OBJECTIVE:To study pharmacokinetics and bioequivalence of Simvastatin sustained release tablets in healthy beagle dogs.METHODS:6 beagle dogs were randomized into two groups.They received oral single dose of Simvastatin sustained release tablets 20 mg(test tablet) or Simvastatin tablets for sale(reference tablet).Plasma samples were collected at different time points.Plasma concentration of simvastatin acid was determined by LC-MS/MS and pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated.RESULTS:The pharmacokinetic parameters of reference tablet vs.test tablet were as follows:Cmax:(23.461?6.043) ng?mL-1 vs.(13.942?3.236) ng?mL-1;tmax:(2.158?0.396) h vs.(4.116?1.145 3) h;t1/2:(4.564?0.645) h vs.(8.143?0.679) h;AUC0～24 h:(118.647?31.989) ng?h?mL-1 vs.(129.977?29.853) ng?h?mL-1.CONCLUSIONS:The absorption rate of test tablet is different from that of reference tablet.The two kinds of tablets are not bioequivalent.

AIM To establish an RP-HPLC method for the simultaneous content determination of five nucleosides in Houtoujun Tablets (mycelia of Hericium erinaceum).METHODS The analysis of aqueous extract of this drug was performed on a 26 ℃ thermostatic Zorbax SB-Aq C18 column (250 mm ×4.6 mm,5 μm),with the mobile phase comprising of methanol-0.1％ phosphoric acid flowing at 0.5 mL/min in a gradient elution manner,and the detection wavelength was set at 260 nm.RESULTS Cytidine,adenine,uridine,adenosine and guanosine showed good linear relationships within the ranges of 0.007-0.169,0.005-0.115,0.032-0.797,0.032-0.792 and 0.004-0.103 μg,whose average recoveries (n =6) were 99.4％ (RSD =2.0％),98.3％ (RSD =1.8％),98.0％ (RSD =2.8％),101.4％ (RSD =1.9％) and 101.7％ (RSD =1.2％),respectively.CONCLUSION The contents of five nucleosides in Houtoujun Tablets from different manufacturers exhibit obvious differences,to which we should pay attention.

To explore the clinical advantages of interventional radiologyin saving the patients with fatal hemorrhage. Simple embolization had been used in 19 patients. 8 patients were treated with temporary blockage of blood flow plus surgical procedures. Long term follow up in 26 cases showed good clinical effect. Interventional radiology, with its special technique and advantage,may be the most effective method for saving the patient with various fatal hemorrhage and in the development of traumatic surgery. It is not only a life saving proceduce,but also an important treatment in decreasing the rates of amputation and disability when it is closely coordinated with medical and surgical treatments.

Objective To explore the effect of L-dopa on plasma homocysteine and folic acid in patients with parkinsons' s disease(PD).Methods Twenty eight elderly PD patients and thirty normal subjects were enrolled in this group.The homocysteine,cobalamin and folate were examined in normal group and in PD group before treatment and after being treated with L-dopa for six moths respectively.Then the homocysteine,cobalamin and folate were compared between the two groups.Results The plasma homocysteine levels increased in PD patient group after being treated with L-dopa for six months(19.19? 8.01)?mol/L as compared with those of the PD group before treatment(12.50?3.78)?mol/L and those of control group(12.60?3.94)?mol/L(P

The development of the cochlear aqueduct and its aging change were investiga-ted in 234 temporal bones,ranging from 12-week-old embryo to adult by the lightmicroscope.The width of inner and outer opening,width and length of thecochlear aqueduct were parallel with the advance of fetal age.The length of thecochlear aqueduct at one year old was about the length of adult cochlear aqueduct.The diameter of the cochlear aqueduct at the child was wider than that of theadult.On the basis of morphology of the cochlear aqueduct and its characteristicof age,the developmental rule of the cochlear aqueduct,its function and clinicalsignificance were discussed.

Serum glycosyl protein and glucose levels were concomitantly measured in 35 DACVD patients, 59 ACVD patients and in a control group of 65 healthy subjects. Our data revealed statistically significant differences in serum glucose between the ACVD group and control group (P0.05).Hyperglycosemia occurring in ACVD may be a response, or really means diabetes mellitus. Our data indicated that determination of serum glycosyl protein may be useful for the differential diagnosis of diabetic neuropathy from the reactive hyperglycosemia in ACVD.

Translational medicine emerging as a new concept in medical field, concentrates on the integration of theory and practice , and the conjunction of basic medical science and clinical medicine. Barriers between the basic medicine and clinical medicine existing in medical education in China make students possess limited intelligence, narrow perspectives and low creativity etc., causing the medical teaching unable to conform to the demand of translational medicine. The article introduces the basic conception of translational medicine and the necessity of medical teaching reform, the meth-ods of promoting teaching reform by integrating the curriculum systems, bettering experimental teach-ing systems, strengthening humanities education, improving faculty construction and optimizing eval-uation system for students.

