an important role for the recovery of neurological function. Elucidating the axonal injury and repair mechanism after stroke can provide a new strategy for stroke treatment.
