Microbiology 1992;0(04):-
There are still many problems at liquid state culture especially large-scale culture for Helicobacter pylori at present. Using analytical technique of single factor test statistics, a suitable medium and shaking culture conditions for Helicobacter pylori have been selected. The experimental results showed: under the optimal shaking culture conditions Hp could be growed well enough in Brucella broth with ?-CD. The thalli weight reached 0.6g/100mL.

Objective:To detect the contents of hyaluronic acid(HA),Laminin(LN) and probe their role in the pathologic course of chronic renal failure(CRF).Methods:The serum HA and LN from 37 patients with CRF and 40 healthy adults were measured by RIA.T test was used in data(x?s) analysis. Results:The HA and LN in CRF serum evidently increased than those of normal controls, respectively(P

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(10):-
Objective To investigate the chemopreventive potential of salvianolic acid B against 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene(DMBA)-induced hamster buccal pouch carcinogenesis with respect to angiogenesis. Methods(Sixty) male Syrian golden hamsters were randomly divided into 4 groups(group A and B,n=20;group C and D,(n=10).) DMBA solution(0.5% in acetone) was applied topically to the right cheek pouch of male Syrian golden hamsters in group A and B,while animals in group C were painted with acetone,3 times a week for 6 weeks.Animals in group D received neither DMBA nor acetone in the first 6 weeks. Two days after the last treatment of(DMBA,) animals in group B and D received salvianolic acid B daily(10 mg/kg) by gavage, while animals in group A and C received same volume of saline, for the next 12 weeks. At the end of the experiment, animals were sacrificed and tissue samples were collected for histopathological and immunohistochemical examination. Results Salvianolic acid B significantly decreased the incidence of squamous carcinoma(P

ObjectiveTo recover the effect of rehabilitation therapy on the automatic nervous system(ANS)of patients with stroke. MethodsThe multiple index measurement was applied to measure ANS after stroke in 31 patients. The therapy of the Bobath,Brunnstrom and Rood were used as the basic methods for 3 months.ResultsThe balance index of the automatic nerve after treatment by the rehabilitation therapy was higher markedly than before(P<0.01).There is a correlativity with recovery of the movement function. Conclusions The rehabilitation can improve the function of automatic nerve.

OBJECTIVETo explore clinical effects of internal fixation in treating displaced clavicle fracture combined with coracoid process.
METHODSFrom January 2005 to July 2012, 9 patients with displaced clavicle fracture combined with coracoid process were treated by internal fixation. Among them, there were 6 males and 3 females with an average age of 40.1 (ranged from 20 to 57) years old. According to Eyres classification: 3 cases were type II B, 1 case was type II A, 3 cases were type III B, and 2 cases were type V A. All patients had history of injury, and diagnosed as coracoid fracture X-ray and CT before operation. Herscovici criteria was used to evaluate function of shoulders joint after operation.
RESULTSSeven of 9 patients were followed up from 6 to 18 (averaged 11) months. The incisions were healed at stage I, coracoid process obtained bony healing, and reduction of acromioclavicular joint well. According to Herscovici criteria, 6 patients got excellent results and 1 in good.
CONCLUSIONInternal fixation for the treatment of displaced clavicle fracture combined with coracoid process could restore physiological anatomical position of coracoid process, and benefit for recovery of limb function.

9.Fiber-optic biosensor.
Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2002;26(2):119-123
Fiber-optic biosensor is now becoming a new research direction in biosensors. In recent 10 years it has got a compelling development and has been applied to medical pathogens, food toxicity, water pollution, biochemical weapons, fast detection for environmental samples, etc. In this paper its development is given out in detail.

Objective To clarify the effect of Fogarty balloon catheter thrombectomy on venous wall integraty when performed on different time phases.MethodsA murine model of inferior vena caval thrombosis was established. Collagen of venous wall was measured by Van Gieson staining and this was used as the criteria of venous wall injury. The thrombus residue was determined after Fogarty balloon catheter thrombectomy in each individual time phase. Results Collagen deposit in the adventitia of venous wall increased every day,to an amount of (5 902?399) ?m2 on the third day which was significantly different from that of controls (5 333?454) ?m2(P
