Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 1993;0(02):-
Objective To observe the attenuated effect of Kanglaite Injecti on (KI) combined with chemotherapeutic drugs on transplanted human lung cancer A54 9 in nude mice. Methods Ninety- six nude mice were transplanted subcutaneousl y with human lung cancer A549; 7 days later, the mice were randomized into 16 gr oups(n=6) and were given antitumor drugs according the regimen. Other 12 normal mice were used as controls. KI groups were given KI 1.25, 2.5 and 5.0 g/kg respe ctively and were administered (iv) continuously for 10 times on 7th day of trans plantation; cisplatin (DDP, 1.5 mg/mg or 3 mg/kg) and Gemzar (30 mg/kg or 60 mg/ kg) were given one dose by intraperitoneal injection on 10th day of transplantat ion; Gemzar was given again 4h after medication of DDP. Taxotere (25 mg/kg) was given one dose by intraperitoneal injection on 7th day of transplantation. The m ice were killed to examine the body weight, tumor weight and tumor- inhibiting rate. Results KI 1.25, 2.5 and 5.0 g/kg respectively combined with DDP 3mg/kg and Gemzar 60 mg/kg had a better inhibitory effect on the growth of human lung c ancer A549 than KI, DDP and Gemzar alone. KI in three doses respectively combine d with DDP 1.5 mg/kg and Gemzar 30 mg/kg not only had a better inhibitory effect than those of KI, DDP and Gemzar alone, but also promoted the antitumor actions . The tumor- inhibitory rate of KI in three doses respectively combined with Ta xotere (25 mg/kg) was higher than KI and Taxotere alone. Conclusion KI combine d with DDP and Gemzar or with Taxotere can shorten the tumor mass and has tumor - inhibitory and attenuated effect.

AIM To study the effect of lidamycin on the expression of genes involved in invasion regulation in HCT-8 human colon cancer cells. METHODS HCT-8 human colon cancer cells were treated with lidamycin (10 nmol*L-1) for 8 h. The effect of lidamycin on the expression of genes were detected by cDNA arrays, Northern blot and RT-PCR. RESULTS Hybridization of the entire cDNA populations to Atlas Arrays showed that lidamycin down-regulated the expression level of MMP-9 and up-regulated the expression level of TIMP-1. These changes were confirmed by Northern blot and RT-PCR. CONCLUSION The results indicate that lidamycin may exhibit its anti-invasive activity by inhibitting the production of type IV collagenase whilst enhancing the production of tissue inhibitor metalloproteinase.

Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2016;44(6):842-849
A polyimide coated stir bar for sorptive extraction (SBSE) was prepared by immersion precipitation method, and evaluated by using 5 phenols and chlorinated phenols as model samples. The extraction efficiency of the prepared stir bar was the highest compared with commercial extraction phases of SBSE. Experimental parameters including stir speed, ionic strength, extraction temperature, extraction time, desorption temperature and time were optimized. Under the optimal conditions such as 100 mL of sample, 30 g of NaCl, extraction time of 30 min, stirring speed of 800 r/ min and at 25℃, the target compounds were recovered by thermal desorption at 300℃ for 4 min, more than two orders of magnitude of linearity was obtained (R≥0. 9995), LOQs (S/ N=10) were 0. 028-0. 123 μg/ L, and RSDs were in the range of 1. 6% -9. 7% . The polyimide SBSE coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was applied to the extraction/ enrichment and analysis of phenols in real samples, including tap water, sea water, and waste water. It was found that the polyimide SBSE showed high selectivity towards polar compounds and high thermostability up to 350℃.
