Objective Taking into account of the actual scientific research conducted at medical universities in Yunnan Province,Southwest China,to develop an appropriate evaluation index system of scientific research performance. Methods main methodologies and procedures adopted to develop the evaluation index system include literature analysis,Delphi method,Group Analytic Hierarchy Process and Expert authority calculation. Results The evaluation index system of scientific research performance consists of scientific research input index system and output index system. The scientific research input index system includes financial input and human resources input as two primary indicators. While the scientific research output index system is made up of two primary indicators, named quantitative output and qualitative output. There are another six second-level indicators, six third-level indicators and 37 fourth-level indicators to make up of the quantitative output index system.Calculation of the indicator weight will consider the natures of different units or departments, the mixed analysis of quantitative and qualitative methods,as well as one-vote veto decision were adopted to make sure classified assessment were actually implemented during the evaluation process. Conclusions The index system is suggested to be used for evaluating scientific research performance in different colleges or departments.Adopting such system can help the management of scientific research performances at both micro-and meso-levels.It may also inspire more researchers and research management personnel in a broader sense.

The National Natural Science Foundation-supported papers in the field of epidemiological methods and health statistics since 1987 were analyzed by trend analysis in order to have a better understanding of the development, current situation and history in the field of epidemiological methods and health statistics, and provide reference for the selection of topics, approval of projects and optimization of supporting structure in the field of epidemiological methods and health statistics.

Objective The evaluation management of scientific research projects is the core work content of scientific research management institutions at all levels. The primary causes of bias in project evaluation are the acquaintance social network relationship and the unit-based unitism, especially in the case of small academic circles. The purpose of this essay is to study how to circumvent this problem,to select projects objectively and fairly, and to benefit the evaluation and management of scientific research projects at all levels. Methods Including information construction, expert database construction, expert rotation system, expert avoidance system, supervision and examination system,peer-expert review and strengthen the expert project evaluation. For the first time,we proposed a double-blind,random,centralized,and group-based independent evaluation system. Results This method has a positiveeffect on view. Conclusions In the case where the relative or absolute numberof experts in a single field is small, implementing a series of normative systems and measures through organizational management can avoid interference factors that affect the project evaluation effectively and achieve more scientific and fair results.

Dissipative structure refers to a self-organized and orderly structure that exists far from equilibrium. The human body, considered a classical example, generates negative entropy through the exchange of matter, energy, and information with the environment to counteract the increase in entropy. In this paper,we organized theories and related research on dissipative structure and entropy, discussing their significance in regulating various aspects such as the human body, cancer, aging, and more.By selecting the special population of pregnant women, focusing on the information dimension, developing the corresponding information exchange scale(Cronbach's α>0.9),and proposing the information exchange index,we preliminarily explored the influence of the dissipative structure's information dimension on pregnancy health. The results showed a negative correlation between the information exchange index and anxiety scores during pregnancy(r =-0.35,P<0.001),with an OR value of 0.26(95%CI:0.08~0.80),preliminarily confirming the feasibility of conducting empirical research based on dissipative structure theory. If further relevant empirical studies are conducted,it is expected that new disease prevention strategies will be developed and new theories and methods will be provided for the field of public health.

Objective:
In order to understand the current situation and influencing factors of teaching quality in a Medical University in Yunnan, thus improving the teaching quality of the teachers.
Methods:
The self-made evaluation forms for teachers' teaching quality which include 9 first-level indicators were adopted. In December 2016, a survey was conducted on some students from grade 2013 to 2016 about the teachers who gave them lectures from September to December 2016, involving 7 different majors, 23 teachers and 18 courses. SPSS 21.0 was used for data analysis. Enumeration data were described by frequencies and percentages. Univariate and multivariate
