1.Depression, Anxiety and Self-concept of Middle School Students
Chinese Mental Health Journal 2002;0(09):-
Objective:to study depression, anxiety and self-concept of middle school students.Method:Self-description Questionnaire, CES-D and Revised Children's Manifest Anxiety Scale were used to assess 500 middle school students of Nanchong, Sichuan province.Result:the total score of self-concept was negatively correlated with anxiety and depression. Factors predicting anxiety and depression included general self-concept, general expressive self-concept, parenthood self-concept and peer relation self-concept.Conclusion:anxiety and depression of middle school students are associated with their self-concept.
2.Relationship between School Factors and Depression in Middle School Students
Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 1993;0(01):-
Objective: To study the role of school factors in depression of middle school students. Methods: CES-D, Teacher-Student Relationship Questionnaire, Scale for Assessing Peer and Study Achievement Questionnaire were administered to 500 students (grade 1 to grade 3) from three middle schools in Nanchong, Sichuan. Results: Depression was significantly correlated with teacher-student relationship and peer relationship. Chinese achievement was significantly correlated with loneliness and helplessness, despair and worthlessness, feeling of ability failing and bad moods, but not with physiological symptoms. Mathematical achievement was significantly related to despair and worthlessness, but not to loneliness and helplessness, feeling of ability failing and bad moods, or physiological symptoms. Regression analysis revealed negative emotion, positive emotion, support-help and Chinese achievement were significant predictors for depression of students. Conclusion: Better teacher-student relationship and peer relationship helped to reduce depression of middle school students.
3.Anxiety of Middle School Students——The Role of Teacher-Student Relationship and Peer Relationship
Chinese Mental Health Journal 2001;15(2):78-80
Objective: To study the role of teacher-student relationship and peer relationship in anxiety of middle school students. Method: Revised Children'sManifest Anxiety Scale, Teacher-Student Relationship Questionnaire and Scale for Assessing Peer were used to investigate anxiety problems in 500 students grade 1 to 3 of three middle schools in Nanchong, Sichuan. Result: Anxiety had close correlation with teacher-student relationship and with peer relationship. Better teacher-student relationship or peer relationship contributed to relax anxiety of students. Further regression analysis revealed anxiety was predictable by positive and negative emotions. Conclusion: This result provides a base for further study on anxiety of middle school students.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 1993;0(01):-
ObjectiveTo investigate the management of myonephropathic-metabolic syndrome (MNMS) after acute arterial occlusion. Methods17 cases of MNMS caused by acute arterial occlusion were restrospectively reviewed. Results5 cases were cured, 6 cases died of sudden cardiac arrest induced by hyperkalemia, and another 6 cases died of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) complicated by acute renal failure. The total mortality rate was 71% and the amputation rate was 41%.ConclusionEarly revascularization should be performed in acute arterial occlusion. In patients with compartment syndrome, fasciotomy should be performed as soon as possible. Early amputation of gangrene limb is very important to prevent MNMS. Early and effective fluid resuscitation and alkalinization is the key point to prevent ARF, early hemodialysis for ARF is very important in treating MNMS.

6.Fibromyalgia syndrome treated with acupuncture at the acupoints of the affected meridians and heavy moxibustion at painful points: a randomized controlled trial.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2016;36(2):147-151
OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical efficacy on fibromyalgia syndrome treated with acupuncture at the acupoints selected from the affected meridians based on the location differentiation and the heavy moxibustion at painful points by the randomized controlled trial with medication.
METHODSThirty-two patients of fibromyalgia were randomized into an acupuncture-moxihustion group and a medication group, 16 cases in each one. In the acupuncture-moxibustion group, acupuncture at the acupoints selected from the affected meridians based on the location differentiation and the heavy moxibustion at painful points were applied, once every two days, three times a week, for 4 weeks totally. In the medication group, tramadol sustained release tablets and amitriptyline were prescribed for oral administration, once a day, for 4 weeks. The follow-up visit was conducted for 4 weeks in the two groups. Before and after treatment and in follow-up visit, the revised version of the fibromyalgia impact questionnaire (FIQR) and visual analogue scale (VAS) were adopted for assessment and comparison of the efficacy between the two groups.
RESULTSAfter treatment and in follow-up visit, FIQR score and VAS score were improved apparently as compared with those before treatment in the two groups (all P<0. 05). At the end of treatment, the differences were not significant statistically between the two groups (all P>0. 05). But the differences were significant in follow-up visit (all P<0. 05). The scores in the acupuncture-moxibustion group were improved persistently, but those in the medication group were rebound.
CONCLUSIONThe acupuncture at the acupoints selected from the affected meridians based on the location differentiation and the heavy moxibustion at painful points are safe and effective in the treatment of fibromyalgia syndrome and present the better persistent effect as compared with the combined medication of tramadol sustained release tablets and amitriptyline.

Objective To probe into the status and development trend of avian influenza,so as to provide reference for further research. Methods The article took the avian influenza literature as the object of study, took Gopubmed as the retrieval and statistical tool, made information analysis of the subjects, time, sources, distribution, authors and literature development trends of avian influenza research. Results The main subjects of avian influenza literature involved influenza in birds and influenza, human. There has been a sharp increase on the literature number of avian influenza in the recent decade with the most in 2006.The United States accounted for the most literature and China ranked the second place. The sources of avian influenza literature were mainly the SCI journals from the United States and European countries. Conclusions Gopubmed can show a vivid picture of the current situation and development trend of avian influenza research.Further improvements are needed both in the quality and quantity of avian influenza research in China

Objective To summarize our experience in treating abdominal aorta saddle embolism(ASE).Methods The clinical data of 21 cases of abdominal ASE were treated with Fogarty catheter and other(methods) during January 2000 to July 2006 were retrospectively assessed. Results After the blood flow was restored by operation,4 died in the postoperative early stage because of sudden cardiac asystole due to(hyperkalemia);in the late stage,6 died of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome socondary from acute renal(failure)(ARF).Eleven patients were cured.Of them, bilateral lower extremites were salvaged in 5 patients;and 6 patients received amputation.Ten patients were followed up,and the blood supply of the salvaged legs was good. Conclusions Early diagnosis and embotism removal are the key points to decrease the mortality and amputation rate of ASE.The intra-operative and post-operative prevention and management of(hyperkalemia) and ARF are important for reduction of mortality.
