Journal of Practical Medicine 2000;383(6):25-27
This study introduced the diagnosis, prognosis and the treatment of lesion that causes the digestive hemorrhage and peutzjeghers syndrome. The Diculafoy lesion commonly found in the stomach, esophagus, duodenum, intestine, large intestine and rectum with congenital cause. The treatment involved the surgery and endoscopic intervention. The peutz- jeghers syndrome manifested by polypolype in the digestive tract, skin pigment surround the mouth, lip, oral mucosa; treatment was mainly symptomatic management.

5.Intestinal transplantation: history and technique
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):15-19
Because of fail of the first 7 cases of the intestinal transplantation in 1964, the intestinal transplantation was not regarded. Until 1985, the intestinal transplantation has been returned applied. The technique includes 2 phases: the collection and preservation of the intestine from donor and transplantation of this intestine. The resource of the intestine can be the intestine of someone that his (her) brain was dead or of the healthy people. The technique comprises the vascular transplantation and the establishment of the digestive system.

7.Ultrasonic diagnosis of digestive tumor
Journal of Practical Medicine 2000;383(6):46-48
A retrospective study on 40 cases of digestive tumor diagnosed by combination of ultrasound, X-ray and laparoscopy in which the ultrasound and anapathology play a role as screen has shown that the sensitivity and accuracy of ultrasound in the detection of digestive tumors was 97.05% and 87.50%, respectively. However, it should combine the ultrasound with other imaging diagnosis to obtain the higher accuracy

8.Detection of H.pylory in the digestive endoscopy
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):54-55
1668 patients (male: 1,099, female: 569) experienced the epigastric pain, dyspepsia, nausea, weight loss, digestive bleeding received the endoscopic diagnosis for inflamatory and ulceration, histological diagnosis and detection of H.pylori. The results have shown that the rate of possitive H.pylory infection in men was higher than this in women (60.28% compared with 51.80%). The test’s sensitivity and specificity were 93-98% and 98%, respectively.

9.The esophageal mucosal lesion after total gastrectomy, recovering the digestive function as type omega and corrective lygidakis.
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):48-52
119 patient with the peptic cancer received the total gastrectomy, participated to a study after 6-12 months of operation, were recovered the digestive functions as 2 different methods. The results of esophageal endoscopy and biosy only allowed to determine the levels of lesion but not allow affirm that these lesions due to reflu. However, there were the close relation between the general picture according to the description of boyce and microscopic picture according to the description of Beigi I with the clinical symptoms of the reflux esophagitis. Therefore, they also can be used as a standard of diagnosis. The method of the digestive functional recovering by making the distribution bag DD type Lygidakis showed the obvious efficacy in the limitation of the esophageal mucosal lesion due to the postoperative reflux

BACKGROUND/AIMS: Small-caliber esophagogastroduodenoscopy (scEGD) was developed to facilitate unsedated EGD, and has many advantages over sedated EGD in terms of costs and complications. This study compared the feasibility and tolerance of scEGD with unsedated conventional EGD (cEGD), and examined the effect of the endoscopic diameter on the patients' tolerance. METHODS: A total of 114 patients who were referred for a diagnostic EGD was randomly allocated to undergo either scEGD (GIF XP260, Olympus, diameter 6.5 mm; n=57) or cEGD (GIF XQ240, Olympus, diameter 9.0 mm; n=57). After EGD, the patients and endoscopists completed questionnaires on the level of discomfort, satisfaction and acceptance of the examination. RESULTS: Patients in the scEGD group reported significantly less discomfort (choking, pain and nausea) and more overall satisfaction than those in the cEGD group. Patients in the scEGD group were more willing to choose the same procedure again if medically indicated. According to multivariate analysis, the ultrathin endoscopic diameter itself was positively associated with the increased patients' satisfaction (odds ratio 3.07, p=0.003). CONCLUSIONS: scEGD has comparable feasibility and accuracy but is more tolerable than cEGD. scEGD may have a role in clinical practice by minimizing the level of discomfort during unsedated EGD.
