5.An analysis of clinical features and therapies of patients with psychogenic dizziness
Chinese Journal of Internal Medicine 2014;53(10):768-771
Objective To accumulate clinical experience and to directe clinical work. Methods A total of 208 patients with psychogenic dizziness from department of neurology of Navy General Hospital of PLA were included in the study.Self-rating anxiety scale (SAS),self-rating depression scale (SDS) and Bech-Rafaelsen mania rating scale (BRMS) were used for the evaluation. Results Among all the patients aged from 17 to 77 (the average age:52),152 were female and 56 were male. There were 3 types according to different clinical features and therapy prognosis:anxiety and depression type (176 cases,84.6%),hysteria type(18 cases,8.7%) and mania type(14 cases,6.7%).The drugs increasing the concentration of excitatory had a good therapeutic efficacy on anxiety and depression type.Alluding cure had notable effect on hysteria type and mood stabilizer had notable effect on mania type. Conclusions Women tended to have psychogenic dizziness. It can be divided into three types:anxiety and depression type, hysteria type and mania type.Clinical symptoms and laboratory examination of each type have their own characteristics, and treatment strategies are also different.
6.Mechanism of transcription factors KLFs in the occurrence and development of HCC
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2016;43(8):348-351
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most lethal human cancers in China. The specific molecular mechanism of its occurrence and development is unclear. Krüppel-like factor family (KLF), which includes 17 members, is a highly conserved transcrip-tion factor family with zinc finger structure. The mechanism of KLFs and the pathogenesis of HCC have been studied in recent years. Re-search revealed that KLF2, KLF4, KLF5, and other KLF family members could be involved in the progression of proliferation, differentia-tion, invasion, and metastasis of HCC. This review summarizes the function and the mechanism of transcription factors KLF in the oc-currence and development of HCC.
7.Quality standard of Siwei Jianghuangtang Powder
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(03):-
AIM:To establish the quality standard for Siwei Jianghuangtang Powder(Rhizoma Curcumae longae,Cortex Berberidis,Fructus Phyllanthi,Fructus Tribuli). METHODS: Rhizoma Curcumae longae,Cortex Berberidis,Fructus Phyllanthi,Fructus Tribuli were identified by TLC,and the content of curcumin was determined by HPLC. RESULTS: The TLC for the identification of Rhizoma curcumae longae,Cortex Berberidis,Fructus Phyllanthi,Fructus Tribuli in the powder was accurate. While the content of curcumin was determined by HPLC,curcumin showed good linear relationship at a range of 0.022 4-0.179 ?g,r=0.999 7.The average recovery of curcumin was 99.4%(n=9) and RSD was 1.46% by HPLC. CONCLUSION: The method is specific, reliable and accurate. It can be used for the quality control of Siwei Jianghuangtang Powder effectively.

10. In vivo metabolic pathway of liquiritin in rats
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2014;45(17):2499-2505
Objective: To study the in vivo metabolic pathways of liquiritin (LQ) in rats. Methods: An HPLC-QTRAP-MS method was established and applied to identify the metabolites of LQ in bile, urine, feces, and plasma after ig administration of LQ (300 mg/kg) to rats. Results: A total of nine metabolites were found in rats. The major metabolic pathway of LQ was deglucosidation to liquiritigenin (LG) and dehydration, glucuronidation, and sulfation of LG. Conclusion: LQ undergoes extensive phases I and II metabolism in rats. The major metabolites of LQ are LG and its glucuronides and sulfates.
