3.Roles and Mechanisms of Tumor Suppressor PTEN in Ischemic Brain Injury
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(11):-
Recent studies have revealed that tumor suppressor PTEN does not only closely relate to the development and differentiation of brain but also get extensively involved into the pathophysiological processes of ischemic brain injury.Through research on the mechanisms of molecular regulation mediated by PTEN in ischemic brain injury will provide new perspectives for the treatment of ischemic brain injury.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(22):-
Neonatal brain damage including hypoxia-ischemia encephalopathy(HIE) and intracranial haemorrhage, may cause adverse neurodevelopmental outcome such as cerebral palsy.Earlier diagnosis is very important for the treatment of brain damage. This review is to elucidate the relationship between imaging changes(CT,MRI and ultrasonography) and prognostic assessment, thus provide reference for clinicians, the objective is focus on imaging changes of HIE and intracranial haemorrhages, which are 3 of the most frequently reported cases.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(23):-
Integrin is a kind of crucial adhesive molecule on the membrane, and it exerts its function through activating its intra-cellular effectors. One of the most important effectors is integrin-linked kinase (ILK),which is a serine/threonine protein kinase located in focal adhesions and has a key position in transducing many of the biochemical signals. It plays an important roles in regulating fundamental processes such as cell-matrix interactions, growth, proliferation, survival, differentiation, migration, invasion and angiogenesis under both physilogical and pathological processes.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Angiogenesis is a fundamental physiological and pathological process in human body.Angiogenesis is regulated by integrins,a family of cell surface receptors. After binding with their ligands such as extracellular matrix proteins and immunoglobulin superfamily molecules, integrins can promote the proliferation and migration of endothelial cells during angiogenesis.Several integrin-targeted therapeutic agents are currently used in clinical trials for the therapy of angiogenesis related diseases. Here, there will show the roles of integrins in angiogenesis and clinical application.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(12):-
To understand the present application of gene chip in ischemic brain damage, investigate the application value and the future trends of gene chip technology, the literatures on the application of gene chip in the research of all kinds of ischemic brain damage in the database including MEDLINE,EMBASE,CNKI and VIP were reviewed and comprehensively analyzed.Literatures showed that many differential expressed genes including the significant regulating genes in the pathomechanism and some new neuroprotective genes were found during the application in the research of brain damage including global ischemia, focal cerebral ischemia, and hypoxic ischemic brain damage. Therefore, gene chip has manifested its great application value in the research of ischemic brain damage and deserves a further investigation.
