OBJECTIVE:To gain clear idea of influence of multiorigins of Cordyc ep s on quality and nature of this drug.METHODS:The mannitol contents in the Cordy ceps samples collected from different growing areas were determined and compared ,and their MDR(Mutual Different Rate)was analyzed.RESULTS:The MDRs among specim ens from Sichuan,Tibet and Yunnan were 0.012~0.32 and the MDRs among the Cordyc eps samples from different micro-ecological environment were 0.037~1.36.CONCLU SION:On the mannitol content in Cordyceps, the effect of the species diversity a nd the micro-ecological environment might exceed that of district and climate d ifference.

Object To investigate and compare the scavenging effect of Cordyceps growing in different environment on hydroxyl radical. Methods 10-Phennanthroline-Fe 2+ oxidative assay was used to observe the effect of scavenging hydroxyl radical from H_2O_2/Fe 2+ system by the aquenous extracts of Cordyceps. Results Cordyceps from Naqu of Xizang, northwest Yunnan, and northwest Sichuan all showed us the significant effect on scavenging of hydroxyl radical produced from Fenton Reaction. The biggest values of MDR among Cordyceps specimens from various microecological environment surpassed that among specimens of Naqu of Xizang, northwest Yunnan, and northwest of Sichuan. Conclusion The aquenous extracts of Cordyceps could scavenge the hydroxyl radical from Fenton Reaction. The microecological environment for Cordyceps growing has an significant effect on its scavenging action.

Objective:To investigate the correlation of serum hs-CRP,D-dimmer and Lp-PLA2 with vulnerable plaque of coronary artery atherosclerosis in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods:Selected 106 cases of patients in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2015,all taken coronary angiography and intravascular ultrasound.Divided into three groups according to the results of the examination, the levels of serum hs-CRP,D-dimmer and Lp-PLA2 were examined and compared, and the correlation with fiber cap thickness, plaque eccentricity index, and vascular remodeling index were tested by Pearson correlation analysis. Results:Serum levels of hs-CRP,D-dimmer and Lp-PLA2 of vulnerable plaque group and stable plaque group were significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05),and the serum levels of hs-CRP,D-dimmer and Lp-PLA2 of vulnerable plaque group were significantly higher than that of stable plaque group (P<0.05);hs-CRP was negative correlated with the thickness of fibrous cap (r=-0.712,P<0.05),and positive correlated with eccentric plaque index and vascular remodeling index (r=0.813,0.756;D-,P<0.05),D-dimmer was negative correlated with the thickness of fibrous cap (r=-0.654,P<0.05),and positive correlated with eccentric plaque index and vascular remodeling index (r=0.912,0.853,P<0.05);Lp-PLA2 was negative correlated with the thickness of fibrous cap (r=-0.796,P<0.05),and positive correlated with eccentric plaque index and vascular remodeling index (r=0.836,0.729,P<0.05).Conclusion:Hs-CRP,D-dimmer and Lp-PLA2 have high correlation with vulnerable plaque in coronary artery disease, can be used as reference indexes for assessing the instability of coronary atherosclerotic plaque.

ObjectiveTo investigate the brain function in the patients with transient ischemic attack (TIA) using index of regional homogeneity ( ReHo ).MethodsSixteen TIA patients ( TIA group ) and 16 age-matched normal controls(control group) underwent standard resting state functional MRI (fMRI)scan. The changes of the brain ReHo were studied by DPARSF analysis.ResultsCompared with that of control group,TIA group showed significantly decreased ReHo in the left cingulate gyrus (z =-3.72),left frontal gyrus (z =-3.02),right frontal gyrus (z =-3.23),right superior frontal gyrus (z =-3.75),right precuneus (z =-3.80),right inferior parietal lobule (z =-3.98 ),left inferior parietal lobule (z =-3.82),precentral gyrus ( z =- 3.85 ),right midfrontal gyrus ( z =-4.15 ),right midtemporal gyrus (z =- 3.43 ),and increased ReHo in the right hippocampus (z =3.37) and right cerebellum (z =3.55).Conclusion The rest-state brain function is abnormal in TIA interictal phase, and the increased ReHo in the hippocampus and cerebellum may reflect stress-induced brain protection of TIA and partial comoensatory response.

Objective To investigate the characteristics of resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI)in patients post-stroke depression (PSD).Methods Resting-state fMRI scans were performed in 13 patients with and without post-stroke depression.A regional homogeneity (ReHo) approach was used as an indicator. The brain function was analyzed in patients with post-stroke depression. Results Compared to a control group, the ReHo values decreased significantly in a PSD group in the left middle frontal gyrus, right superior frontal gyrus, right middle frontal gyrus, right anterior cingulate gyrus, right posterior cingutate gyrus, left insular lobe, left caudate nucleus, and left hippocampus. Conclusions The patients with PSD had restingstate neural circuit dysfunction, suggesting that the need to focus on the emotional state of stroke patients in the clinical treatment process.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the mechanism of severe myocardial contusion in rabbits. METHODS: A total of 32 New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into 2 groups, the severe myocardial contusion group (the experimental group, n=16) and the sham-impact control group (the control group, n=16). Hemorheological parameters, interleukin-8 (IL-8) in serum, the water contents of myocardium and polymorphonuclear neutrophil (PMN) infiltration in contused myocardium were observed at 24 hours after the experiment. RESULTS: As compared with the control group, the hemorheological parameters in the experimental group including the whole blood viscosity (etab), erythrocyte aggregation index (EAI), hematocrit (HCT), serum fibrinogen (Fib), Casson viscosity (Gammay) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), significantly increased. The IL-8, PMN infiltration and the water contents of the contused myocardium also significantly increased. CONCLUSIONS: It suggests that the hemorheological disorder, increase of IL-8 in serum, and PMN infiltration in contused myocardium may contribute to the development of cardiac edema and secondary myocardial damage following severe myocardial contusion in rabbits.
