Objective To investigate the effects of ursolic acid and rhynchophylline in Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis on human hepatoma HepG2 cells; To discuss its antihepatoma mechanism. Methods Culture the human hepatoma HepG2 cells with 50, 25, 12.5, 6.25 μmol/L ursolic acid, rhynchophylline for 24, 48, 72 hours respectively. 1%DMSO was set as negative control group. CCK-8 based cytotoxicity assay was used to detect the growth of HepG2. Acridine orange fluorescent staining was used to observe human hepatoma HepG2 cells cultured with 50 μmol/L ursolic acid, rhynchophylline and 1%DMSO for 48 hours were observed. Results Ursolic acid significantly acted as a disincentive to the growth of HepG2 cells, which was in positive correlation with time and concentration. Inhibited effect by rhynchophylline on HepG2 cell proliferation was weaker than ursolic acid. Pathological observation showed that most of the cells in rhynchophylline group showed cell shrinkage, dense pulp coating and nuclear staining edge set, and most of the cells in the ursolic acid group showed apoptosis late changes, such as nuclear cleavage and apoptotic bodies. Conclusion Ursolic acid and rhynchophyllinein Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis can inhibit the proliferation of HepG2 cells and can induce apoptosis.
2.Clinical and CT features of pulmonary nodular lymphoid hyperplasia and literature review
Journal of Practical Radiology 2024;40(5):717-720
Objective To summarize and analyze the clinical and imaging features of pulmonary nodular lymphoid hyperplasia(PNLH)and its pathological features. Methods The clinical and imaging features of PNLH in 9 patients were analyzed retrospec-tively.Results Of the 9 patients with PNLH,5 were found incidentally while other 4 presented with chest symptoms.Laboratory tests showed no specificity, and the lesions were located under the pleura with adjacent pleural indentation. Most lesions were solid with spiculation sign or spiculate protuberance.Hypodense area and vocule were visible within some lesions.Enhanced scan showed the lesion with marked enhancement, however most did not had lymph node enlargement and pleural effusion. Conclusion The clin-ical manifestations of PNLH are non-specific,and the imaging characteristics overlap with those of malignant lung tumors. Thus the diagnosis of PNLH relies on the pathological examination.

Objective:
To investigate the value of platelet count in predicting the efficacy of rituximab treatment in chronic primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP).
Methods:
A retrospective study was conducted in 103 chronic ITP patients hospitalized in our medical center between January 2011 and December 2014. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV) of platelet count in different time points were analyzed for the predictor of treatment response. Optimal cutoff values were established using ROC analysis.
Results:
A total of 103 patients were included in the study. There were 46 males and 57 females, with a median age of 30 (18-67) years. At day 1, 3 and 7 after the first dose of rituximab, there was no significant difference in platelet counts between the success group (PLT≥50×109/L after treatment) and the failure group (PLT≤50×109/L after treatment) (
