Objective: To discuss the effect of volatile organic compounds to the potential of embryonic development. From the angle of the laminar flow process, we found ways to control VOCs to ensure that the potential of embryonic development. Methods:To collect the air from the outdoor, laboratory hundred and thousand grade level central corridor three VOCs for testing;we used raw, medium effect filter to replace the original filter and got different results. Results:The indoor VOCs were higher than outdoor;Changes in concentrations of VOCs can affect embryonic development potential. The effect of replaced filter is bigger. After a period of time in a laminar flow system, it gradually getting better and finally change more than before. Conclusion:The embryo laboratory has volatile organic compounds VOCs. VOCs have larger influence on embryonic development potential and can be effectively controlled.

OBJECTIVE:To prepare compound fluorouracil gel and to establish a method for its quality control.METHODS:Carbomer-940 was used as base material to prepare the compound fluorouracil gel.The content determination of fluorouracil and hydrocortisone was performed by RP-HPLC,and the stability and irritability of this preparation were investigated as well.RESULTS:The gel prepared was well-distributed,with property, identification and tests all in conformity with the description of China Pharmacopeia(2005 edition). The good linear ranges of fluorouracil and hydrocortisone were 0.06~ 0.14mg? mL-1(r=0.999 8)and 0.006~ 0.014mg? mL-1(r=0.999 9),respectively,and the average recovery rates of whi-ch were 100.70%(RSD=0.51%)and 99.88%(RSD=0.83%),respectively.The gel remained stable after storing for 6mo at room temperature away from light, and there was no significant difference in irritability as compared with blank base material.CONCLUSION:The preparation technique of compound fluorouracil gel is simple and practicable, and its quality is reliable.

Objective To investigate the value of modified loop ileostomy in laparoscopic low and superlow radical resection of the rectal cancer with reservation of anus. Methods The clinical data of 108 patients who received laparoscopic low and super-low radical resection of rectal cancer with preservation of anus at the Subei Hospital of Jiangsu Province from January 2010 to June 2012 were retrospectively analyzed.Fifty-three patients who received preventive ileostomy were in the ileostomy group, and 55 patients who did not receive preventive ileostomy were in the non-ileostomy group. The operation, incidence of complication and follow-up of the 2 groups were analyzed. All data were analyzed using the t test,chi-square text or Fisher exact test. Results The operation time and blood loss were (185 ± 14)minutes and (31 ± 26)ml in the ileostomy group, and (154 ± 12)minutes and (28 ± 19)ml in the non-ileostomy group, with no significant difference between the 2 groups (t =2.34,1.82,P > 0.05).The time to first flatus, time to liquid diet intake, time to pelvic drainage tube removal, duration of hospital stay, hospital costs were (1.1 ± 0.3) days,(1.1 ± 0.2) days,(5.2 ± 1.0) days,(7.2 ± 1.4) days,(3.0 ± 0.2) ×104 yuan in the ileostomy group, and (4.2 ± 0.6) days,(4.3 ± 0.6) days,(8.4 ± 3.9) days,(12.9 ±4.4)days,(3.8 ±0.7) × 104 yuan in the non-ileostomy group, with significant differences between the 2 groups (t =7.25,28.12,15.34,34.01,7.83,P < 0.05).The incidences of postoperative complications and anastomotic fistula were 5.7% (3/53) and 0 in the ileostomy group, and 21.8% (12/55) and 12.7% (7/55) in the non-ileostomy group, with significant differences between the 2 groups (P < 0.05).Conclusion Modified loop ileostomy in laparoscopic low and super-low radical resection of rectal cancer can effectively reduce the incidence of anastomotic fistula, and helps the recovery of patients.

Journal of Southern Medical University 2017;37(9):1206-1210
OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of Sanggenon C in inducing apoptosis of prostate cancer PC3 cell line and explore the underlying mechanism.
METHODSThe proliferation of PC3 cells treated for 24 h with 1, 5, 20, 50, and 100 µmol/L sanggenon C or treated with 20 µmol/L Sanggenon C for 0, 6, 12, 24 and 48 h was evaluated using MTT assay. Flow cytometry was performed for analysis of apoptosis of PC3 cells after exposure to sanggenon C with different treatment protocols, and the activity of caspase 3 was detected using spectrofluorometry. The inhibitory effect of sanggenon C on PC3 cells pretreated with DMSO, z-DEVD-fmk, z-LEHD-fmk or z-IETD-fmk for 1 h was detected by MTT assay.
RESULTSSanggenon C inhibited the proliferation of PC3 cells in a dose- and time-dependent manner (P<0.05 except for 1 µmol/L group) with a 24-h ICof 18.76 µmol/L. Sanggenon C at 20 µmol/L caused inhibition rates of PC3 cells of 10.57%, 27.09%, 51.88%, 80.73% and 87.99% after treatment for 6, 12, 24, 48, and 72 h, respectively (P<0.05), and resulted in apoptosis rates of 7.43%, 20.91% and 37.56% at 12 h, 24 h and 48 h, respectively. Sanggenon C significantly increased caspase-3 activity in the cells, and its effect on PC3 cell proliferation was partially reversed by caspase 3 and caspase 9 inhibitors.
CONCLUSIONSanggenon C can dose-dependently induce growth inhibition and apoptosis of PC3 cells possibly by activating caspase 9 and caspase 3 pathways.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of computed tomography enteroclysis/enterography (CTE),magnetic resorance enteroclysis/enterography (MRE) and ultrasonography (US) in Crohn's disease (CD) by Meta-analysis.Methods Segmental intestinal wall thickening and strengthening was taken as image diagnostic indicators in CD.Endoscopic and histopathologic findings and follow-up results were set as diagnostic standard.Retrieve and literature inclusion criteria were developed. The papers of CD diagnosed by CTE,MRE and US which met the criteria were searched and screened. The quality of the papers was evaluated by quality assessment of diagnostic accuracy studies (QUADAS).The diagnostic efficacy of CTE,MRE and US was compared, which included sensitivity, specificity, positive likelihood ratio and negative likelihood ratio, positive predictive value (PPV) and negative predictive value (NPV).Results Among the 2197 retrieved literature,a total of 12 papers met the criteria and nine of which were blinded study. The papers were grouped by three different imaging techniques and underwent QUADAS scale scoring. One paper was about CTE and MRE comparative study,so there were six papers in CTE group, the scores of all the six papers were over 10 and all of them were blinded study. There were four papers in MRE group, the scores of three papers were over 10 and all of them were blinded study. There were three papers in US group, the score of one paper was over 10 and two of these three papers were blinded study and one with unclear evaluation. The sensitivity of CTE group was the highest (89 %),while the specificity (90 %) was lower than that of US group (95%).The PPV (93%),NPV (95%),positive likelihood ratio (15.16) and negative likelihood ratio (0.17) of US group were the highest, those of CTE were secondary (PPV 91%,NPV 82%,positive likelihood ratio 6.25 and negative likelihood ratio 0.15).The sensitivity (74%),specificity (84%),PPV (80%),NPV (80%),positive likelihood ratio (4.18) and negative likelihood ratio (0.33) of MRE group were lower than both US group and CTE group. Conclusions The sensitivity of CTE in CD diagnosis is better than that of MRE and US,while other diagnostic indicators are poorer than US.Even though US has high diagnostic value in CD,more well designed large sample study were still needed for further evaluation.