Objective To investigate MRI appearances of aquaporin(AQP) and its effect in different brain regions of patients with Parkinson's disease(PD).Methods A prospective study was carried out in 33 PD patients(PD group) and 23 gender-and age-matched healthy controls (control group).Clinical data of PD patients were collected.The aquaporin imaging of diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRDWI) with multiple b-values in different brain regions were performed to detect the apparent diffusion coefficient(AQP-ADC) values of aquaporin.The PD patients were assessed and graded by modified Hoehn-Yahr grading,then the AQP-ADC values of control group,mild PD group,moderate and severe PD group were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance.The correlation analysis was carried out to detect the relationship between AQP-ADC values in different brain regions and Hoehn-Yahr grading of PD patients.Results Compared with control group,mild PD group had significantly higher AQP-ADC values in red nucleus(RN) and globus pallidus(GP) ((0.24±0.04) vs (0.21±0.04),(0.21±0.04) vs (0.16±0.04);both P＜0.05);while the AQP-ADC values in RN and GP of moderate and severe PD group were significantly lower than that of mild PD group((0.21±0.02) vs (0.24±0.04),(0.18±0.03) vs (0.21±0.04);both P＜0.05);but there was no significant difference between moderate and severe PD group and control group(P＞0.05);and there was also no significant difference in substantianigra (SN),putamen (Pu) and thalamus (THA) among control group,mild PD group and moderate and severe PD group(P＞0.05).The correlation analysis showed that there were negative correlations between the AQP-ADC values in RN and GP and Hoehn-Yahr grading(r=-0.479 and-0.395,P＜ 0.05),while there was no correlation in SN,Pu and THA (P＞ 0.05).Conclusion The AQPADC values are increased in RN and GP of mild PD patients,and decreased in moderate and severe PD patients,while there is no significant change in SN,Pu and THA of the two groups,suggesting that the expression of AQP in different brain regions may be related to the severity and pathological stage of PD.

Objective To investigate the effects of olfactory bulb(OB) lesion on neural stem cells proliferation and expression of NMDA receptor subunit 2B in subventricular zone(SVZ) of rats.Methods Sixty adult female SD rats were randomly divided into normal group,saline group and OB lesion group.OB lesion was induced by N-methyl-D-aspartic acid (NMDA) injection.Each group was respectively divided into four time points including 3 d,7 d,14 d and 28 d.Immunohistochemistry staining was used to detect the number of Nestin,Ki67 and NR2B-positive cells in the SVZ.Results (1) Nestin positive cells in the SVZ were shown at the different time of three groups.Seven days after OB lesion,IOD value of nestin-positive cells began to increase((29601± 1788)/0.01 mm2,P＜0.05),reached the maximum at 14 d((49800±3701)/0.01 mm2,P＜0.05) and still sustained a high level at 28 day((27600±3209)/0.01 mm2,P＜0.05).(2)Ki67 positive cells in the SVZ were shown at the different time of three groups.The number of Ki67-positive cells was increased significantly at 7 d,14 d and 28 d after OB lesion compared to normal group and saline group (P＜0.05).(3)NR2B immune expression in the SVZ was shown at the different time of three groups.The NR2B-positive cells increased at 3 d after OB lesion(58.80±2.95,P＜0.05),reached the maximum at 14 d(68.40±4.04,P＜0.05).At 28 d of OB lesion,the number of positive cells was reduced,but still sustained a high level(62.20±3.56,P＜0.05).(4)The positive cells of NR2B and Ki67 were highly positive correlation at different time after OB lesion(r=0.968,P＜0.05).Conclusions OB lesion can stimulate neural stem cell proliferation and increases the expression of NR2B.The increased mode of NR2B is in accordance with the schedule of the neural stem cells increase induced by OB lesion.Therefore,it indicates that the NMDA receptor subunit 2B may be involved in neural stem cell proliferation.

Objective To study the mediating effect of big five personality between childhood abuse and anxiety of college students, and to provide basis to intervene their mental disorder.Methods Through stratified sampling,2374 college students in Jiangsu were investigated by the personal report of childhood abuse( PRCA),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) and the revised NEO five-factor Inventory(NEO-FFI-R).A path analysis was applied by analysis of moment structures(AMOS) version 7.0.Results The path analysis showed that childhood abuse was directly related to anxiety of college students(Sβ=0.123, P＜0.01 ＝ ,and was directly related to 4 dimensions of the NEO-FFI-R( exclusion Openness dimension) (Sβ= -0.216 ～ -0.248,0.309; P ＜ 0.01 ＝.3 dimensions of the NEO-FFI-R( exclusion Openness and Extraversion dimensions) were directly related to anxiety of college students ( Sβ = 0.525,-0.045 ～-0.052, P ＜ 0.05 ＝.Agreeableness, conscientiousness and neuroticism of NEO-FFI-R mediate the relationship between childhood abuse and anxiety of college students.The model fit indexes were x2/df = 0.546 ＜ 3.000, P = 0.460 ＞ 0.050, RMSEA = 0.001 ＜ 0.050, GFI = 1.000, AGFI = 0.998, NFI = 1.000, RFI = 0.998, IFI = 1.000,TLI = 1.002, CFI = 1.000.Conclusion Big five personality as mediated variable mediates the relationship between childhood abuse and anxiety of college students.
