1.A STUDY ON THE DETECTION OF RED CELL IMMUNE ADHERENCE ACTIVITY WITH ERYTHROCYTES ENZYME-LINKED IMMUNOSORBENT ASSAY
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1987;0(01):-
We established a new method, the E-ELISA, to detect red-cell immune adherence (RCIA) activity and the value of immune complexes on the surface of red cell. This method has a good specificity, reproducibility and easily perform, with a sensitivity of 31.25ng/100ul. Fifty samples from normal human were determined. The RCIA activity was 5445 (3.73 ? 0.22 LgG,ngAHG/10~7RBC and the value of immune complexes on the surface of red cell was 234.7(2.37 + 0.21LgG)ngAHG/10~7RB C. We likely suggest that this method is a good tool for study of immune fanction of erythrocytes
2.Evaluation of cerebrovascular reserve by xenon computed tomography in patients with ischemic stroke
Chinese Journal of Internal Medicine 2011;50(1):32-35
Objective To evaluate the cerebrovascular reserve(CVR) in patients of ischemic stroke with cerebrovascular stenosis by Xenon-enhanced CT. Methods Twenty subjects of ischemic stroke with cerebrovascular stenosis were recruited. All subjects were examined by Xenon-enhanced CT before and after acetazolamide (ACZ) challenge test to quantitatively measure the regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) and CVR. Results We compared the rCBF in the corresponding region supplied with stenosed artery (divided manually) with that in the region of normal side. There was no significant difference in resting rCBF but in CVR [ipsilateral side vs. normal side ( 5.9 ± 24. 3 ) % vs ( 25.9 ± 32. 6 ) % , P < 0. 05]. Conclusion Impaired CVR is an important character of the patients with cerebrovascular stenosis suffered from ischemic stroke.
3.Different effects of clozapine and risperidone on levels of blood glucose in patients with schizophrenia
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2001;5(23):144-145
Objective To investigate the different effects of clozapine and risperidone on levels of blood glucose in patients with schizophrenia. Method 200 qualified cases selected from psychiatric department were divided into two groups randomly, of which 100 cases accepted the treatment with clozapine and the other 100 cases with risperidone. Blood glucose tests were used before treatment ,4 weeks after treatment and 8 weeks after treatment Results There was significantly higher blood glucose level in clozapine- treated group than in risperidone- treated group after 4 or 8 weeks treatment. The number of cases who had elevated blood glucose level (>6.1 mmol/L) in clozapine- treated group was significantly more than in risperidone- treated group. Conclusion The glucoregulatory abnormality which leads to glucose elevation in clozapine- treated patients is greater than in risperidone- treated patients. Additional motivation to clinical monitor for antipsychotic treatment- related hyperglycemia is indicated.

5.Three-dimensional virtual simulation of cervical deep vein puncturation
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(18):2901-2905
BACKGROUND:Three-dimensional visual model of cervical deep vein can be used to virtual simulation of puncture. The studies on elevating deep vein puncture in the clinic are stil in the stage of exploration.
OBJECTIVE:To find the application of three-dimensional virtual puncturation simulation to cervical deep vein puncturation.
METHODS:CT cross-sectional images were obtained from healthy volunteers. Mimics software was used to semi-automatical y cut and reconstruct of various tissue of the neck. Three-dimensional model revealed cervical deep veins and its surrounding anatomic structure. Cervical deep vein puncturation was simulated, including internal jugular vein, supraclavicular vein and subclavian vein.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Three kinds of cervical deep vein puncturation were successful y simulated, showing three-dimensional adjacent relation of the virtual pin with surrounding anatomic structure. Safe angle, depth and optimal path of the pin were measured. A three-dimensional virtual puncturation simulation can provide visualized morphologic data for cervical deep vein puncturation.
6.Proteomics in liver diseases
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(05):-
BACKGROUND:With the rapid development and wide application of proteomics techniques, effective tools are available for exploring specific biomarkers for early detection and diagnosis of liver diseases.Recent years, many novel and promising biomarkers have been discovered and evaluated.OBJECTIVE:To review the advances and applications of proteomics in liver development, regeneration and diseases.RETRIEVAL STRATEGY:A computer-based online search of Medline database was undertaken for the English literatures about liver diseases and proteomics published from January 1995 to July 2007 with the keywords "proteomics, liver".Meanwhile,Chinese articles published from January 1995 to July 2007 were searched in CNKI database, with the same keywords in Chinese. The retrieved articles were screened firstly, and those about proteomics and liver diseases were selected and searched for full texts.Repetitive studies and Meta analysis were excluded.156 articles about the proteomics and liver diseases were collected, and finally 32 articles were included.LITERATURE EVALUATION:Of the 32 articles,3 were about the research background of proteomics,6 about proteomics under healthy status, and 23 about proteomics research in liver diseases.DATA SYNTHESIS:Proteomics is a novel science to study protecome using various techniques. The study of the proteome, called proteomics, now evokes all the proteins coded by gene in any given organism, tissue, cell, and even organelle. The researches of proteomics help us to find and understand the life as a whole.Nowadays, there lacks of effective strategy in diagnosis, stages, and treatment in liver diseases.Proteomics is promising in alertness, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis in liver diseases.CONCLUSION:With the deepened study of proteomics in liver diseases, there will be a revolution in the diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases.
8.Influence of Intralesional Glucocorticoid on the Expression of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor in Heman-gioma Tissues
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(23):-
ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effectiveness of intralesional glucocorticoid therapy on infantile hemangioma in proliferative stage, and variance of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) expression in the hemangioma tissues.MethodsExperimental group:5 cases were injected with triamcinolone acetonide 3 days before operation,5 cases were done 6 days before operation,5 cases were done 9 days before operation and 5 cases were done 2 weeks before operation(the dose of injection was 1 mg/cm2 per time, but not exceeding 2 mg/kg).Control group:5 infantile hemangioma cases in involuting stage and 5 infantile hemangioma cases in proliferative stage did not received any therapy. The specimen of the hemangioma were collected to detect the expression of VEGF by two-step immunohistochemistry.Every optical slice was detected by 5 campus visualis of high power lens.ResultsObserving the specimen dyed by HE in the light microscope, there was no significant difference between injected group and non-injected group. But by means of immunohistochemistry, the expression of VEGF could been down regulation by the glucocorticoid(F=17.919 1P

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2001;17(2):90-92
Objective To develop the newborn screening and treatment for congenital hypothyroidism (CH) in order to prevent the children from growth and mental retardation and to improve the population quality in China. Methods TSH value in the dried-blood spot speciments on the filter papter was measured by time-resolved fluorescence immunoassay (Tr-FIA). Clinical analysis for the CH patients was performed. Results Among 315 472 neonates screened for CH, 66 (47 overt and 19 subclinical) cases of CH were confirmed and the incidence of CH was 1/4 780. Among the 47 typical cases, 2 infants were recognized with transient hypothyroidism, 2 infants were not reevaluated because of below 2 year old, 1 infant died, 1 case gave up treatment, the rest 41 infants were permanent CH. Among the 19 atypical cases, 7 cases were recognized with permanent CH, 4 cases with transient disease, 5 cases with hyperthyrotropinemia, 3 cases were not evaluated because of below 2 years old at that time. The patients followed in the clinic are all currently with normal growth and intellectual development. Conclusion Our center is the first labolatory to screen CH with Tr-FIA in China. Tr-FIA is an ideal non-radioactive technology. The typical patients as well as atypical cases should be all treated using L-thyroxine. It is essential to arrange a trial treatment for confirming the diagnostic results from screening and to decide whether they need a lifetime treatment.
