Agricultural Microbiology is a professional foundation curriculum for biology, botany and envi-ronmental majors in agricultural universities. After 1999,with the increase enrollment of the national under-graduate education and rapid construction of the university, the number of majors and students increased rapidly and quality of students and talent demand of society changed dramatically.Under such condition,in order to meet the society demand of microbiology, according to the distinguishing feature of different major groups, based on strengthening the basis teaching and stretching application teaching, new curriculum teaching model and method were explored positively, and then new curriculum system was constructed.Be-ing aroused sufficiently of the students’ subjective initiative, both the teaching quality and comprehensive quality were improved.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the virological response of managing chronic hepatitis C (CHC) with peg-interferon alpha-2b (PEG-IFN alpha-2b) and ribavirin.
METHODSWe retrospectively analyzed the virological response of 40 patients with different genotypes of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection after anti-HCV management. Patients were given different dosages of PEG-IFN alpha-2b and ribavirin based on their weights. The duration of treatment was 48 weeks for patients infected by HCV genotype 1, and was 24 weeks for the others. HCV RNA was tested before treatment, 12 weeks post management, end of treatment, and 24 weeks after treatment stopped.
RESULTSData from 40 patients were collected. Among them, 24 cases experienced HCV genotype 1 infection, and 16 cases were infected with other genotypes. Between these two groups, the early virological responses were 75.0% (18/24) and 87.5% (14/16), the end-of-treatment virological responses were 80.0% (16/20) and 85.7% (12/14), and the sustained virological responses were 56.2% (9/16) and 78.5% (11/14), respectively.
CONCLUSIONBody weight-based customized PEG-IFN alpha-2b in combination with ribavirin can effectively treat patients with different genotypes of CHC.

A 16-year-old female patient with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) presented with abdominal pain and oliguria, after one month of hospital treatment with methylprednisolone and cyclophosphamide. Computed tomography of the abdomen revealed the calcification of bilateral superior segmental ureteral wall. Computed tomography urography revealed stenosis of bilateral ureters. This calcification may be associated with lupus-induced inflammatory reaction of ureteral endomembrane. By receiving the ureteral catheters, her abdominal pain and oliguria had been completely resolved. After discharge, she underwent the surgery of cutaneous ureterostomy in the local hospital. During two years follow-up, her condition is stable without any symptom of the urinary system.

Chinese Journal of Experimental and Clinical Virology 2010;24(6):418-420
OBJECTIVETo study the association between HLA-DRB1 alleles and familial hepatitis B.
METHODSHLA-DRB1 alleles of 151 people in the familial hepatitis B families were detected,by using the the polymerase chain reaction-sequence specific oligonucleotide probing (PCR-SSOP) technique.
RESULTSThe allele frequency of HLA-DRB1 * 0701 in the chronic hepatitis B (CHB) group was markedly higher than that in the normal control group (17.8% vs 7.4%), with significant correlation between them (P < 0.05, A = 1/0.367 approximately 2.725). The allele frequencies of HLA-DRB1 * 0401/0403/0405 and HLA-DRB1 * 1301/1302 in the normal control group (16.2%, 4.4% ) were markedly higher than that in the CHB group (5.1%, 0), with statistical significance (P < 0.05, A = 3.602; P < 0.05). The other alleles between the CHB group and the normal control group are no significant differences.
CONCLUSIONHLA-DRB1 * 0701 is closely associated with the susceptibility to familial hepatitis B,and may be the susceptible or linkage gene. HLA-DRB1* 0401/0403/0405 and HLA-DRB1 * 1301/1302,in inverse proportion to the susceptibility to familial hepatitis B, may be the resistant gene. They may regulate the outcome of familial HBV infection in a patient.

Objective To evaluate the clinical application and significance of lengthen-stem bipolar-femur prosthetic replacement for the treatment of old-age patients with intertrochanteric fracture osteoporosis. Methods 28 cases of patients aging from 75 to 99 years old of intertrochanteric fracture osteoporosis treated with lengthen- stem cemented bipolar prosthesis were studicd from March 2000 to December 2006.After taking the blank margin, the bones of different sizes were replaced and the steel wire was fixed. After determining the depth of the front an- gle,the artificial bone was placed. Results After 28 examples attaining the following-up examination for 7 months to 3 years, with an average of 1.5 years, its function according to Harris standard was evaluated 3 months after the operation,8 examples were excellent,13 examples good,5 examples pass,2 examples inferior. The excellent or good rate reached 75% ,with no abnormal cases,no joint dislocation during the followed-up period.1 example had the phantom phenomenon 1 year after the operation.2 examples among the inferior had got more serious internal medicine disease which affected the restoring function.1 example died of the internal medicine disease 1 year after the operation. Conclusion By using the lengthen-stem bipolar-femur prosthetic replacement for the treatment of old patients with inrertrochanteric fracture osteoporosis, the patients will restore quickly after the operation and can carry a heavy load at an early time. The illness complication and the mortality rate will be redaced. But its related disease must be strictly dealt with and the surgery operating skill must be grasped.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the pharmacological function of Sanshengwan decoction with modern medical and rheological techniques, and also to discuss the differences between injury blood stasis syndrome and yang deficiency blood stasis syndrome.
METHODAnimal model for injury blood stasis syndrome was found by bruise; Animal model for yang deficiency blood stasis syndrome was done by exhausting the animals in a - 15 degrees C freezer for 4 hours.
RESULTBlood fibrinogen content, platelet aggregation and blood coagulation time were significantly increased, plasma viscosity and blood coagulation slope was significantly decreased in injury blood stasis syndrome group. Blood fibrinogen content, platelet aggregation and blood coagulation time were dropped markedly. Blood coagulation slope was raised noticeably in yang deficiency blood stasis syndrome group. Sanshengwan decoction behaved very good effects on removing blood stasis on both of the two kinds of animal models.
CONCLUSIONThough hemorheological index and experimental data in the two kinds of animal models were behaved statistically significance, but the experimental representative indexes were obviously difference. Sanshengwan the tipical herbal medicine for eliminating blood stasis syndrome showed significantly effects on both of the two kinds of animal models, but the effects on injury blood stasis syndrome group was better than the other animal model's.
